As I have said in a previous video, I find that the ISO-Bow wrapped around one of the cables allows me to use the Bow Basic for the rear lunges.

Why do reps when 7 seconds is like doing 3 sets of ten i can't remember it saying anything about reps back in the 70s.
I believe it did. On the box it said isometric (static hold) and isotonic (reps).
@LivingWellTV oh OK I just got the book you reviewed see what you mean I've been working out for over 50 years have my own gym at home . just fancied getting a bullworker it's one of the first bits of equipment I owned. 70 years old now although I don't look it people say still love training.
Why 80% rather than 100%?
I believe that most studies found that holding it for 70-75% of maximum voluntary contraction was better for muscle growth. Very similar to the studies that show that stopping 2 or 3 repetitions short of failure when using weights was better for hypertrophy.
