Congrats on finally getting that inspection. Hope that helps now with getting other loads. What a nice inspector also! You guys did great and passed! Stay safe and smart!
When I got in to trucking it was hotshot and I would watch videos on RUclips and those RUclips’s made it seem like dot was hell and what not. Came to find out dot inspections usually go pretty well if you doing everything the right way
I drive for the company you delivered to in St. Louis. I've been in that yard a million times and we have to do just like you did. Right over the curbs. That facility sucks to get in and out of.
In a way that still hurts you when you got that inspection because even if he didn't give you a ticket for that light that hit your CSA score cuz you got 15 days to turn that back in that you got that fixed. Go back and listen to what he said when he gave you that inspection report.
congrats on getting the passed inspection.. I hope it helps you get loads!!! as for the roadside inspections in MO..they are FAMOUS for them, especially along I70..stay safe!!
I’m retired now but I use to get inspected often. DOT would usually say we’re just using you for training our new guys because we know your employer has well maintained equipment. “oh gee thanks!”
Robert I can't stand it when your videos are over they go way to fast. Your the best out there. You make me want to come out of retirement and drive again. Be safe and God bless.
That clip of Lita sitting on the floor while the dog sleeps on her seat is great. You can tell so much about people by how they treat animals. You guys a good people.
Good video. You are quite humorous, I crack myself up sometimes too. The Crack about asking if ok to date your mom, hilarious. Something I would have said. Happy trails to Lita or Rita, not sure which.
Robert, the first thought I had when you said that you were being inspected was that now you have an DOT inspection to show the brokers. Safe travels truck driver.
One time a Sheriff near Great Falls Montana pulled me over. He said “I just want to use you to train this new guy on how to do semi inspections”. I was 15 minutes from my destination and I only had 20 minutes to get there after the inspection.
Well, at least you got that inspection out of the way. I'm about to get back OTR, but by time I do the blitz will be over. Dang, it always seems to work out that way!
You guys are making the best out of this and i respect that. You always stay professional and the inspection wasnt a big deal. Seems like there are very few good areas anymore to get good paying loads from.
If you've never ridden up inside the Gateway Arch in a little clanking/tilting egg car, I highly recommend it. Up close and personal, the arch is really amazing and beautiful.
As a driver I'm glad to see you handle that well.. we know DOT dont need a reason to pull us over and to stay clean so we can go on by our day without getting shutdown. A alot of dont play by the rules and ignore signs and get mad when we caught
Oh boy, you delivered to South St. Louis. You came out by the Union Station. I worked at 800 N. 12th between 1974 and 1979. I lived about 9 miles north in the County.
Wutz up guys,I just got a Level 1 this morning @ the scale house in Chowchilla California on the 99 northbound.I was all good & got me a new yellow sticker with that #4 on it.If you’re like yes sir no sir without an attitude it carries you a long way. That nationwide Blitz ain’t over.
If you knew you had a light out, why didnt you fix it so you wouldnt have to be embarrased by a wannabe truck inspector, especially on equipment that is so easy to reach. They used to call that pre tripping.
You need to cut Lita off the coffee, shes so talkative & bouncing around all the time 😂. Actually probably one of the quieter women around 😂 you guys make a great team. Keep it up, stay safe, Merry Christmas

I thought you did great on those turns.

I got nailed at a MODOT check station when they dipped my fuel tank and it had a slight tinge of red. Our fuel supplier had delivered fuel to a locomotive and his 200' fuel line put that much red fuel in our 1,000-gallon supply tank. MODOT let us go when the fuel company explained the accidental red fuel in our supply tank. One had to hold the dip sample up to the sunlight to see the slight red color. The fuel company pumped our supply tank and put new fuel in it. They had to put new fuel in it every 2 days due to our usage rate. It was just a pain in the caboose having to sit while the fuel problem was taken care of. MODOT would not even let us get some drinking water.
Hey Robert just FYI those pretty yellow flowers you were talking about are very poisinous for dogs so dont let them walk through or play in those fields, you guys are doing what's gotta be done. Hey Robert love the channel and your take no bs attitude. But a fun face I just learned and didn’t know if you guys know this yet???
