Beating the A's in 88 as underdogs was sweet. 2020 unfortunately had the Covid asterisk. This one in 2024 was everything. Went to many Sunday home games, at Dodger Stadium, with my mom and grandfather, sitting in the Right Field Pavilion. This was when Garvey, Lopes, Russell, and Cey were the infield. So many great memories. The three of us were together in front of the tv when the Dodgers clinched the WS in '88. Sadly my mom passed a few months later, and my grandfather passed the next year. He was buried in his Dodger blue bomber jacket! I know they were cheering from above last night!

Roberts left him in, Blake got the K, end of story. The old Roberts most likely would've pulled Treinen at that point.
