Yosh minna, guess who's back at editing? :D
I really missed this, missed you, and wanted to start my (real) comeback even sooner but somehow I always lost the interest in most songs I started to use for it ... Not with this one. I mean, just take a look at the lyrics. It fits a great comeback just PERFECTLY!
With this AMV I tried to tell the same thing. The mugiwaras came back after two years, even stronger than before. I also used scenes from East Blue, Alabasta, Skypia, Enies Lobby and so on, but only as some type of "recap". The focus is on their adventures within in the New World so far, including Fishmenisland, Punk Hazard, Dress Rosa, Film Z and Film Gold and even some small parts of Zou and Whole Cake Island.
So most of the time I kept focusing on the mugiwaras, but at some other parts I decided to use some footage of Jimbei and Law as well. Why? Because Jimbei is about to join (officialy) the strawhats and Law is their most important ally in the New World.
After all, this AMV tells only one story: Keep going and when someone or something is trying to take you down, always get up and come back like a boomerang!

it feels damn good to be back. I missed everything about the editing. The videos, the music, the people. Just everything. But somehow it feels - for me - almost like I've never been away. It all feels so familiar, even the editing ... When I started this project I thought "Hmm, maybe I got a bit rusty through the last year" but it turns out that I got not!
But that's just my opinion. What's yours? Feel free to tell me what you think about my comeback AMV! And if you have some song suggestions for me, just let me know. As an editor I can't have enough variety when it comes to music! :D
All in all ... It feels damn good to be back!
Glad you Switched to 60fps. The zooms are way a lot greater and This is pure gold compared to many shitty amvs out there.

Well, it wasn't on freewill, but I had to switch my PC after my last one broke (and got all epis, movies and so on back) and well, there I thought why not switch to a newer version from Vegas instead of keeping stuck with Vegas 8 as well? :D
It definitely looks way smoother now, so I'm glad I did. Same for the epis, which are all now in a way better quali than my last ones (at least 720p, most 1080p).
