I wonder is it necessary for Dodge to put the orange neutral strap in the console. Seems like that’s what makes it so easy to put the car into neutral and just roll it away.

so what's to stop someone with tech to copy and make a dummy fob for the car and the alarm then disarming this? what's the 2FA to not have that happen? getting a text or notice your cars unlocked etc don't matter like you're going to engage people stealing it putting you at risk?
My dodge charger recently got broken into exactly how you said, they broke the vent went on my rear door & popped open the lock & my alarm & horn doesn’t work.

Bruh, I’m kind of pissed off! When I came to get my alarm installed why wasn’t this presented to me instead of the viper alarm. No other options was explained at all. My Mango Orange 392 is fresh as hell. Came in a couple of times. 🤦🏾♂️ spent $900. No suggestions of how to protect my ride better.

Yes
it’s a shame that you have to do this. First, insure through Chubb, no I’m not connected. You pick the value, not the insurance company. Second, do what this guy is telling you.
Third, Install a fake obd and relocate the real one. Wire it up hot and ground every other wire so when they plug into it it might blow their device. Wire it with 12ga. straight to your battery with no fuse. If you want to get crazy wire it to a transformer and Jack the voltage. The only way mine can be taken is with a tow truck. My brakes are locked so the will need a flat bed or extra wheels.

Not using a fuse is a good way to burn your car to the ground. ALWAYS use a fuse or fusible link.
@@scottandrews4822 the fusible link is their device. It will have 2 hots going in. If it makes you feel better use a 30
