Man you have showed me a lot and helped me find inspiration again in my truck. My grandpa gave me a 70 f250 camper special he bought new. When I was 13 he told me “you get it running you can have it” . Ended up going all out (for a 13 year old) 390fe, edelbrock 4 barrel, ported intake mani, headman long tubes, brand new c6, along with some other things thrown on here in there. I am now 24 and sense then have got married, bought a home, and started a family and truck sits in the driveway not getting as much attention as it deserves until I found your channel! Love the videos man keep them coming! I work all over SD every day so I’m keeping my eyes peeled to see Mater cruise by some day!
15:00 same thing happened to me when doing bodywork, always make sure the car is level guys! Great work on the swap, awesome to see thorough documentation that'll help people in the future!
i did a T5 swap on a 67 chevy stepside truck. theres a video of the "backyard 67 c10 build" on my channel. the T5's were originally aavailable in camaros and mustangs, trans ams, but its real nice to have overdrive in a classic vehicle! helps a ton with top speed fuel mileage and highway rpm
You have done what I've wanted to do for years, but havent had the time or money. My dream truck is a 1978 f250 crew cab 4x4. Congratulations on it running and driving!!! Hard work pays off and I love seei g people achieve their goals.
I found a Tremec T5 in the salvage yard for $75 I’m picking up hopefully next week, I’m starting to compile videos of getting my 69 f100 back together , so far I don’t see YouTubing in my future, also what video editor are you using
Great job . Now drive the shit out of it . Lol. 2: 20 to 3:20 was a 420 glam shot if I ever saw one . Lmao . I have made a few spacers after a think session that didn't fit . Best wishes & Have Fun .
I want to get a family members f100 but he was kind of a crazy driver and every body panel is damaged except just the cab doors dented to and would new floor panels Idk if it would be worth it but it does have a original drive train
Buddy🤔 always measure at ride hight, anytime its in the air it changes all suspension/drivetrain angles. But atleast it was an easy learning experience she should move good now!!!!!!
Jason Petrich he has the rear axle sitting on jack stands. So the rear is at ride height. And the front tires are also compressed like they should do ride height is existing.
Dude a bone stock 302 looks sooooo easy to work with. I don't know yet, but my 460 with AC and power steering better pay off bc I literally couldn't do shit on it when it was in my 79 ford so I took out the front clip and took out the engine to rebuild it. Big block problems
Eli Kazan oh yeah those are the 351/400. That it has like the displacement of a 351 on a 400 block or something like that my dad has told about that engine before
Mr Slick 351 block with either a different stroke or boar that makes it a 400 i have a 79 f250 my dad and i are currently working on so i know a little bit lol. Its all real cool tho
matthew dyess the real deal breaker was just that it was probably 50% rust at that point. And body panels were rusted all the way through. The engine was the 6.2 naturally aspirated diesel with the 4 speed manual. It needed new... Everything

I am glad you got it going awesome job love your videos keep up the great work
Awesome video craig can't wait to see more now that the swap is done
Great job good to see her up and running again.
The truck sounds amasing
Keep the bench seat!
Amen, only way to have your girl sitting nice and close. Only way to cruise in your pickup.
YES! I was so excited to see this pop up on my notifications. Glad everything went together so well. Can't wait for some rolling shots!
Awesome Job Craig.... I knew you'd get going....
You could have done a mid-shift conversion on that tremec. That’s the beauty of the tremec 5-speed, there are three possible shifter locations.
Dude you have some good friends, consider yourself pretty fortunate.
When I saw that new driveshaft and u joints I flipped! Looks even more kickass than before man.
Awesome! It finally works! Great job!
I like the longer videos you have some much good info iv learned a bunch from your channel

Pretty sweet man! Can’t wait until you hit 100000 you deserve it!
Nice! Did you do any tuning on the Rdelbrock?

Build On ... get that rush that does not go away
Awesome dude I love it so proud of you!
Fox body trans are always hard you shift into 2nd, you really gotta yank it
Nice video brother
Congratulations!!!
Awesome truck
You reallllllyyy need to look at videos of how to set u joint angle. Just a helpful hints.
Pinion and trans yoke angles has to be the same
Fully torque my shaft
Pretty sure "Getchu soma that" is copyrighted by Discovery and Richard Rawlings
I haven’t watched the vids for a while, does he have the crown Vic frame done?
I need to get my drive shaft cut for my Edsel
What is the length of driveshaft? What’s the wheelbase of your truck?
sounds good
I wanna know where you got the ford shirt. I want one!!
Great job . Now drive the shit out of it . Lol. 2: 20 to 3:20 was a 420 glam shot if I ever saw one . Lmao . I have made a few spacers after a think session that didn't fit . Best wishes & Have Fun .
What did your 5 speed come out of
I want to get a family members f100 but he was kind of a crazy driver and every body panel is damaged except just the cab doors dented to and would new floor panels Idk if it would be worth it but it does have a original drive train

Hell yea brother
Hell yeah man that's awesome
You cut the bolt off too short their is a lot of threads showing still in the nut.
Yessssssss it drives
You're a pretty smart kid
Dude a bone stock 302 looks sooooo easy to work with. I don't know yet, but my 460 with AC and power steering better pay off bc I literally couldn't do shit on it when it was in my 79 ford so I took out the front clip and took out the engine to rebuild it. Big block problems
but when you get it driving you will see the big block benefits lol!
Frigglebiscuit I pray this hard work better pay off my dude
Mr Slick you should be better off than me lol. it took me 9 years to put a big block and 4 speed in my dart, and it still isn't road worthy.
This might be useful if I need a custom driveshaft for my ranger when I shove a 5.0 in it
If you’re going to put an exhaust back on at least get a black widow race venom exhaust or maybe even the new neighbor hater haha
I need to bring my 68 out there
Finally!
what tremec model is that?
Brother had a 1960 F-100 that a guy covered to 1 ton dulley with a manual 5 speed 292 v8 paid 500.00 drove it 15 years sold it for 500.00
Nice
351/6.2L next?!?!
Admiral Sandwich isn't a 351 a 5.8L? That's what my 89 ford says
Mr Slick well some like the 351m are said to be 400s so pretty much 6.2 liter in the end but the engine family is 351/5.8L
Eli Kazan oh yeah those are the 351/400. That it has like the displacement of a 351 on a 400 block or something like that my dad has told about that engine before
Eli Kazan I have the 351M and he's talking about the 351W then right
Mr Slick 351 block with either a different stroke or boar that makes it a 400 i have a 79 f250 my dad and i are currently working on so i know a little bit lol. Its all real cool tho
You make me regret selling my 82 k10 so bad
Square bodies are garbage. You made the right decision
matthew dyess the real deal breaker was just that it was probably 50% rust at that point. And body panels were rusted all the way through. The engine was the 6.2 naturally aspirated diesel with the 4 speed manual. It needed new... Everything
Square bodies are better than any of the new trucks coming out
@@colbywebster8765 from what perspective? They had more problems than any other truck of that era.
That moment when you lift the trans mission 2 inches and then the driveshaft hits the floor...
woah, comment number 100 here. dont think ive ever had that lol
Bout time haha
Bad ass 😎
400th like lets send it!!!!!
Finally
Cool dude my 73 f100 has 360 with a 5 speed it's better with more gears to race
Hell yeeeeee
