Key programming option deleted, Farady pouch for your key, Car Lock GPS tracker(not in the OBD port but hidden w pigtail to constant +12V source), Steering wheel lock, actual wheel/tire locks. Most of all, park in garage if you can.
Remote kill switch. Trackhawk
Sad what people have to do to get a peace of mind.
Go read reviews on those faraday pouches…they rarely work because they can’t in most cases be 100% sealed…I’d never trust one.
While I do not drive a Dodge, I really like your multi-layered approach to car security and your many tips.
You can steal my Trackhawk but I'm coming with you
The Z Automotive Tazer has Pin Lock now. I have a 2020 Chrysler 300, if you tried to start my car, you have 20 seconds to put in the secret Pin on the Steering Wheel. If you guess wrong, put it in drive or do nothing and the 20 seconds counts down the Brakes lock and all of the exterior lights flash. No one can drive my car but me.
I was looking into that PIN code from another company . They provide a feature if you get car jacked just get out the car and the car will stall after driving off and lock itself down
@@WhiteHornet392 ya the Tazer does that as well. You have to have the key on you, once it leaves the car you have to put the PIN back in to put it in drive or it will lock the breaks down and flash the lights.
Just bought a Charger. Going to definitely be working on adding all of these to my auto. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for this information. I will definitely buy the steering wheel lock and the shifter lock this week 👍
Thank you for all the options available!👍
Regarding Apple air tags, don’t forget to remove the speaker from the air tag. If the thief has an iPhone he’s notified there’s a tracking device onboard.
arguably better to let them know its there and simply hide it well
they could abandon the steal instead of risking the time to find it or getting tracked
Thanks for the tips I’ll be getting that steering wheel lock.. I use the Auto Lock brake/Clutch locking device
A friend of mine caught some one trying to steal his '89 fire bird he told me that he snuck up behind the prep and clocked the thief in the back of the head with a 2x4 . I told him he did the right thing but 1 day a thief will try to steal mopar from the wrong person and will end up with some lead . It has happened before and I had no sympathy for the thief
Thanks bud my neighbor had a NICE Dodge Charger and it got stolen on a business trip right in front of the motel front desk with cameras using the methods you said. Thanks for the tip I'll pass this video onto my neighbor. Best wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Add shock sensor and glass sensor to OEM alarm . Add a Carlock and Tazer(pin access and anti carjack).
Explain please the tazer pin
Pulling the fuel ignition fuse or installing the old fashioned way is to install a kill switch like you mentioned. I'd add another layer of security and install a GPS device, like you mentioned some fancy wheel locks, etc. Any deterrent will make a thief not take your ride or wheels. Good tips bro like that last one!👍
Great idea!
Great video as a woman and owner of a challenger I needed this info
Wow, thank you for the precautionary tips about securing your Mopar. I wish I have a Mopar, the best I got for myself is a Ram 3500 Limited Dually HO Diesel...lol. Keep it comin', sir.🤠
I have a switch that prevents the car from turning on at all. Turn the key all you want. Nothing will happen. Also I drive a manual, not many people can drive those
7.62x39 also solves thieves. a bit messy but works

Car lock- killer Idea !!
No more Joy rides anti-theft device manufacturer in Detroit Michigan videos on RUclips covering the gas pedal and locking the brake pedal no one can drive your car you have the choice of lock combination lock if you have kids you don't want to drive your car
I like the classic method on my truck remove key keep it unlocked and put a kilswitch on it hook the starter up by it’s self so when they press it all it does is keep trying they won’t know the kill switch is in the wheel well behind the plastic
Great video! We really appreciate the shout out!!!
Just splice into the obd port and make a t harness with another obd port and leave the stock one usable at the same time put the other obd under the console or under the hood!
22 got a new alarm got a 22
Garages are pretty easy. They have the manual emergency release within reach of the door. Surprisingly my auto insurance doesn’t reduce your cost for aftermarket security systems, but they do for the useless factory one.
Good tips for any car
I don’t care if you a professional thief. You add all these devices nobody stealing that car in under 10 minutes. Because they not prepared for 6 obstacles 😂. I would recommend the viper remote kill switch system over the manual as well. Great video.
Or ghostlock remote kill switch with a analog killswitch to a different system coil packs also don't like to have no power just saying...
Same tatto except arm lol I got a stick Bonnie knows how to drive now adays and a huge lock on pedal
I bought a Club when my Kia got stolen (thanks, TikTok), and its presence will be enough to deter teenagers. But this! This is a useful gadget. Immobilizes the lock AND makes a racket. Thank you for this.
Got a remote killswitch too, because by God, if you're going to take what's mine, you are going to WORK for it

Bought the Vehckom steering wheel lock based on this video for my 2022 Charger Scat Pack. Honestly, I am surprised by how much play there is in the steering wheel once it is on and secured. This is due to the shape of the dashboard. The plate on the extended arm is flat, and the Charger dash is quite convex. Am I missing something here?
