I had pink eye for Splatoon 2 and that was too spot on. I put on whatever outfit I thought looked cute that day and I had no interest in what abilities, food and drinks did. Because I got 3 at launch I thought I might as well learn wtf this is and it made such a huge difference in my gameplay 😂. Now I have white eyes for 3 and that one is not accurate I play only open and salmon run and don’t care about ranking up.

My outfits are still cute for sure but because I know what they’re doing now I have to think about what outfit and abilities work best for which game mode I’m playing or weapon I’m using. I always change my eye color depending on the outfit I'm wearing or the mood I'm in. But when I first began to play, I chose the pink/green eyes and I have to say it's somewhat accurate 💀💀

i’m a teal eye player and it was mostly true. I absolutely crave splatoon lore and even told a friend who knows nothing about splatoon, so much about it, and they were obviously confused 💀
I use black eyes because it always blends well with the Retro BluFocals. There's no eye color that will match the ink color automatically, so I use that gear to replicate that effect.

As a Purple-Eyed player, I can only really agree with being unable to control my anger to some extent. It depends on how many matches I lose in a row. My breaking point, being at around 8-10 matches lost in a row.
I chose purple mainly because I am a purple/violet lover (heck, I made an entire character revolving around the color purple and named him "Vio"). But, if I was to fit how you described players by their eye color, I would most likely fit green eyes.

As a purple-eyed player, half of that used to be correct-- I raged a LOT at the game. But I do think Splatoon 3 is superior, probably BECAUSE it helped me stop raging. Weirdly enough, being able to interact with other players in the lobby can calm me down, even after a loss. It's hard to rage at other players when you're too busy squid partying with them in the lobby lmao-
For the Yellow and Orange i'd say you are fully accurate, although personally i don't use Splatanas as often, i just change it up to whatever weapon feels fun to use, other than that, you nailed it. So good job dude

As an Orange & blue player I do say that the gun part is true sometimes, but I do have a massive addiction to playing the story modes in both 2 & 3, its quite accurate.

As a orange and blue eyes user, the story mode part is very accurate 💀
i use the purple eyes and i actually prefer 3, lol. the graphics are absolutely stunning and there's a lot more to do i feel. not only that but ive always been an inkbrush main. only reason i just have purple cause it's my favorite color

As someone who uses blue pupils for looks and blames my teammates for every single match - this is somewhat accurate.
I have the olive eyes and am a roller main and I do blame my teammates a lot except it mostly actually is my teammates fault cause a lot of matches I get stuck with players who act like the three stooges and not know what they’re doing. I’m just like “WTF are you people doing?!” and other times players be acting like idiots and start partying for no reason. I had a match nearly lost because of that partying crap, thankfully I somehow turned the tables and gave my team a win. I am def a good player, not a pro tho, but good enough that I can splat plenty and win matches if I can get by with my roller.

Tbh I find black and brown eyes interesting looking, they aren’t used as much on player characters. I use the olive eyes, main rollers, blame my teammates cause I get stuck on stooge teams, I do draw a lot so the art thing he said is accurate tho I never played Splat 1, but got the DLC so I do use Inkopolis Plaza as my main hub[[Splatsville is too big! I get lost sometimes! 😢😂]].

I am a teal eye colour. Although I wouldn’t say I know all the lore. I do enjoy reading and learning it. Actually the reason why I picked teal colour was because that’s what I picked in Splatoon 2 and I wanted my Original Character Olivia to also be in Splatoon 3

Orange and blue here. The only thing you were right about was me being a splatling main, specifically the ballpoint. My amiibo collection is entirely legit, and completing the story mode was one of the first things I did.
Yeah, same here except for the splatling main. I main carbon deco and brushes, all the amiibo I have are legit, and I didn't touch anything outside of regular turf war until I was done with the story. None of it is right 😔
Likewise, the only thing that's somewhat right is the charger bit, but it was more like "i'm bad at chargers" than "chargers are bad". Currently tho i'm using the blue pupils rn at it's at least more accurate :')
Sigh yeah they were only 1 correct for me too, except it was the amiibo thing (granted it's bc animal crossing but shhh). I main rollers and bloblobber and I usually get super into the lore of single player in most games.
I have brown eyes, and my aim is fantastic especially my tri zooka directs. I made the top 5% of big run in the first half hour of the event. I do not approve of this slander, ha ha.
I will say that for other people who have the Blue Pupils that is correct but for me who has them, I'm chill while mostly playing Anarchy for the Catalog and Main Clash Blaster.
And yes ik some people are gonna say that Clash Blaster is bad or oh it's so easy to play Tower Control with a Blaster. But tbh I dont really mind what people say about it or anything else in Splatoon 3 for that matter.
I just play it for the fun, Weather it's normal Turf, Anarchy, Salmon run, Splatfest, Big Run, or Challenge, I am one of the most chill person you will ever meet in Splatoon.

