I had a Viper system back on a Benz when they were popular and was always getting "looks" when I'd chirp it (arm it) in downtown parking garages in Miami. I hope the people using this system are also strapped and trained, cause shit can go south really quick. Other than that, I'd definitely get this if I wanted to have another high-stakes vehicle (I drive a shitbox now for anonymity).

Does this have a pin code feature, inability to clone or create a new fob?
I like the ones that seem to have a pin and it’s locked but can still use the fob to turn on remote start. Cept the one I was looking at doesn’t prevent their from creating their own fob on the spot .
So it stops key cloning , does the killswitch stop making new keys?
I understand the concept of this car alarm system, it seems to be VERY costly with the amount of labor that goes into the custom install. But at its core it basically notifies YOU that something is up with the car. So the question is, do you call the Police or do you confront the thief's? If you call the Police will they be there on time to catch the crooks in the act? Probably not, so is it worth risking your life to save your car? I say absolutely not, if someone wants my car that bad and I have done my due diligence to secure my car with what the manufacture has provide then they can have it. My insurance rates are high, but I have full replacement cost so if my car gest jacked, I simply get another one and live another day.
Good good. I have the compustar t13 with drone. Thought about adding the IGLA, but I just turned off passive entry in the uconnect settings. So my key fob doesn't transmit signal too the car.

I had a T13 Pro, installed in Mississippi, before my car was shipped to me in Bahrain. The installer was not familiar with some of the features included with the system. My drone worked, until the battery died while the car was in the shipping container, and now it no longer works.... I'd like to talk to you, personally and see if you could answer a few questions for me. I called you once before, earlier last year, not sure if you remember that call or not.. but I still follow your channel, and watch. Even recommend coworkers to you.

Not true, any Professional Car Thief can still drive away in it. However, that extra minute can be a difference maker in being caught or not. Pros have it timed and know when to strike.

Awesome video! I have an igla and drone. Is there any way to do a partial install of the compustar to monitor glass breaks & shock sensors and the alarm go off?? Not a fan of a secondary key fob with the compustar.

to confirm: do you still need your oem keyfob on you for keyless entry & start the car? the compustar remote cant handle all that? i just wouldnt wanna carry 2 remotes on me. thanks
The compustar remote turns into your main key fob so no you don’t need your OEM key fob. And the frequency signal on the compustar key fob is encrypted and cannot be cloned or reprogrammed in case of a relay attack
You can tag to your factory fob to run it but it defeated the purpose to have a unit and the comustart Handel's all the oem keyless and Remote start

That is nice, now how about shock sensors as your vehicle has been hit by another vehicle causing minor damage. Darn, my car bumper just ran across their bumper and gouged up the paint job. I am leaving ... hit and run situation. The Estimate for minor repair is $1,610 and no one to pin the blame on. Viper has its flaws just as much as CompuStar. Dashcam does little good in the winter season as the car is blanketed/covered with snow. Other people love denting, scratching, and causing havoc to your beautiful car and just don't care how much it is going to cost you. They left and nobody saw and no security cameras to catch it. Car Security with motion and shock sensing that triggers the horn and sends a notification to your phone or Remote Control LTE device. For privacy and confidentiality is the only reason you could not show us in the video where you installed and altered connection points for the alarm. There are no secrets, a Professional Car Thief has all the tools and advantages of taking your car if they want it unless parked behind locked gates and in the garage. Then there is carjacking at gunpoint or pulling you out of the car seat and then driving off. A shame that you buy a system and have to get a paid subscription to use it. Nothing like being Ripoff on a legal Scam.
It has shock, tilt, glass, and motion sensors included. Subscription is only required for drone monitoring. Most of the same major features also pump to the fob after install
I understand your point but as tech for 30 years plus we don't do standard installs plus woth the extra level of security on phone control you know anything going on with car instantly. Car jacking is also covered with car jack mode and GPS tracking

There are no secrets even when the installation video is excluded from your vehicle. A car is a car and where anything is placed can easily be found because the dimension of your car is still a car. To make it difficult, get yourself a digital safe installed in the glove box and have it welded to the firewall. Unfortunately, any Professional Thief with help can tow your vehicle away before the alarm is triggered. GPS won't help as they'll be using a jammer and disconnecting battery power to all your vehicle's circuits. Just think how fast Airbags can inflate, your vehicle can be raised off the ground and hauled away in under 4 minutes. Dashcam is okay but they miss a lot of things as they have Blind Spots and the camera is so easy to blind using Spray Paint. Forget a dashcam, have security cameras around your home/ residency. The best place to park your vehicle is in the garage with the door down. Out of Sight, Out of Mind. Maybe keep a dog in the garage. Catalytic Converter ... several protective methods but why make a mess under the car, paint the ends, and have it etched/engraved. Deterrent a theft, make it difficult for them to sell or be reused and they may decide not to take it. Carjacking made simple class 101. Advanced class 202. Pro class 427. Thieves can use small drones to investigate before they strike.