You can easily stop all car thefts.
Pull the fuel pump fuse and starter fuse. Even disconnect the battery or remove it.
And if have a old manual key anot blue tooth key get a steering colum sleeve lock that covers the steering column in metal clamp.
And don't forget to get catalytic converter anti theft devices
They cut wheel locks
Destroyer 1320 plate is extremely thin, there’s a place in river grove, IL S…. &…A autosound that sell a plate that is thicker, the steering wheel can be cut even with your lock, IGLA pincode system puts an end to easily stealing any SRT
Agreed. I found a steel "box" (can't remember the seller) the covers the entire area. Makes prying or cutting almost impossible. It wasn't difficult to find on a Google search.
So i dont have a dodge, i have a 80s classic car but im guessing this is universal. Im looking at installing 5 kill switches, installing 2 seperate alarms( maybe one is where if you try and start a car without flipping a kill switch the alarm goes off from someone in the seat?) Some kind of fuel cutoff? Pulling the ignition fuse? And takimg the steering wheel off and carrying it in my backpack or have it in my house. Am i wasting my time doing this? Ive even thought abt a code unlocker hidden somwwhere like mad max 😅 aswell but idk if thats even possible.
GOOD INFO LOL.
Good call... .I did the Viper system as well... just touch my tires and she wakes up!
Wow very nice
What is the steering wheel lock made of? The material makes all the difference.
Got the Ravelco installed in my Silverado a little pricy at $650 but well worth it.
Not anymore. Sorry need to spend more.
Sooo this is one long ass commercial for multiple channels and products🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 maaan you got me...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Super dark tint is illegal in more than a few states, anyway.
Cant agree at all on the dark tint 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Alot of times the dark tint keeps them guessing especially when you're in & out of your car alot. They become hesitant to even approach.
I didn’t think people would steal a dodge. J/J (I know, everybody’s got a vibe 👍). these are all great points. However, Anything that’s remote and sends a signal can get hacked.
My suggestion is to use mechanical switches. I put a switch in between the battery in my fuel pump. It was easy to do and I can hide it anywhere ( not under the dash.. that’s the first place they look). they won’t mess with anything too long. O fuel…no go 🤷♂️.
I like the AirPod idea and it wouldn’t hurt.
Y’all be careful out there ….god bless
….. a buddy of mine did the same thing I did, but he hid it a different place…. He got real creative. I don’t know how he did it, but he hooked a switch to the seatbelt latch in the back. 🤔 he doesn’t drive the truck all the time but when he does, he just connects the seatbelt in the back and it will start. I thought it was kind of clever.
Well, I hope the guy who wants to joy ride with your friend's vehicle will not bring a couple of buddies with him who are safety freak. they will be putting those set belts on and figure out the solution pretty quickly...lol.@@jeffhamann4350
Multiple devices definitely lengthen their time IN the car. Each device will puss them off more and more to the point that they will abandon their attempt. Good video man.
Every RUclips tutorial on installing a kill switch always splices it in right behind the start stop button. The first place anyone would look and reconnect the factory wires. I’d run bare uninsulated wire through the seat and wire it through a switch to a 750,000volt stun gun. When the seat feels weight to activate airbags it sends 750,000 volts through whatever body parts are touching the seat. Be prepared to clean some feces, or add to the claim they stole your seat in addition to breaking your window.
😂😂😂😂😂
Hey it's not perfect, but I've got a manual. That's a pretty decent anti-theft device there. Honestly, it's too bad we're at this point in the USA where we can't keep our belongings safe
What do you think about a hard/hidden switch wired into #27 in the fuse box, starter relay
That can also work , let me know the outcome if you get it done 👍🏻
@@WhiteHornet392 Will do. Also what about three 12-position mini rotary switches wired in series, so even if they find the hidden switch panel they have to crack it like a safe (good luck)
what activates the alarm??
Do you know if your able to add an alarm system and just use the alarm features so you can still have the original key fob to use remote start with
Yes the factory key fob will still remote start your car 👍🏻
That beast of a beard tho
What if you drive a standard? Had a guy follow me home and pulled an automatic on me. Gave him the finger. Cursed him out and drove off.
They have found way to see what’s in peoples garrage they will ride In the middle of the night stop infront of a house and use a signal jammer they can open and close your garrage sorta like a garrage clicker if they see you have a mopar the one they want they will sneak in after a while if you don’t come out then get in your car programm it then drive off I know a few cops that has happend and they caught a guy
Wtf
You didn’t list the most important tip of all: get the RF lockout so a new key can’t be programmed at your port. That’s how 95% of these cars are stolen.
It’s a free option at any dodge dealer.
I concur and got mine done. Thieves tried to steal my scat and couldn’t get it started because of that system from the dealer.
Can they do back to 2017 Challengers?
What is the RF lockout?
Is it different from the oem "immobilizer"?
