I have a question can you have multiple vehicles assigned in the compustar app ?

On the APP you can. As many cars as you want. I have 5 set up.
You will need a system on each as well as a subscription to each one.

A installer in my area just offered me this package, do you still need the factory key in your possession to start the vehicle.

You certainly need to still carry factory key.
Make sure installer is in the dealer locator. That is if you are installing IGLA as well.
To make sure you will get the correct latest Firmware possible.

How long do you have to wait to enter the pin code?

Just input your pincode.
Put wrong code, wait 4 seconds or so and try again.
