Robin's mother couldn't possibly be Luffy's mother since she died before Luffy was born. Robin was 28 when she was first introduced and Luufy was 19 after the time skip, meaning that she's at least ten years older and she was only 8 years old when her mother died.

I want Lilith to join, but doubt she will. We should've learned from Vivi, Carrot, and Yamato that Oda just likes adding attractive women for an arc or two. Besides Lilith's role would have too much overlap with the current crew. Franky does robots/engineering, Ussop does gadgets/tricks, Chopper does medicine/anatomy, Nami does weather/navigation, and Robin does scholarship/history. What other kind of smarts could Lilith bring to the table?
It's more likely that she and Bonnie become crew mates and go off on their own when they get the chance.
Lilith has that one thing that is needed: a dream and lack of identity. Being a Vega punk but now decoupled from punk records she doesn’t know how to be herself truly and that will be her new goal once she realizes that getting revenge on york isn’t a way to live and luffy will truly free her
Lilith is probably the best option to be the last straw hat out of anyone else so far, the ship does need a scientist /quatermaster and Lilith fits both roles, not only that but it’s very safe to say she will take on Stella’s dream of free energy. She literally ticks off every box for a straw hat crew member
The one thing I can see Oda keeping Lilith on the crew for is to have gags where she introduces herself as vegapunk and the person she's introducing herself to getting confused
Also Lilith is the name of a demon , so she fit quite well in the demon theme of the strawhats : ifrit jambe,king of hell,demonio fleur.

@niii588 I mean, I was shocked when Law turned out to be a D. back then. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Robin is one as well. They tend to want the most in their own ways, their own interests. Robin being a D. makes the most sense. The archeologist of the D.s, or tome keeper. She'd want most of all to know the history she came from, especially with the Ohara incident. History can only be buried for so long.

Ace is (chronologically speaking) only 3-4 years older than Luffy due to how long his mom carried him, by comparison Robin is 11 years older than Luffy, so I’m pretty sure there might be some gap there for Roger to have been involved with someone else. Besides even if he was already with Rouge, it’s not like he’s ever been shown to be perfectly morally right, Roger, unlike Luffy, has confirmed kills, and in high numbers. He may have been a pretty good guy but he was still a pirate so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that after finding out he was sick he would’ve been motivated to have more children if possible, might as well.

Lilith will likely be a companion of the crew for Elbaf along with Bonney & Kuma since they need a place to hide. With upcoming people likely to return & meet the crew in Elbaf, I think Hancock & the Kuja Pirates will be part of the Grand Fleet & be allies aganist whoever the Villain is. Smoker returning & being a bad again & end up allying with Pirates again, because the bad guy will be too powerful. Urouge will be an ally if God Eneru will be the villain. Katakuri might meet up with them as well & tell Luffy He has no grudge against Big Mom likely being dead, unless Elbaf will be a legit split 2-part arc with 2 different villains AKA, Big Mom & Eneru. Yamato reunites with the crew with a message sent by Momonoske. Vivi will reunite with the Crew towards the end of Elbaf to show She's alive. Sabo along with Koala & Hack will track down the Straw Hats in Elbaf & tell everyone what really happened at the reverie & reveals Cobra's last message about Vivi being a member of the D clan. Smoker being conflicted about a ruler on the empty throne might gather a few marines to rebel aganist the Government since there should be no ruler of the world, including Tashigi, the members of SWORD, Garp ( if He's still alive), Hina, Tsuru, Sengoku, Koby, Helmeppo, Diez Drake, The girl who likes Koby (I forgot her name) & hopefully Fugitora. Stussy hearing everything that was said, will be willing to tell the world what happened & ask Luffy to take Lilith with Her so She can protect Her since She's the last non traitor Vegapunk. Since Luffy will go to Laugh Tale next, I think people might join the crew temporary because some people have unfinished business with Blackbeard. Hancock's home was attacked by Him, Katakuri wants to save His younger half-sister, Vivi needs to be protected by friends & Yamato might go since She was friends with Ace. Leaving Bonney & Kuma going to Wano & running into the Fire Tank Pirates & giving them Luffy's alliance message & meeting Momo & His protectors & telling Him Yamato is fine. She has business with someone, lastly, the Kuja Pirates will do their best to find Zou & give them Luffy's message & Carrot will agree. Smoker tracking down all the marines He needs to talk about the information He was given. The Crew will have 4 companions to Laugh Tale. Vivi, Katakuri, Yamato & Hancock. One of them might be the final crew member. I know it's a lot, but it's a theory.

