As an Octobrush main we dont think of inkbrushes as our rivals we think of every brush as a rival that we need to beat to feel better that we died like 5-7 times.

Bloblobber is an awesome weapon, don't let it get you down. Great for controlling turf and can can easily annoy the other team. Other players don't realize Bloblobber takes aim and strategy to be good at it.

As a person who mains aerospray, the "you die after using reefslider" thing is painfully accurate.
This goes for both Splatanas (I main the wiper), we don't hate each other but we seek each other out and battle like no one else is on the battlefield just like all those medieval battle scenes where there are hundreds of people attacking each other but somehow leave you and your opponent alone.
We also live for the one-shot splat ding noise, It makes the whole match worth it. Even better when against another splatana.

My friend keeps saying that inkbrush is better bc of the ink resistance while rolling, I still don’t know why octobrush doesn’t have that perk either
I use Ink brush because it has an actually usable secondary and uhh yeah that's why

As a Splat Roller main, this is very accurate. Though, I do miss having splashdown. Splashdown was a good special.
as a splat roller main also, the amount of clowns who disagree on that front with me and use meta as a way to justify is insane. i always retort with "if you have to use meta to tell me im wrong and then fail to best me with it, its not meta, its just that you arent good"

I like the heavy's new look. It's no longer a real-life minigun with pastel colors that shoots ink and more like it's actually made for inkling/octoling turf war. The 3 gallon jug now looks more like a real life one with it's new nozzle angled down, with a small lever you push to release water like on a water dispenser. Other great changes are the metal pipe frame securing the jug, the solid-looking main body connecting the jug to the barrels and the heavy duty tube at the bottom. Practically designed for Splatoon and looks gruntier than before. Shoots fast and fairly long but not too much. Well-deserved since it now looks the part of a lighter balanced hydra

As a Dualie Main I was expecting you to roast the hell out of my weapon but it was surprisingly positive, but the splat ones was kinda accurate with the rolls 😂 As soon as I started remembering the rolls, I end up doing it too much and drowning myself multiple times by accident 😂
I agree! I'm actually getting better at using dualies dodge rolls in battle (which is especially fun against undercover brellas) but I like them because I ENJOY BEING CRAB!! I even have a crab tank badge now! I would have more but I don't play that often 😭

As someone who mains squiffer, I actually do like point sensor. Helps me aim a bit better because I know where exactly they are.

As an undercover enjoyer, its kit is great for many maps in clam blitz. Everyone always forgets that if you put it away it fully heals with no lag, and its good in close range fights.

Tenta mi- I mean Flingza roller main here. I can confirm that this is pretty accurate, although I don't spam missiles the way reef-lux does (staying at spawn the entire game and painting every inch of uninked turf), but I do still use them a lot. If they're good, they're good, don't judge me for playing for my win condition.

Currently I use aerospray, tri-stringer and Splatana Stamper. I use intensify action a lot so on a good day I can get some decent splats with the stamper, I tend to play asrospray more aggressively then I should sometimes I have both overall splats and most turf inked and tri stringer I mostly just have to hope I can pincer with the killer wail 2.0.

i don't exactly main any weapon since i've been experimenting a lot recently, but as someone who plays splash _fairly_ often i gotta say i love the burst bombs (but that might just be bc they're my favorite sub). the satisfaction i get whenever i bomb, shoot & kill, or hit them with one as they're getting away is unparalleled
(but yeah, i'm also glad squelcher dualies are top tier now)
No single splatling covered me but every one of them had something nailed. I bounce back and forth between several of them so it makes sense
I also occasionally play tri stringer and I don't know how to use it, how did you guess?
as a trislosher main, the pain is real. i really miss the kit from splatoon 2 and the design felt nicer 😭
but i’m also happy that the slosher is finally amazing

I main boozler and I can’t miss what I never played lmao. That said, I love thermal ink now and consistently get splat assister. It started as a meme weapon choice and mutated into a genuine love of the weapon because I don’t usually play charger/sniper classes.
As a 5* dynamo roller main I can confirm I have died to more splat bomb spamming splattershot Jr's than any other weapon in the entire game

I actually really like Wave Breaker now, it's a good impromptu shield, and good chip, that sets up for combo splats.
And you can just keep moving sprinklers, to help paint for special.
I honestly never pegged myself as a Splatling main, but here I am.
Maybe there's some more interesting weapons in next week's update.

I play flingza actually. Not just for the tenta missles, I like how it's a hybrid of a splat and dynamo roller and the long and short range options let me play adaptively, and yes, I do miss the suction bomb.
Looking forward to seeing the kit and flicks for the big swig roller too when it comes in December.

