once you actually think about it luffy has defeated nearly all of his crew's demons and thats why they respect luffy and at the end when it says "some people give off love as naturally as the sun gives off heat" i thought about it and realized why luffy is a good captain same with old Shiro Hibe (White Beard).
No matter how many times i watch this over the years, Luffy yelling leading into the chorus makes me smile and get goosebumps at the same time.. Love it!
Watching this in 2022, right after the release of chapter 1044... my dude, the ender recontextualization of both the name and the quote at the end? Eerie.
What I love about this video is how haunting Luffy's voice is when blended with the music. And the power behind each clip and battle scene you picked was enough to give me chills. This is one of those Amv's that will continue to leave lasting impressions in our memories.
This made me cry so much, it makes me realise how much I love one piece and how sad it can get, this was amazing and I’ll probably be back to rewatch this 10000 more times

This might be one of the first amvs I’ve ever watched, when I had only begun to discover anime and internet and had caught up with one piece. and I still remember how I had downloaded it on my touch-tone phone and was watching it regularly because I loved it so much. And it made me discover the music as well. This was when I had little to no internet and old amvs were basically the only fandom stuff I had ever seen. I’m getting very nostalgic now.
I don't know if it's just nostalgia but One Piece back then was so much better than what it is nowadays. Like the overall animation felt/looked better, the emotions were not so stupidly overexaggerated and felt real and the Story had a much better pacing. I find it so sad that I can't watch or read the manga anymore from the anime that I grew up with, but AMVs like this just bring me back to the good old days

Omg 1:09 Luffy using swords against Arlong! Looks so weird and I don't even remember that XD. Amazing AMV though, very powerful indeed and I am sure it touched the hearts of everyone
He did this to show that he relies on his friends, cause he cant cook, or navigate or fight with swords. If he would be all alone, he would be useless.
This amv holds so much emotion in me! It's been three years since I started watching one piece and I'm with oda from 2years now. I'm waiting for a lot more episodes to come now so I can binge. One piece changed my life. And I'm so grateful for it. I just realised how much I loved one piece and Japan. And that love was beautiful. I hope I could go back to it. 😭

This AMV and song changed my life. I first heard it when it came out nine years ago and lost my Grandma. Many years have past and I have since lost my parents as well. This song truly has helped me through all those dark times and always reminded me to make it to the Sunrise. Thank you for making this AMV with One Piece because they too went through dark times and pulled through. Amazing art.