I want Law to be the one to go rescue Garp while getting revenge for what happened early on in the Egg Head arc. Like, picking up and saving Garp because he happened to be there and he's a doctor and everything.
Just gonna call it Dragon was in that frame where Clovers brother died. He was one of the I assume government officers CP whatever with fedora hats on, like the scene on O'Hara when they stopped Clover from telling the name of the Ancient Kingdom. Also fits Dragon the son of the Hero of the Marines getting choice assignments, maybe even getting into Cipher Pol like I mentioned above because his father is so trusted.
That moment Dragon watched Clovers brother die the freedom fighters were born, and made him want to go to O'Hara to see what that man died for and why his brother lied about his association. As Dragon learns about things on O'Hara he meets Olvia, and not "an Ace amount of time" later Nico Robin is born. Also answers why Dragon was looking for Robin, and why he is so hesitant to have anyone know of Luffy. He had to watch Clovers brother die, and knows Olvias group is why O'Hara was buster called.
Robin being Roger's daughter doesn't make sense. Remember, Roger requested Garp to take care of his son. I think he would've included Robin in that request if she was his daughter as he knows that Garp has the freedom and capabilities of searching for Robin
Lilith might have to stick with the Straw Hats after the events of Egghead Island arc and to be safe under Luffy, one of the New Emperors of the Sea.

Here let me lay out what I mean
First Crewmates- Zoro, Chopper, and Jinbei. Misunderstood, monstrous figures, had a major influence in their life that molded them into who they are today (Kuina, Hiriluk, and Fisher Tiger)
Second Crewmates- Nami and Robin. Women, took a while to officially join, tragic backstory specifically involving their mother being killed by an outside force (Murder, Buster Call, Purposely Infected if it’s Bonney)
Third Crewmates- Ussop and Franky. Former leaders, creative, tinkerers or engineers, some connection to the Roger Pirates (Yassop and Tom), and (potentially) have other names (cutty flam for Franky, and potentially Mont Blanc for Ussop)
Fourth Crewmates- Perverts, had more going on with their backstory than initially let on (Sanji being a Vinsmoke and Brook with Laboon (maybe more), serves a luxray role in the crew

I maintain the idea that Satellites that are "killed" are just re-uploaded into Punk Records, that Atlas isolating Lilith is an attempt to get Lilith to fix things later
I think the (inevitable) explosion of Egghead will not make all of the gorosei die, rather only one of them die. It's true that the gorosei have been shown to regrow parts of their body or seemingly be unkillable, but I believe that's because of the way they were summoned on the island. They might not physically be on the island because of this summoning, and that's why they can regrow parts of their bodies, they might be shadows or something similar. The only gorosei that had to get to the island on ship to summon the other gorosei is Saturn, which may end up being the only one dying from the explosion. The death of a gorosei (Saturn) might be the famous "incident" that will happen on Egghead and that the narrator of the story anticipated some chapters ago.

Well, Robin does share many personality traits with Luffy, though it may not always seem so for their great intellectual difference.
And she's very good at telling what's going in her captain's head, perhaps best exemplified when she compared Marco to a pineapple.
I dont believe that Lilith will stay with the party long term, but i do think having her for the journey to Elbaf might give opportunity for the Strawhats tech team to get an upgrade. Lilith could work with franky for upgrades to the Sunny, for his body and maybe even give the bubble technology to Nami and Usopp etc. They will get massive use out of that when they fight Blackbeard

Lillith will def be an "honorary crew member" like Momo, not a permanent. However if Bonney doesn't join the crew, I'll wonder what Oda was smoking to make such a decision.
My theory is that Emmeth was created using the mother flame in a forge. Mother flame being the one thing to hurt/kill the Gorosei which is why its effective and as durable.
We need to remember that Dragon was more interested in Robin ( when she was mentioned on newspapers) than his own son. That may be a proof to the theory that she is Dragon's daughter and Luffy's sister.

Remembering that a Blackbeard Ship is there (but suspiciously not discovered by the Navy?!) perhaps with Blackbeard (not entirely sure since he heard Vegapunk's last message but that could honestly be from a screen or because he was on the island to hear it), regardless I can't help but wonder what he's there for. At this point in time there are 4 options: 1. He's going to swoop in on a weak Elder after the Golem explosion and take their abilities. 2. He's going for the Mother Flame but might get into a fight with one of the Elders as a result. 3. He's going to swoop up the Seraphim and use some way to control them. 4. He's going to try and kidnap York to come work for him but there is a real 50/50 chance that she dies instead making Lilith the last Vegapunk.

You skipped over Carrot on your list of Should-Have-Been Strawhats. Personally, I would argue that she WAS a Strawhat. Her being stripped of that title at the end of Wano was one of those deep wounds you don't feel at first, but never stops hurting no longer how long ago it scarred over.