I have to make a confession. As soon as Tenta Missles’ cooldown got nerfed, I slowly stopped using Flingza. And Big Swig is fun, but is cursed with a kit that has a fun sub weapon (in my opinion) and a poopy-garbage-cheeks-low-tier-game-throwing special that only outclasses Reefslider, and not by a long shot. Even if it gets a new kit, I can’t hide behind a Spash Wall without not having a special. Good thing I got into Dualies long before even touching Rollers.

I used to main tri stringer because I used it for the whole splatfest world premiere and I was honestly pretty good with it. Then the full game comes out and I'm suddenly terrible with it.
This was me! I kept going with it though and my aim has steadily been improving and i can now reliably kill at a distance. It's actually pretty great for Splat zones in my experience because you can deny a lot of territory with the wail from the mid range and run around to empty areas splatting the zone without anyone paying too much attention to you at relatively low risk (unless someone has tentas or comes at you with a stamper). Just OK in most other ranked modes though, but it is a great support class for turf war especially.

realistically it’s not bad, there’s a lot of pro players who preform great with it. but for most people, it’s a very odd and difficult special to use, where often times people just forget to even use it
personally I love zipcaster on splatana stamper
Ideally they want you to get close with it and do the one-hit ko with it
As a REEF LUX 450 main I can attest that what was demonstrated is true and it's funny. Although I use the tenta missiles start of every match, I use em in combination of pressure and free marker of my opponents location and take a few podshots at them if not that I tend to corner them and just spam some shots at them unless they're using something that splats fast such as the splatana or blasters
it's like a quiffer but paints well. Quiffer mains often use this in turf wars or splat zones. I often use it in turf war for the paint efficiency.
I tried and bought the weapon just before the most recent Splatfest and enjoyed it cause I felt like I had an actual strategy

Whenever I play undercover I always imagine the look on peoples face whenever I win or splat a lot, the rest of the time I’m dying but that small portion of wins are euphoric
I'm a normal roller main, and you got everything down except for the panic bubble part (for me). I could see this being a problem with other roller mains, but roller is a complete different weapon with the bubbler, as well as the new mobility they added, so I was able to adapt pretty easily to the new special.

I'm almost done getting the 5 stars for sploosh but, I love the ultra stamp special. I still forget that I can just yeet the stamp and have been wrecked by it sometimes lol.
As a Octobrush main, the 1st and 3rd reasons are exact. Suction Bomb is good but I would love to use inkjet or auto bomb. Maybe even booya bomb because this flank kit isn't very versatile for all modes.

As someone who mains both the Inkbrush AND Octobrush (Octobrush more than Inkbrush), it’s 100% true. If they have another brush player in the other team, I make it my life’s mission to annoy the heck out of them. Even if they don’t have a brush player I try my best to annoy the heck out of them too. And yes, I also want more brushes. The only thing is I’m terrified of Anarchy and as of right now is too scared to play Clam Blitz but I do like to double around behind enemy lines and splat them.
As an Aerospray and Splat Roller main, I didn't feel like getting called out like that today. For Splat Dualies, you should have added something relating to Splatoon 2 because box art.

I tend to swap between Krak-On Roller, Vanilla Slosher, Dapple Dualies, Nautilus 47, and Splatana Stamper.
I do agree that Dapples should have a better kit, its current one is more for a support playstyle which doesn't fit Dualies all that well imo. I liked the Enperry Dapples in 2 very much, Toxic Mist and Inkstorm were a great combo to sus out enemies and put the pressure on
As a flignza main (I promise it’s not just for missile spam pls don’t hate me), that’s pretty accurate, I wish we still had a sub that is actually somewhat useful, I always forget we don’t have a sub that we throw. I relate to some parts of all the rollers really. Great video!
Aerospray: you don't play ranked a lot, but you are the only one that actually focuses on turf in turf war, alongside few reef-lux players and the very rare explosher. You actively try to avoid combat, while even reef-lux will try to engage (and usually fail). You think different weapons having different amounts of health would be healthy for the game and you yourself would want to be the tankiest. If you are crazy enough you might use it in splat zones

I play 96 Gal a lot. For me it’s like a blaster combined with a splattershot with the range of a charger. I honestly don’t use the secondary that often so Sprinkler is actually my favorite thing. Not used for combat, just ink coverage and defense.
1:14 squeezer main here. known it was a champagne bottle since the design got revealed in splatoon 2 and playing it doesn't hurt my hands at all, you just have to mash at a decently fast but steady pace and not like a lunatic

I'm a fairly new player, but I'm loving my Carbon Roller. I always use the Zipcaster to get to the enemy base and mess up their base before it jumps be back (or I get splat) I almost always get a gold medal for enemy turf because of it :P
For some reason on a tier list I’ve seen on the internet it ranked as the worst weapon but honestly after dynamo rollers the most roller I see is carbon roller players.

I main the reef-lux for stages that have a huge starting areas in splat zones, use either the Zapper for the NEStalgia or the Hydra splatling depending of the existence of some "backrow" areas
