This one was more emotional. Became a Dodgers fan as a little boy who went with his Dad to see them play against the Mets at Shea stadium. I was 5 and picked the Dodgers to win because of their Jerseys. Been a fan ever since. The Yanks broke my heart in 77-78, but we got em in 81. Beating the A's in 88 as underdogs was sweet. 2020 unfortunately had the Covid asterisk. This one in 2024 was everything. Erasing a 5 run lead on the road against the Yankees and winning the the title, is Legendary stuff. Thank you players and coaches for making this the most memorable one of all.

Roberts left him in, Blake got the K, end of story. The old Roberts most likely would've pulled Treinen at that point.

They play the game the right way. Not all bout flash or being douches. Freeman, Kershaw, Ohtani, Betts, Muncy Teoscar, Keke, Buehler... All of em seem like dudes id just wanna sit and have a beer with. Just a wholesome af group in the club house. You can tell its all love and they enjoy the game. Their greatness is just a side effect. If anyone didnt know or needed another reason to love them... Mookie married his high school sweetheart. Freeman lost his mom when he was 11 and thats why his Dad and him are so close. Kershaw is incredibly religious and has donated a lot to the church close to his ranch in Texas along with outreach programs. Teoscar and keke are apparently clowns in the dugout and also both happily married. Just an all Around group of good dudes.