Honestly I think Bonney might be the next Straw Hat because:
1. She has that tragic past thing checked ( like all the other Straw Hats )
2. She has been looking for Nika all her life and now that she's found Luffy I don't think she might have another reason to leave. Why leave when she just found the man she was trying to find ?
3. She also managed to hold that G5 form even if only briefly so who knows maybe she might even be connected to Nika in some way 🤔 if we think about it no other Devil Fruit user from this generation (except Luffy ofc) has managed to get into that Gear 5 form with the white hair and all that stuff.
There is no way you can convince me that Lilith will be a new member of the Strawhat Crew. Bonney is almost guaranteed to be the new member, as she fills the role of cabin girl and Luffy's protége, similary to Shanks and Roger.
Lilith has basically no personality except being loud, aggressive and obnoxious. She has no backstory either, other than being *somehow* created by Vegapunk and most importantly, she fills no role in the crew and she can't really fight.
I think people are forgetting about Stussy. She has the potential to become a new Straw Hat crew member. Hear me out: after Stella died, Stussy said she had no purpose in life anymore, yet she didn't commit suicide or put herself in fatal danger. This indicates that, deep down, she still has the will to live. If she had truly given up, she wouldn't have asked Kaku to let her back on the team. However, even if Kaku wanted her back, we all know Lucci would immediately deal with her. Additionally, the World Government will hunt her down since she betrayed them.
Given that she still has a will to live and will likely be pursued by the government, the question remains: how can she escape the impending Buster Call, the Gorosei, and Lucci? She has three options:
1. Leave the island using government ships
2. Sail on with the giants
3. Leave with the Straw Hats
Out of these three options, only one makes sense: traveling with the Straw Hats. Since Luffy is now a Yonko, the government is cautious about launching direct attacks on him, knowing the consequences could be massive. This is why they instructed CP0 not to touch Luffy. Therefore, joining the Straw Hats would be the best way for Stussy to stay alive and survive under the current circumstances.
I can envision her appearing at some point after they've set sail and no Marines are in sight, similar to how Robin joined the crew post-Alabasta. Robin also felt she had no purpose in life and believed she might find it by joining the Straw Hats.

I see Lilith staying on until the crew has their meeting with Dragon and Sabo. I believe this meeting will be when Vivi officially re joins the crew, and Lilith (as Vegapunk’s last body) would side with Dragon as she’s going to need room and resources to get a new lab up and running.
I mean Vivi, Yamato, and Jimbei are the only 3 characters that have had real offers from Luffy to join the crew that have had their own cover stories. I don’t know where Yamato’s story is exactly heading, but I still see the final member being Vivi
Reasons why:
- the x on their hands indicating the number 10, thus she be the tenth and final member
- if Yamato joined, we’d have the problem of each Yonko crew having 3 commanders; Shanks has Beck, Roux, and Yasopp; Luffy has Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbei (Yamato would make it a quartet); Whitebeard had Marco, Jozu, and Vista during the Marineford arc; Big Mom with Katakuri, Smoothie, and Cracker; Kaido with King, Queen, and Jack; Blackbeard with Shiryu, Kuzan, and Burgess (Lafitte if Kuzan does betray - really hoping he won’t and Robin’s final opponent will be Kuzan who helps him realize he’s truly lost his way); Buggy has Crocodile, Mihawk, and I imagine eventually one other past warlord.
- Vivi will be too important to the WG for Luffy not to protect her directly after they hear the message left to Sabo by Cobra
- Lilith would have a fighting style way too similar to Franky, not to mention she’d serve the same function as him along with other characters already on the ship. Too much overlay.
Ok but one Elder can die and that would be a good thing. Not only a minus one foe but also that would put gorosei and Imu in a new spot. They lost someone, i dont think they would get emotional but it could had a huge impact on story. We can get rid of Saturn or... If i had to choose The Alaskan Bullworm

During Sabody when Kuma separates the strawhats, it always seems odd to me that Robin was the last one before Luffy that Kuma sent away. Also in the anime, they give a scene of Robin and Luffy reaching out to one another before Robin disappears. If Robin turns out to be Luffy's sister, that scene will be a masterpiece.
Luffy asking "Who is that?" is a little weird. He should try to fix Joyboy's mistakes, if he can.

Some thoughts:
1) Robin is in fact Luffy's older half sister. Olvia did die on Ohara. Luffy's mom was the deceased former Queen of Amizon Lily, Toritoma, whom Hancock succeeded as Queen.
2) Olvia did sail with Roger at Dragon's request. He wanted her to do so in an effort to gain knowledge that could be used against the Celestial Dragons.
3) Lilith will not actually become a Straw Hat. She will remain on Elbaf with Saul, studying the contents of the Ohara library.
4) The Giant's self destruct will have the power to harm the Gorosei. Upon activating it, Warcury and Ju Peter, along with Juro, will evacuate to a safe distance. Unfortunately for them, Saturn will take one last swipe at Bonney in an attempt to kill her. Kuma will spring to life again, taking a mortal wound for her, and then will proceed to full strength Paw Paw Saturn off the ship, propelling the Giants away as Sunny fires off a burst, but knocking Saturn into the giant just as it detonates, killing him, Kuma dies in Bonney's arms, and his fruit respawns on one of the trees on the Sunny, which will later be eaten by Vivi after she reunites with the Straw Hats.
For me, I think the other vegapunk will be dead since the marines said that they need to kill every vegapunk no matter what.
