- I wanted to make an amv about the crewmembers who have tried to leave the crew at some point: Nami, Usopp, Robin, and Sanji. I wanted to explore the similarities between their arcs, their relationship with Luffy, and even with each other. Because this song has a lot of reflecting I concentrated less on showing a chronological series of events and more on showing the emotions and the parallels between each character and how they clashed and reconciled with Luffy.
I always end up finishing and uploading these in the middle of the night haha

i think its because he trusts them, plus they basically brothers and sistors at this point. they spend all their time on a ship together, literally weeks where its just them on the seas together. and after fighting for eachother and having eachothers back, he wouldnt just give up on his brother because he knows that that person was not sanji.
Easily most underrated anime. When people get asked ''What is your favorite anime?'' I almost never hear One Piece anymore. AMV's like this one makes you remember how great One Piece is, how it actually teaches you so many lessons and that the anime has amazing characters with even better characteristics. Everyone in One Piece will have a special place in my heart. Even BlackBeard (Purely because he's such a great villain).
The lengths that Luffy will go for his crew mates is nothing short of admirable.

This is why the crew respect luffy so much. Every fight that they've been thru, they always praised luffy, and they fight with all what they've got even it means to risk their life for luffy. Luffy always be there for them and now its time for the crew to protect him. So much respect for the strawhats pirates. The loves, the feels, damn.

The most loyal to luffy is zoro,he even knocked sanji out to take luffy's damage from kuma,hes the only early 4 in that crew that doesnt left luffy yet. Period

faiz yea, literally the first episode zoro told luffy that he will cut him down if luffy is in his way towards his dream and on thriller bark zoro literally gave his own dream and future for luffy. And during the time training arc he literally threw his pride to get stronger for luffy. Mad respect for zoro

They were leaving to help the future of the straw hats robin has always been hunted by the world government since the age of 8 and sanji literally sacrificed himself back in zou to go with bege and from there he basically trapped cause if he tried to escape the workers at Baratie would’ve died. Yes basically zoro is the most loyal but the others had no choice

Luffy has an impressive amount of resolve. Only time it ever truly waivered was when Ace died.

Goku might be the strongest in Dragon Ball, but in others animes? The Only shonen anime with an big name that has ever made an crossover with Dragon Ball is One Piece and even then Goku and Luffy didn't go all out on each other, so there is no evidence on which one is the strongest, only theories. Goku also have an strong kokoro (Mind, spirit and heart) that, even in the darkest times, he still keeps up his hopes and even work with his own enemies to win. In my opinion, Goku and Luffy are great protagonists and both have strong kokoro.

I love Zoro and I am dying for some more info about him. I'm not a Zoro fan as much as I am a One Piece fan. Zoro stands out as the guy we currently know the least about aside from Brook. Brook definitely has a ton of story before he met Laboon but it wasn't ever relevant so Oda never really showed any of it. Zoro just popped into a Dojo with the intent to prove himself and we don't know why or where he came from. All the other members of the crew we definitely know a lot more about.
Zoro's ambition is his entire being. It's more important to him than anything else. That ambition is why he cares so much about the crew. It's why he is so loyal. "How could a man who can't even save his own Captain become the worlds best swordsman". His loyalty to the crew and his captain is entirely based around his ambition. He has standards that he holds to himself.
Yet, that ambition seemingly came out of nowhere. It was there before Kuina. That thirst for strength.

Zoro is the only one who has experienced the pain luffy goes thoroughly for his friends. During the thriller bark arc Kuma transfers luffys pain to him. The "nothing happened" response zoro said to sanji was him acknowledging what his captain goes through for his crew. He understands the compassion that his captain is able to give out and this is why zoro will never betray luffy
Damn u brought all the pain that i experienced back in that scene, zoro's literally the best vice captain!

When I see that, I realize that one piece is such a complet piece, just imagine doing a manga like that, with so much details, structuration, since the first episode, RESPECT
This is what makes Luffy so great. There's just not anyone like him, because he is so rare and unique. The strawhats are the most human like to me, the type of people you would find in real life before meeting someone like Luffy.
God it hurts so much when you realize luffy was there at his friends WORST OF WORST times but he fought the ugliest war all without them.
Edit: you guys I’m not villanizing his friends. I love everyone and everything about this show. I’m just pointing out the fucked up reality. I’m more than 1000% sure they wud give their lives for luffys cause. His ANY cause. Not just king of the pirates. Bec in many ways, he freed them from their shackles, saved them from their demons, and reached out with a helping hand. So u can imagine how much guilt and in-debt they feel when he was there for their worst times but they cudn be there for his. That being said, I do want to see them air this out. All of it in front of each other. It wud be kind of honorable? Like someone like Zoro, he may feel the most responsible bec he is his first mate n right hand guy. So something like a scenerio where Zoro has to confront this guilt and he addresses it. Cud be a straightforward one where he bows down to luffy, (not disregarding him, it wud be somewhat like the boat scene after mihawk fight) he apologizes and he swears on his life and swords that luffy will never fight another fight alone. But either way love one piece

When I started watching One Piece, I thought it was going to be some cheesy comedy but it has become one of the best adventures I could have ever hoped to be a part of.

