    i see the new KOVE 800 to be a real giant killer ,given its sufficient horsepower, low weight, adjustable suspension , removable subframe ,18''-21'' rims I look forward to its arrival in Europe

    Another bike that was suitable for comparison is ktm 790/890 and also Aprilia Tuareg.
    Also I want to point out that Honda 500x is heavier dry than kove 800x wet.

    If the Kove 800x really comes in at 180+ kg wet weight, itll be amazing.

    Wondering why the T7 feels so heavy? Wonder no more! The entire engine is a couple inches higher up, though the ground clearance is very similar. The gas is all 6+" higher up.
    This 800X looks like a incredibly good bike, and excellent value.
    I do wish it had a longer stroke crankshaft though. I'd gladly give up 20hp to get the 'luggability' & stall resistance of that T7 tractor motor. It works soo good on the trail, that you can forgive some of the other weaknesses the bike has.

      it will not work , from my experiance the thing that is usually very wrong in most renders for some reason are the wheels , also the bikes even with the same weels sizes might have completely different sized tyres

    The Transalp is anything but good, bulky and not ready for offroad, the T7 is proven ready to be a good choice, the 800X is clearly a KTM killer, the best choice so far on the list.
    The Touareg is bulky same as the Honda, clearly not a real ADV, with the T7 and the 800X and the KTM we are in the real ADV world, with bikes that can do serious offroad. and in reasonable weight, but the KTM/Kove are clearly at the advantage here.

    • @B4Rnews
      @B4Rnews  Год назад +1

      isnt the touareg lighter then the t7 and the ktm?

    • @arnauddechamps855
      @arnauddechamps855 Год назад +1

      @@B4Rnews from the KTM definitely not, my friend has one 2023 and the 890 is supposedly heavier, yet when you have them, the tuareg is much higher on the weight repartition, feels more. the T7 is about the same actually. The Tuareg is nice looking, yet when you use, the KTM 890 has much much much better everything. Can't wait for the 800X, because it looks very enduro like, with better trim and surface to play with your weight from front to rear. So far I tried once the T7, it pulls a lot, but heavy for sure.
      I talk about the pure offroad use of these bikes. The only thing I see as a potential problem for real ADV riding, is the rear brake lever is out, like the tuareg, only T7/KTM have really thought about it....clearly a pain, because if like that outside, it sucks big big time when you fall or hit rocks, kinda of the same as the 90's trails bikes...
