All the points do is tell the coil when to fire the coil delivers high voltage back to the top of the distributor cap the lobes that opens the points represent each cylinder

Yeah we tried that on our purple f150 and had little luck. We used vinger in this one and she got close. Maybe we need to go back and do a round 2 on this truck what do you think

Spray wd40 in the cylinders to loosen up the rings

Fill the cylinder holes with magic mystery oil let her set for a spell try it again.
