  • Since i'm planning to change up this truck this summer, I thought it would be good to go over the entire truck and talk about all the parts on it. Basically every nut and bolt on this truck I talked about so if you ever had questions about my truck this video should answer it for you!

Craig, I really admire your enthusiasm and dedication in what you do with your truck. It is like a breathe of fresh air seeing someone with the same passions as my generation did when we were young. The favorite car of mine I built was a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. Thanks for sharing. Eric

I had a beige one. My first vehicle. I built a 10.8:1 410 FE and a toploader. I had to sell the engine to get married the guy is still running 10s with the engine and trans. He refreshes it every 3 years. Rings and bearings and he won’t sell it back that was 1980. I put the engine that is in my Galaxie in it. We drove it daily until I refreshed it.

I love the old look of the truck and the fact you tried to keep is 100% original, I really cant wait to see you re-paint (Or get someone to repaint it). Wish that I had gotten a project truck like this. Love the videos, keep em up!

I guess trucks used to live hard working lives, my 68 GMC was beat similar to how your’s seems to have been and was also left in a field for years. It’s really cool to have a vehicle like these that have a lot of character and history. Enjoyed hearing the story of your truck.

Damn, Im going to start on mine this summer. Well getting parts, it is a 73 f250 with a flatbed(will change eventually) has a 390 fe according to the tags, its coming out because it needs lifters and whatever else. Cab seals are first because it has to be outside, water and wasps love coming in.

When I first started watching your videos I thought that you were just some young punk kid that didn’t know squat about these old fords but after watching a lot of your videos I see you are very knowledgeable and very passionate about these old trucks. Keep the videos coming. I really enjoy them. I used to have an all original white 78 that was super nice but somebody made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. I’m currently looking for a rust free bump side. I’m from the dirty south mississippi and finding rust free old truck is almost impossible

You kinda game me inspiration for my truck im very picky about having original "from the factory" parts for my cars but if they look better that original like my swiss cheese rear bumper then im gonna replace it, if u were wondering i have a 98 chevy 5.0 rwd ext cab truck its gonna be my "muscle" truck even tho it has the 5.0 but its still a v8 so im good with that also nice job on the f100 thing is so sick

Just got a new fuel tank today for my 92 F250...and it was also smashed in on one end. I was desperate to get it back on the road, so I put up with it...but it really sucks. Had to add some extra padding on the bottom so the strap would still wrap tightly. Sucks to buy something new and install it already damaged.

I had to take off the door panel to get an old mirror off, and after I replaced it, I tried to get it all together again, and I can't get that dang latch in right to open the door...I wish someone, anyone would show how to deal with these door internals! I came to this video to see about your fuel pump switch but you don’t have one :/ I just bought the truck for $2000 (he was asking $3k) and as soon as I got home the fuel pump switch stopped working so I can’t get any fuel to start the truck ☹️

Cowboy Tapia For shortbed f100’s it depends on where you live and the engine because at least in NorCal there isn’t many shortbeds so we luckily found my 68 f100 shortbed for 7k(it took an extra 9k to get it where it is now without paint). If you don’t care about shortbed or longbed you can pick up clean longbeds around 5k all day

Getting this exact year and model for 500 bucks. Its got some rust and a small hole that needs to be bondo'd and sanded primes and painted. It needs a new carberator and ignition but it's got a 390 big block in it. Mind you the only cars I've driven were 6 cylinders.. Just wanna make sure I dont wreck such a beautiful truck out of ignorance of the power held underneath that hood

Actually that paint would not be hard to bring back it's single stage my F250 was as or worse than yours I went to harbor frieght bought that cheap variable speed buffer the fine cut paint cleaner they had and a wool buffing pad and tried it . I could see my reflection when I was done never did it before some parts I lightly sanded it with 2,000 then buffed it out single stage paint is the best ford used enamel thick paint .
