The green paint that turns purple in some light is ChromaFlair. It was a TVR paint option 15 years ago

That’s such a great piece. Pure Americana without being obvious. The build quality is obvious, the care and attention to detail is a world away from what I’d expect. It’s a thing of beauty.

This guy Noah Alexander is amazing. He's got both mechanicals and aesthetics down cold, and seems like a nice guy besides. Not particularly big on what they did with this truck, but they did it amazingly well.

    • @The_ZeroLine
      @The_ZeroLine Год назад

Yeah. The wheels and overly slammed looked are awful, but it’s most beautiful beside that. I personally prefer that extremely paint stripped patina look on these (as if a ton of different metals are oxidizing on it).

I love this truck. I think Mr. Noah did a fantastic job by putting the owners personal touches on it while still retaining the soul of ole '53. It looks new and it looks '53. Plus the Green with the "bronze" and the brown leather just look spectacular. Those seats really do look like they are the age of the truck but still fresh. I could almost smell the leather through my screen.

It’s refreshing to see a ‘53 build instead of another ‘56. I like the ‘55 grill the best out of the ‘53 to ‘56 models , the fact that it still has mirrors and door handles as apposed to being shaved is a nice touch as well. I would have liked to see the undercarriage and the way the bed was floor was raised and mounted. Not a fan of the wheels, but it is a beautiful build none the less.

My Grandpa moved out to Victoria, where I live, so difficult to see, I know, his was a hot Rod---good thing it was back then when Gas was still very affordable, his was Purple though. It was a work truck & it never looked anything like Noah's work of art. I painted it Bright Lime Green and we called it the "Green Hornet". Had a lot fun with that old truck. Again, beautiful job. I LOVE 50s pick up trucks! the 53 Ford and the 56&57 Chevy are my favorites just classic styling and beautiful lines. I have always wanted one of these. I know I will not be able to afford one in this condition sadly. Hats off to Classic Car Studio on another stellar build!

Glad to see someone else into cars when nobody else in family into the hobby. Took him a lot less time to get into it than me. Wish there had been more outreach for those of us without a mechanic uncle. Thank God for RUclips today

Some day, somebody's going to restore a fifties F100 to factory condition, and blow everybody's minds.

Daniel van Slooten only thing to do would be install a big back window kit, not many came with that option, google “1956 f100 big window” you will be in awe

I think it was Dennis Gage who had a fifties F-100 truck on his show. It had been in the family since new, and it was restored to original condition with the only addition being overdrive on the transmission. That truck wasn't seeing much hauling work. Very well done.

Yes, '56 was the only year for the big window....for the mid fifties, that is.
Also, this truck may be a '53 but, it has a '55 grille.
      I have a '53 Deluxe. All original.
      Also a '62 big back window Uni-bed.

I did a 55 back in 78. Balanced a 223 6 and added an overdrive and used 15" radials and converted to 12 volt negative ground. 26 MPG. Stolen in 93.

@@RalphSampson... Also this has the earlier tail gate from a 48 - 51 or 52. I had a 53 Ford panel delivery until a couple of years ago with the flat V-8. I would like this one up higher and with bumpers, too vulnerable as is I think.

I love the use of the bronze it’s one of my favourite things when people use colours that way. Like, flat black, black chrome or rose gold to dull the chrome areas

Beautiful pickup! Well done Noah! Thanks for sharing Jay.
Forgot to add: The very first car I drove to high school was a 1967 Ford F100, it was an absolute blast to drive. Not only was it fast but that truck was absolutely bulletproof.
