Feeling all that. Im struggling to get off. Up to 3 packs of the 7 ohm. 14 mg each tablet . 3 a pack. I wake up so restless physically kicking and feel terrible without out. Im 10 years sober off herion and other narcotics and over 5 years sober from alcohol. I was told by an old freind this was an all natruel energy tablet used in place of coffee...6 months later man i cant stop.

You’re best bet is a clinic that deals with addicts. I went to one, and the appointments were free. They gave me prescriptions. I was only responsible for the cost of the prescriptions. Its weird how before you start doing drugs. You feel like you wanna feel better. Anthen when you start doing them for awhile you start wishing you felt the way you did before the drugs. Dont what you got untill its gone.

This is the truth. Don’t know what you got until it’s gone. Also, I didn’t realize that I didn’t need to feel great all the time. And the longer I go without kratom, I feel like I’m going back to baseline. I feel happy in my own skin.

In Thailand they have used Kratom for 100s years. There is a good reason they NEVER eat it, just brew or chew the leaves. 2 tablespoons is about 2 leaves/ tea bags. I drank for 20 months, 10 leaves/ day, so slightly more dosage than you, and just now quit- 5 days, after tapering 2 weeks down to 1 leaf/ day. Just a bit of muscle pain, thats it.

Yes for sure! I would suggest telling people you are close to. If you don’t have people who are close to you, go find some people at church. Get involved. Find a community. Tell them your goal. Tell the pastor, and other people. At the same time, start taking accountability and start working on bad behaviors. The first week or two of withdrawal, you will just be surviving. But after that, now you rebuild. Get some strength! The Bible is a place to go for this!

To preface, I had no good reason to use kratom aside from feeling lazy at work and wanting a boost in energy. My friend has gotten clean off fent using kratom so I know theres solid cases for it but I can tell he will struggle quitting kratom he ever tries. Dude I turned into a FEIND on kratom. After a few months I was at 8-12 (.5 gram) pills, 3 times a day. At the end I was terrified of running out. I didn’t realize it but I was feeling sicker and sicker as time went on because the withdrawal between doses got stronger as the doses got stronger. In the beginning I thought it was the miracle drug, it made me feel superhuman.. for about two weeks. Then it became just a struggle to feel normal. Praise God, I managed to make it through the withdrawals. If I ever slip and consider going back even for a second I remind myself of the days of searching my truck for lost pills between the seats so I could get the stabbing pain in my stomach to go away.

Ok my friend, been watching you since last year. Your recovery from kratom addiction is inspiring many of us. It is time for me too, been tapering for 2 weeks and going to go through the detox starting monday. I have been planning this for a while. I realized there will never ever be a better time to quit, and no matter what I try it will always hurt to go through it. And I really miss being myself, and not this watered down, numb, and very apathic version of myself, getting frustrated over things that dont matter, having horrible nutrition and sleep from this stuff. I am so tired from taking this, 3 years and 10 months user. I want to live my life finally.

10 days clean bro! it sure is a tug of war. nights are still really restless and frustrating, 3 hrs sleep last night, but it all depends on your actions during the day to dictate how you will handle the symptoms. doing some light 10-15 minute exercise and listening to favorite music makes me feel alive again. and I must say, though the depression and struggle of K withdrawal is REAL, I really really missed having actual emotions and raw joy. But yeah you have to force yourself to re-program everything you do. Changing habits, not just 1 habit is a must and it will take time. Best regards. Going to continue healing.
