Same here, so I always opt for the ones with greasezerks. Especially for a heavy duty application and something I depend on pretty heavily like the van. The other side(didnt film) was a mevotech supreme Idler exact same part number and had the grease zerk and a proper nut that properly secured that joint. 2 different batches I'm guessing.
When I was in the trade I found Mevo Tech wasn’t the best quality and didn’t hold up very long ! It’s hard to find quality front end parts these days ! Even Moog has gone down hill.
Yep you are 100% right, wont buy a moog part anymore either 😅 they start out good and then dial back the quality to save pennies until the parts are barely usable 😆 I heard someone say that you are better off with parts out of the junkyard, than the garbage they make these days and its scary but true..
In Southern Ontario, Canada? Not a chance unless its a scam and they are using my pictures, I know the old owner is trying to buy another one and is using pics of it as examples... I would be interested to see that ad, even if it just looks like my van as its pretty unique at this point.
@@jorelsmith1985Good luck on your search! These are awesome machines when they arw in good order and only getting rarer and more expensive, make sure whatever you do dont buy a rusted out one. Any questions just ask 👍
That was my initial idea as well, but I don't have the time to finish mevotechs job, I paid for a completed part. It was defective in another way anyways so I'm glad I didn't waste my time, did you watch until the end?
Awesome video bud 🙌
Thanks! The repair are the most fun to make and easiest to edit 😅
Appreciate the comment and thanks for tuning in! 🙏
A lot of suspension/steering parts I've ordered over the past...decade maybe...haven't been greasable. Sometimes on both ends.

Very true, they are getting to be rare, especially here in canada. The ones that are left are in bad shape typically.
Drill n tap it 🤔