I’ve been using cyan and orange since Splatoon 3 came out and I am indeed a streamer (streamed Side Order last week) and I own every single Splatoon Amiibo and most of them are still boxed. All my games are physical and I have a big row of them on the shelf.
So I had to check which color eyes I have and apparently it's the pink and green. I main the Splat Dualies mostly, but the other parts are true! Handheld mode for life, plus I absolutely love switching weapons constantly to try them out, though the Splat Dualies will always be the most comfortable for me
As a blue-pupilled player, shooter privilege is definitely real, that’s why I main shooters! Nintendo isn’t nerfing them enough so I’m going to keep playing them because it makes every match free!

As a teal eyes player (or as I call it, blue-gray), very accurate. I've only played Splatoon 3 but yeah. I was legitimately just reading the Splatoon wiki for lore a bit earlier. 😅 I chose em cause my irl eyes are blue-gray, but I feel called out. Okay I'm convinced this guy has cameras on me because I use tan eyes and literally all of what he said was correct
I go with blue pupils purely because the Iris more close matches my irl eye colour. As for how it matches me I play shooters as a secondary weapon class (specifically splattershots due to the hero shot replica for completing single player), but I normally will play either of the stringers so that part doesn’t fit me amazingly. And as for blaming my team for losing I only do that in splatfests because it so often feels like my teammates are intentionally throwing either by inking almost nothing when they have a heavy inking weapon or letting me get killed repeatedly by a hydra splatling despite them having an E-litre scope making it their job to cover the rest of their team especially from other long range weapon types and instead getting the lowest splat count on the team. Like when I splat the hydra splatling with my reeflux more times than you splat anyone on the enemy team while you are playing e litre it feels like you are throwing. Really though it’s only frustrating because it lowers my power level which increases the number of teammates I get like that which due to me liking to play more supportively only lowers my power level more which in the end forces me to swap to a splattershot because that’s the only way I can actually carry my team at low power levels and I don’t get to have fun playing the weapons I like more.
So during splatfests it’s super accurate any other time not so much.
As a pink eyed player, this is extremely accurate - no skill just aesthetic
Been a yellow eye player since all my friends had purple in sploon2. Felt very complimented. I'm really only a s+1 or 2 player - mostly cause I can't play that much and it feels bad to have rank reset before I'm done climbing. I haven't messed with x yet but it should be fun. I guess that was relatively accurate even if I wouldn't really call myself a great player.

As a real turned purple+green player, I can confirm salmon run and lore are some of my favorite parts of the game. I'm also stuck in S rank with like -1400 points despite having played since 1 released

They claim that blasters are not cheap, and that there is, indeed, skill involved, and they use literally every weapon in the game, round after round!😅 How could something be so accurate, yet so scary? 😭
Also, I am a blue-pupil user, so the part where you said that they blame their teammates.. uhh... totally not me, heh... 😶🌫 Alright, fine! I do actually accuse my teammates of doing nothing to help, but it's kind of true... I always have new, impulsive, or oblivious-to-their-surroundings type of players on my team, and some of them only ink the little miniscule specks of uninked turf, and immediately die when someone is attacking them. 🤣 Most of the time, I'm the only one on my team out in the open, which causes all the other teammates on the other side to target me the whole round (it is especially difficult when you are a REEFLUX-450 main). 😥 I'm so sorry for ranting here in a huge monologue! Funny enough. I have the purple eyes but I bought Splatoon 2 AFTER I finished Splatoon 3's story.... while I personally like 3 more I definitely find it funny.
