They found a lot of missing persons but recovery rate was low because kidnapped kids are usually murdered. Also they stopped doing it when they moved to plastic jugs.

"Real Emo" only consists of the dc Emotional Hardcore scene and the late 90's Screamo scene. What is known by "Midwest Emo" is nothing but Alternative Rock with questionable real emo influence. When people try to argue that bands like My Chemical Romance are not real emo, while saying that Sunny Day Real Estate is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake emo as My Chemical Romance (plus the pretentiousness). Real emo sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake emo is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL EMO are Pg 99, Rites of Spring, Cap n Jazz (the only real emo band from the midwest scene) and Loma Prieta. Some examples of FAKE EMO are American Football, My Chemical Romance and Mineral EMO BELONGS TO HARDCORE NOT TO INDIE, POP PUNK, ALT ROCK OR ANY OTHER MAINSTREAM GENRE

My initial impression was "holy shit Kurtis is so short" but then I realized it's because of the bricks! The backdrop is giving the illusion that kurtis is just a little guy 😭😭

In Australia, they released sets of cards with details of unsolved murders and pics of the victims. Apparently it aided in tying up a few cases when they released the cards into the prisons. Very bizarre fact I wantted to share
They made serial killer trading cards in the US in the 90s, so this seems like the next step.
Not that related to this but I have a teacher who found out that his mom no longer had legal custody of him when he saw himself on a milk carton. He did eventually get unkidnapped so it all worked out I guess

Pythons aren't venomous at all, even to their prey. They're constrictors, meaning that they constrict their pray and suffocate it before consuming it, instead of paralyzing it with venom.

I saw you live in Irvine and I brought my mom and dad who are 62 and 68 respectively and were by far the oldest people there but everyone was so kind to them and me and they made my parents feel really welcome and it was a lot of fun! shout of to Kurtistown! everyone was so cool!

I WAS AT THIS SHOW!! I'm cracking the fuck up at 8:05!! That's me!!!!!!!! Everything is always 10x funnier in person, that's why we're all dying whenever the camera cuts to the audience. It was a great show :)

i saw the show from a year or two ago and genuinely, all respect, thought it was disjointed, awkward, and written like a youtube video but this is not only much stronger than that but I can tell he's much more confident in himself and the jokes he's telling, this is a lot of fun and I think its great how much more confident he is it really helps in holding attention

It's hard to start doing stand-up when you already have an established audience. They won't have genuine reactions to the jokes 'cause they're already stoked to see the person they're a fan of. That way, it's almost impossible to filter the jokes that don't work and keep the ones that do in order to have a solid set. The best solution to this is just to do small gigs without announcing it to the fans to have genuine stranger audience reactions and bomb whenever you need to bomb.

this crowd laughs at literally anything kurtis does and it paces this delivery really slowly and makes it pretty darn tedious for people watching that weren't in the room
for me, the reason why Kurtises videos are so funny is because they're fast paced an unpredictable, but because of the slow pacing here it gives you time to figure out exactly where he's going before he says anything and it just really ruins any momentum, intrigue, or false expectation.

also statistically very few of the milk cartons kids were found as a direct result of the program. and stranger abductions are the rarest kind of abduction. most of these kids were taken by family members or at least someone that the child knew. there was one girl though, 7 year old Bonnie Bullock was reunited with her father after two years as a result of being on the milk cartons across america.

i’m not a big fan of standup except for a few select comedians but this is one of the most solid sets i’ve listened to. the flow was great, and the jokes original and funny asf. it’s rare for me to want more from a comedian but now i’ve been prompted to watch your channel again 😁

Ah yes, because all comedy is always 100% original and no one ever has similar experiences that they find humor in and use for content. In fact no one has ever had a joke with the same premise as someone else's joke, and if they did, making that joke was intentionally copying the other person. Never happens in comedy
