    Thanks Keith, I’m on day 10 CT. Was off for a couple of months and had the time of my life, felt so good. Then I had an accident and unfortunately relapsed.. been on it for a couple of months and felt miserable during that period, around 20g/day. This time I promised myself to never touch it again, I want to live a fulfilling life with my close ones. Whenever my brain tries to tell me ‘just try it one more time’, I go to your channel and find all the motivation I need. Thanks again brother, much love from overseas in Sweden.

    It’s day 6 for me. I still get cravings. You’re right, it’s a desire of comfort. I think a lot about the future how I’m going to handle the desire to take it again. I’m going to continue to reject taking it but I know I’m going to want to take it again. I have been into opiates for the past 23 years. Even when I was in the Army. I know it’s never going away. Just avoid it as much as possible and develop the good habits I had in the past, like you said. Thanks for the videos man. Really appreciate it.

      It might be possible to somebody that is either disciplined or doesn’t have that addictive personality. I’ll tell you this though, I think everybody can get addicted to a substance they like. We are in more control of our addictive behaviors than society would have you think.

    you will feel warm and fuzzy all day long, but in the meantime your demons will have you surrounded .. and if its been 2,3, 4, or more years, you WONT be same, you arent the same person as you were before, you gotta find yourself. you got off track...

    I’ve been off about a month now after using everyday for about 2 and a half years. I just finally realized inside through a lot of prayer and asking Jesus to use me for his will and to help me change for the better. I have always struggled with substance usage since I was a teenager (31 now). Not having anything to “look forward to” after work is tough. I came home today and just ate and listened to music. But the thoughts of man it would be nice to have even just a tiny scoop … idk if those thoughts ever go away. Kratom definitely kept me away from drinking. I think it’s the better of the 2 evils but it’s either I’m going to go the route of not being a slave to any substance anymore OR I’m gonna choose Kratom if I can’t seem to control myself. I used to be such a good boy before I hit my teens!!! I knew better too but I messed up! Divorced parents since I was nearly a baby may have had something to do with it but Idk I made all of these dumb decisions. Anyways Lord bless you man . I’ll comment back in a while in the future and let you know if I can continue to abstain

    Hey Keith I watched u from the beginning and quit with u last August... I was taking it everyday all day ...I haven't done it as good as you but still clean there's only been about 5 days in 6 months I screwed up but that's way better than everyday all day... U helped me so much at the beginning and I just wanna say thank you so much and I'm praying for u...Jesus saves u just gotta ask

    • @StrongKeithJ

      5 days in 6 months is huge! Especially if you were using all day everyday. Good job! Just think about what you really get from kratom. Do you get the desired feeling? Or is it masking something deeper? These are questions I ask myself regularly about not only kratom.
      In short, I think you’re on the right path! 🤜🤛

    This was great, brother, and so true. How long will it take? Well, physiologically it’ll take however long it needs to take for things to reach an equilibrium. The reality is though, we’ve spent a long time living in a fog. Rediscovering or just discovering what it means to be “yourself” is both the responsibility and joy of living free from chemical dependence. You can be whoever you want to be, and there isn’t some stupid plant that can stop you: so have fun finding yourself. Just don’t ask “how long” as though whether you stick with it or not depends on the answer you get. It’s all up to you if you’re in it for real.

    • @StrongKeithJ
      @StrongKeithJ  4 месяца назад

      Amen to that 🙏
      It really does depend on if you’re in it for real.

    I recommend lowering your dose over a 7-10 day period Instead of going cold turkey. You'll basically cut the withdrawals in half. I'm in the process of doing it right now. At first I tried lowering my dose in half and on the 2nd day I had bad withdrawals. During the 2nd night I couldn't get any sleep, I had restless legs, anxiety and diarrhea. After that night I decided to lower my dosage slowly over a 9 day period and it's been much easier. I'm not getting much sleep and I have no energy but it's only half as bad as going cold turkey. Basically it's like having the flu which is something everyone has dealt with. I don't recommend lowering your dosage over a 30 day period because most addicts will go back to their normal dosage within a couple of weeks. In my opinion 7-10 day's is the perfect time frame. I went cold turkey on suboxone and it felt like I was dying for several weeks so I learned my lesson. At the end of the day it's going to suck no matter what.

    • @StrongKeithJ
      @StrongKeithJ  4 месяца назад

      That exactly what I thought before I quit, this is going to suck anyway. I figured cold turkey was just the quickest. Any kind of tapering was going to drag it out in my opinion. Cold turkey is a lot rougher on your body.

    Damn it only took me a month from oz a day habit for years to feel normal. I feel bad for yall who be bummed a long time. Rly Kratom withdrawal only sucked for a few days then it was all legs n sleep which wasn’t that bad compared to being an addict.

    • @StrongKeithJ
      @StrongKeithJ  3 месяца назад +1

      I was at around 3 ounces a day brotha. Some days more. And kratom is definitely an addiction. You’re a kratom addict. It’s more mild than fentanyl or heroin, but still an addict. Withdrawal sucks, no matter how intense it is. It’s about getting over the addiction and living healthy. Not who had worse withdrawals.

      @@StrongKeithJ hardest drug I ever quit tbh. And yeah I only got to an oz a day and realized this was going to spiral fast even worse. And bro I said the withdrawal sucked and I feel bad for those it effects worse. I totally get we all have diff bodies and chemistry and shit. I speak bluntly but I am not putting anyone down. I have a homie that STILL has massive depression a year later. I hope my words aren’t coming off as an asshole because I’ve been addicted to more drugs than anyone I know man.
