this is perfect for toning body shapes...
The 1953 Ettinger and Muller study says this: a single daily effort of 65% of a person’s maximum effort exerted for six seconds at a time for ten weeks increased strength about 5% per week. I'm following that plan, doing 47 different Bullworker exercises every day, but isometrics only, NOT following it with "10 reps", which seems superfluous and exhausting, and my hinder daily recovery. I do ONE rep per exercise, holding it for 6-7 seconds. Almost nobody does this, because "reps" and movement, is so ingrained in us as resistance exercise. But only isometric holds, nothing else, was the science behind the original bullworker, and it's still sound.
Do you have results?!
@@nicolapinna5140 Yes, it works! You don't "bulk up" like a regular bodybuilder, but my wife has already seen striations and mentions how "cut" I'm becoming. I also workout in shorts, so I can see the muscles that are tensed up. And I'm stronger also, because I can compress the tubes farther and farther, and have already increased spring tension. The many different chest compressions (11 total) have some rather sick-looking muscles being tensed up, from my neck to my abdomen.
@@watteau6646 I have got Bullworker basic bow, iso flo and iso bow. Now I am starting to use them again after strength training
You do 47 exercises everyday or different ones everyday?
Just picked up a BW x5 - gonna start this exercise regime tomorrow. I’m 62 and just need to keep everything working ok with some improved tone and strength. I think this 2 part video is just the ticket. 👍👏
This is my fave channel for Bullworker advice, tips, workouts, etc. Perfect blend of useful and practical information with a smattering of genuine humor to boot. Thanks for your channel and tireless efforts.👍
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing these workouts.
Very good for slowly building strength in the required sets of muscles .
I've been mostly using the Bullworker for 3 years now. I'm 55. I do some calisthenics, use a little the power twister, and free weights for doing squats. I like the lateral pull downs, to closely simulate a pull up (I can't set up a pull up bar in my apt) and I like the crunches you can do with it. I've put together some videos showing this, if you go to my channel.
I had a feeling it “lurked” within you, but never realised what a total nutter you are! 🤣🤣🤣
To say the prehistoric monster clip took me by surprise is an understatement! 😂
Anyways, finally feel enough energy to do a warmup & this workout (after the joys of ten days covid positive) also love your workouts & channel 👍🏼👍🏼
I forget what I do most of the time! 🤣
@@LivingWellTV it’s extremely funny! (Takes one to know one ) 😂😂😂
Thanks to your channel I purchased a Bullworker X5 and have a brand new one on order from Bullworker.
Is this the German version that's still for sale?
Hi there. Where did you buy the looped bands with enough length to do these exercises as I have bought several sets but they are all very small. Thanks. Bob.
Resistance Loop Bands amzn.to/3Y6O7dx
Thanks!
Great video, but I'm curious where you got this workout from? Aren't you supposed to follow the exact workout in the book that comes with the Bullworker X5? I've just bought an X5 second hand and luckily it came with the original book.
He probably made it up him self your only limited by your imagination.
I designed this workout myself using isometric and isotonic movements, ensuring all the body parts are covered.. Following the manual is great for the first few months but it's good to change it up every so often.
@@LivingWellTV i totally agree mate.
@@cmoneytheman cmoneytheTROLLman 😄
How many sets do you do?
Why do some Bullworker X5 not have illustrations on the handles? And I don't mean they were rubbed off.
The early X5's didn't have the illustrations on, which is the one I bought in the mid 80's and still use. It was after that they appeared.
Do you do 10 sec holds every time or do you switch secs holds around?
10 sec hold every time.
@@LivingWellTV I’m curious, as I’ve heard it’s good to change up the seconds every 4-6 weeks to get a good variety.
@@IGeorge94 My preference is to increase the resistance rather than the seconds. Alternatively, you can hold for 10 seconds, perform 10 isotonic movements, then hold again for 10 seconds.
@@LivingWellTV Fair enough, still new to Isometrics.
Little toooning workout ha ha...🙃
Just kidding. Hey I like your bullworker videos and your sense of humor. Please keep going with those bullworker videos. I also have x5 and planning to using again...with some calistenics and light dumbbells.
Sorry my English...not my native.