Luffy really teaches us that..... If you love someone truly and know that they're going down a wrong path, they're leaving you, then you go to the ends of the world to bring them back.
I watched One Piece growing up from the age of 11. This show is what gave me the strong faith in humanity and the world that I have. Those characters have been through hell, but there is always hope, they are able to see better days. There is so much hope in this show, the biggest of it is related to Luffy who is a true ray of sunshine in this world and gives so much hope to the people he know

Luffy has such high EQ, and so much faith and trust for his crew, he never once gave up on them even when they turned their backs on him and even disrespected him
Watching one piece was the best decision I have ever made, I love it so much, I will be sad when it does eventually come to an end but I will also be proud to have witnessed such a masterpiece

The two shots of Luffy walking away from a downed Usopp and Sanji walking away from a downed Luffy right in a row were my favorites out of this whole thing. This is a masterpiece.
There was a video talking about how one piece has the best character evolution and honestly that is a fact but for luffy i think its just amazing how he was always the type of person to sacrifice everything for the people around him. Like who has the patience, love and mental strength to be left but still accept people and never doubt their intentions
Videos like this make me remember what Luffy went through for his crew and what would sacrifice for them. What a captain.

You can really hear the sadness in Luffy’s voice, voice actors and you did a great job
The difference between you and some other AMV makers is that you think about what you wanna show and what you can show with those anime clips instead of just taking those where the most action is. You're producing an AMV with a plan. Nothing is coincidental. Oh and you're playing with warp zooms instead of just a basic cut. I like it.

most AMVs i watch, all it is is the music tells a story, then they have the anime in the backround wich represents that story, but they dont sinc with the beat. this one felt like it was the animes story with the music as backup, normally its the music with the anime as backup. this one synced with the beat and was edited well, while also representing a story from the anime.
level one: anyhow put amv.
level two: action scene sync music no story
level three: story scene fit the song but the beat dont sync
level four: amv fit story, song and beats
If I have to see a other amv with breaking Benjamin or some other song that's been done 100000 times I might go crazy lol
And never forget: Luffy is a hero that never abandon his comrades

I think this perfectly shows the relationship between Luffy and his crew and how strong their relationship is and how much of an amazing person luffy is. He was there through thick and thin with all of them even when they seriously considered leaving the crew. I don’t think I could keep that up at all
woah the song plus the scenes give me a chill down my spine. It's one of the rare AMVs where no real "action" is happening, no fights or anything. But the scenes are still vivid and you know where they are from and what emotions are going on. It's beautiful!

What I really love about your editing is that you use effects tastefully. Many AMVs overuse camera shake and other effects and it tends to take me out of what is actually happening. But your choices make sense, the effects and cuts amplify the footage. It's a real pleasure to watch this, and I can't wait to see your future work!

This AMV never fails to make me cry. The way the lyrics sync wjth the scenes, the way you portrayed certain events, but wow the end hits me so hard. Luffy loves his friends so much and it shows. This is why he will always be my favorite One Piece character!!
This fits honestly how even when people leave him Luffy moves heaven and earth for them. He has face the "gods" ruling one piece to save robin and many a "devil" to save nami and sanji respectively. usopp could not let go and it hurt luffy more than it can show. I appreciate your effort to convey this emotion.

Oh, I really hate AMV but you made me love it ! It's wonderful to see that even after all these fights and conflicts, luffy still take them back and forgive, even help them after "betraying" him. He really is a golden captain, friend. I love them all and I think they really care for each other. It's the bests friendships I've ever seen.

@@oMuStiiA I was looking for a shortened version of the East Blue Arc to help introduce a friend to OP. The thumbnail and title made me think this was about the big moments of East Blue. I ended up sending them a link to the Episode of East Blue movie before getting lost in OP AMVs.
I have this saved to my Favourites and I always come back to watch your amvs, but to be honest you're my favourite amv creator. You just bring the best out of all the scenes and you match them to the rhythm of the song, it makes me so happy that there are people out there who can see the difference between making an amv with emotion instead of just mashing random scenes together

Thank you! I don't remember how long it took unfortunately, I actually restarted this amv from scratch at one point 😂, but the second attempt didn't take TOO long I don't think. The amv that has probably taken me the longest to make was probably my Tongues video if I had to guess.
I wish I could fully watch this AMV right now. Unfortunately I try to avoid One Piece spoilers like The Plague.
But judging through the description I can say this at least: "A crew's inner strength doesn't come from raw power, but from the love, the desire and the moral within it."

This video brings back so many memories. It crazy how one piece has gotten me so emotional attached to its characters. I honestly feel that I’m in the story because I can sit on my couch and watch as luffy and the crew go threw these crazy emotional and physical endeavors. This series has touched me in such a way i legitimately get sad when people are forced to leave the crew due to Their past. I can really empathize with every member of the stew hats, and I think Any one piece fan can say that this incredible series has submerged us within the live of these characters. One piece is just unlike any other anime or tv show.

That is so incredible beautiful. Everything about this is amazing; the way that the music flows so smoothly with the scenes, and the way that the scenes transition between one another so perfectly, and the emotions that all of it evokes. I'm moved.

It's one thing to perfectly put together and sync scenes with a song but another to basically tell a story using them. Amazing. You never fail to impress.