@@budlanctot3060 Your car comes with 4 computer-key slots. 2 of them are assigned to your key fobs, the other two are left "blank". Why? If you ever lose your fob(s), the dealer can make you up to 2 more.
The RF lockout simply deletes those 2 open slots. Now, only your 2 fobs will work. The downside, if you ever lose your fobs, the dealer has to install a whole new pcm and can run up to $400 bucks plus labor.
But seriously, have you ever lost both of your car keys? I feel it's a worthy option considering how easy it is for thieves to program their own key right in your car.
@larrygarms7230 very interesting. Ok, so could you just have 2 originals and 2 spares, then there is no more room for a spare made by potential thieves?
You have to tow mine to steal it. Not about to broad cast them. They cannot be defeated.
The fob bag is probably the cheapest and most overlooked think people should be doing. Aside from alarm if you don't have a 23.
They are $10 from Amazon and you get 2! First thing I bought
@Brandon Hansen I got two on sale for $7.99 on Amazon. Works great!
@@djknockinbeats5092 there ya go!
Now i heard they have remote power cutter so the car will have no power.
Kill switch or gps tracking
What I don’t get is that you still have to lock the car and out out a signal so ? What good is the pouch unless puts out a constant signal to car ?
Your key fob is always putting out a signal , 24/7 even when the car is locked 👍🏻
@@WhiteHornet392 ok I reslly need this then
I use a faraday bag. I open it up when next to the car to get in and start it. Keep it closed after it is started.
Great video good tips
Thief is a thief, doesn't matter how hard you try they will break it loose. They won't cut 3 pieces part like you mentioned actually just cut the retractable part, it seems the weakest link to me. The thing that will stop them from stealing is pretty easy, just put a sign on your dashboard " I will chopped your hands off please think twice" this message approved by the law abiding citizen.✌️
Well here’s what I did boys and girls. I had a 2k 5.9rt that kept getting broken into. I bought a spare garage door opener and pulled it out of the case. Then once I had it programmed to open and close the door I wired it to the glove box light switch. Any time I left in the morning I simply had to pop the glove box to close the garage door. When I came home in the evening, same thing open the glove box and open the door. One morning at 2am I’m rudely awakened by my garage door opening and run out with a flashlight and my pistol. I was able to recover the thief’s cell phone as well as a bunch of stuff stolen from my neighbor’s that he had dropped while running away. The police said they recovered someone’s pants and shoes a block down covered in shit. I guess the trap scared it out of them.
The late model 22s and 2023s have updated car alarms. They come with the remote computer locked out. They also have motion, tilt and shock sensors from the factory. However I still think you should add extra precautions just for your own peace of mind.
are you sure the 22's have the updated compueter locked out... i just got a 22 scat pack are they not able to just plug in that tablet and duplicate a key anymore?
@JohnB Filmz I stated that it was late model 22s and 2023s. Earlier model that year didn't come from the factory with the upgrade, but you should be able to get the updated alarm from your local dealership. If you bought it brand new you should've received an email from Dodge about this.
@JohnB Filmz Good question though.
@@mike_johnson87 mine is a late model cause I’m thinking about putting a pin code system in it cause I like in a decently high crime area not where my house is but where like Walmart and stuff like that ect is. I just don’t know if I need to get this system or not cause it’s expensive and idk where to look around me to get it installed. It would be great if I didn’t have to get it at all😂
@JohnB Filmz ruclips.net/video/YbEFEKmYHPM/видео.html This is the man you need to reach out to. He helped to develop the pin code system that will make your car practically unable to steal. The system is a bit more than your average alarm system but how much is your peace of mind worth?🤔✌🏿🙏🏿 Stay blessed and be safe out there.

Easy pull the motor out everytime you park it somewhere they cant steal it if it dosnt have a engine in it lmao
Haha stupid
😂😂😂
Buy a manual transmission
tow it away in 2 mins
My friend all this nonsense. I’ve seen thieves get real elaborate and steal cars in broad daylight using tow truck with fake numbers. Literally wait till the owner goes into a building and have a look out follow them inside, and the tow truck will come and drag it way. At the end the day they’ll have no less than 3 vehicles
Tow truck drivers can't do that again if both legs and arms are broken
Stay home with a ring camera and a gun.😊😊
I'm sorry but your garage door will not stop me if I want it bad enough. But who am I telling.
Pool noodle on the string. You can’t fish the emergency release through the top of the door with that in it 🤔
You forgot # 9. Don't buy a Dodge

Please Don't record while driving.
It's a distraction making you more susceptible to an accident. You could hurt others, animals, yourself. You're not that desperate to record while driving.
One thing I seen from a co worker was this, he put a bottle of (AIDS MEDICINE) and a bottle of (CONTAGIOUS SKIN EATING BACTERIA) pill bottles on the seat and dash. At first I did not want to even sit or breathe in the car lol
