I have the IGLA on my Ram. Can’t put that thing in neutral without putting my PIN code in. I also have the TAG tracker on it as well. If they somehow get by IGLA (which they won’t) I call TAG and the police and the send out a signal to pin point exactly where my truck is. Honestly though anything you can do mess with these theives is a plus. We all work to damn hard for what we have for these low life’s to take it from us.
This guy just installed cumpustar in my truck. This man is a freak of nature. He is like a walking encyclopedia. No cap. He knows every damn thing about every damn thing in the car security world. He is an awesome guy. He will not bullshit you. His work and tech guys are the best of the best. It doesn't matter if you have a 100,000 dollar vehicle or 5000 $ He can secure it. I parked my TRX at Walmart. My wife went inside and I sat in the back while she was in there. About 8-10 people walked by and looked around my truck with two of them trying to see if the door was unlocked. Idiots.
Lol that's wild. Happens to me in My Audi Q5 all the time too. Even at gas stations people walk up and pull on the handle .

I'm in Ohio.. My Challenger 1320 was just stolen out of my drive at 345am on Sunday 03/10/24. Rolled over 2 neighbors lawns 5ft in from their front doors, broke the drivers window, popped the trans, and had another vehicle push it across my and my neighbors front yard.
Looking like it's a total loss, and looking into multiple options and ways to prevent on the next one. This is one learning experience not going to be easy the next time.

Came out to my vehicle being stolen and driven off while my Compustar 2WQ900AS was going off. Police were able to locate vehicle within 30 minutes cause of the trackers I installed into them and I was able to recover the vehicle before they were able to strip it

@@AUDIOCAT starter kill e-relay and can bus from Compustar or separate indie unit? Or did installer not do it correctly because CSX9900 has starter E-kill.
Sounds like you only have the compustar alarm. If you had an igla they wouldn't have been able to drive it away in the first place. A combination of both is ideal.
I got the compustar and got notification that my car was being broken into. They were unable to get it started and ran off as I ran to my car with my concealed carry weapon
He's telling the truth i have that same system they tried to get my Hellcat when my girl drove it to work they tried to program a key they tried 3 times had prints on the door and glass but couldn't it alerted me my car was in florida and I was in California and let me know.😮

The IGLA does NOT allow you to put transmission in neutral for the TRX. Also as a side note, your transmission is locked in park (regardless of where the shift is in) and your brakes are engaged. So, i wanted to clarify some erroneous information here.
Yes but if they flat bed it what do you got nothing igla is great no doubt but the extras from compustar make it better in my opinion plus you know what is going on
You need compustar to let you know when someone is trying to break in , that’s when you walk out with an ar

That’s how they stole my first mopar. Luckily i got it back wrecked but it wasn’t totaled out so all was fixed with OEM Mopar Parts

My two cars are manual transmission then i have 2 kill switch , one to ignition and the other to the fuel pump

Can you explain the kill switch part with Compustar? How does it compare with IGLA? I understand that these are different technologies, but functionality wise are they comparable? I just wanted to make sure that I am not misunderstanding with arming the alarm and factory key being away from vehicle making it not able to start, as opposed to the actual kill function.

In the theft videos, i keep seeing them go under the hood through the grill and cut the horn so they can set off the alarm without an audible alert. Would a factory manual kill switch, locked out key fobs and a secondary horn tied in with the factory security system do the job regardless of keys getting copied???
Well the kill switch is a plus but if you don't know they in Your car they might have enough time to find it ir tow it live alerts is best
Looks like the main reason u choose compustar over igla is the shock sensor and alarm but im reading igla has that as well???

Someone told me this :
As far as using oem key, I do have the option to let the oem key control the compustar, but I won't do that due to relay attacks. A relay attack is where a thief comes up to your house and uses an antenna to snatch the keys rf frequency. They then relay that frequency to another person at the vehicle to unlock and start the car. If the oem key controls the compustar as well, then the compustar thinks your key properly disarmed the compustar and will not go off.

My understanding is that you need the compustar remote to disable the alarm and kill switch. You stll need the factory fob to start the vehicle. Compustar makes a cool accessory called the locker where you can leave your factory fob in the car and it can be stolen or copied@@killuv811
I have the t13 pro compustar. The oem key does not control the compustar remote. It is only needed to start the car. So basically once the compustar is armed, your oem CANNOT disarm the system. Once disarmed your oem key takes over the car at this point. So you need your orm key to start it. If they relay attack your oem signal it's useless. Cause you arm your car with compustar and when they open the door the compustar and system goes off and it's LOUD. Plus it's an built in killswitch with the t13 or t12 compustar. So if you left your compustar disarmed for some reason. And use your factory to lock it. If they get in and try to start it. Nope cause the killswitch is still armed. Great system I just put my oem in a faraday pouch I'm good. You can't go wrong with both igla and compustar together.

Not trying to be a smart ass. This is a sincere question. If Compustar can prevent your vehicle from being stolen, using shock sensors, glass break sensors, blocked ignition, locked transmission, etc. etc. etc......why would you need a GPS function ? If it can't be stolen, why the GPS ?

Igla is better.. they tried to steal my power wagon, and all my keys were erased leaving me stranded. I was blessed they couldn’t take it. It had to be towed to the dealership because the keys were erased.
If you had a comustatr you would habe stop them from the jump your phone would have told you everything and also stopped them

@@xenoziel from every installer I've been to say they have much better support to installers & easier to install have support for newer vehicles & they are keeping up newer technologies & etc. From me my opinion it's better because they have a rolling pin so nobody can just steal your remote signal & copy it like they can with viper many of the other companies. Compustar systems come with glass break, shock sensor, & tilt sensor included in almost all of their systems. Alot of Viper systems come with only like shock sensor & you have to add on all the other sensors & the price climbs up quickly.
