My friend Phil and I competed against each other in a cinematic FPV Battle! 3 different locations, 5 minutes flight time per Spot and 3 hours to edit a cinematic 1 minute clip. As Phil is a pro pilot with more than 8 years of experience, we decided to give this challenge a little twist by also editing the videos by ourselves. We explored some of the craziest landscapes on the island of Mallorca and risked everything in order to get the best shots possible. If you guys enjoyed this video, we'll fly to another country and do it again!

Can you please do Camelia Gardens it’s a massive garden there’s some medium sized fields and bats ducks birds crows so many animals and at the start of the entrance area there’s a big drop to go down to a lake.

Niklas color grade was insane, both incredible videos in such short time.
Im not in the FPV cagegory but out of all the amazing shots and edits between the both of you, Phil's FPV was dancing on close calls twist which made the video robustly epic in the horizontal viewpoints.
Imagine they both merge their shots and niklas edit the video that shit would be dope!!

This is a great adventure for both of you, it made for great content and to be honest .....Niklas wins! Your dolly /vertigo effects really spiced things up. He may have been the pro pilot but your edit really pulled your footage together. This is a fantastic concept and I think I might have to try this with my friends! Hope you guys do this again!

Killer job from both of you! Niklas' edit, especially with the sound matching was imho better, but Phils flying was so much more fluid that the overall has to go to him for the sheer pleasure if the visuals. Again, great work from both of you!
They both were like like riding a dramatic roller coaster that I both loved! I honestly think if they team up together to build a video together it would be perfect! The video would be balanced like yin and yang. I would love to see them collab with another team and do the same challenges

Niklas' dynamic editing seems to have been able to cover a little bit of the shortcomings of filming, and Phil's great filming seems to have not been highlighted a little more in editing.
In conclusion, both of them made a wonderful and wonderful video that no one could ever see. Thank you👍

Definitly would love to see a tutorial, because it looks so natural and also has vibrant colors...If i color grade, its most likely over saturated or washed Out...🥲

i am not a FPV pilot and want to compliment both pilots for their incredible skills. flying through objects i feel is a special difficult task and clearly phil is a pro doing it. congrats to both for their exceptional skills in flying and quick editing
I am not even into drones, and randomly came across this video. I have visited all of these places and know what they are like, but seeing them from a different angle was just amazing. I got so into this video that I watched it with the same facial expression as Niklas had whilst flying. Beginner pilot? would have never thought. This is one of handful of videos I actually commented on since I got a youtube account and I feel it deserved every single second of my time. Inspirational and creative and made me consider a new hobby. Thank you and well done.

I think when it comes to color grading + timing with the music, you took the challenge. But when it comes to pure drone movement, and capturing different angles, it makes phil's story telling alot more detailed. Overall, I enjoyed both work so much I cant tell who won, but if you both were a team, him being the pilot and you editing....it'll be a masterpiece. I'm a hobbyist who just started editing and flying drones, hope i reach your guys level!

Honestly, quite a lot of the magic happens in the editing when it comes to FPV - the selection of the shots, the timing, the sound design, the colour grading and I personally like Nikklas' video more.
If only Phil knew how to edit. His shots are insane, I got goosebumps every time watching his shots.

Being a Beginner (or as he calls himself), the shots were pretty dope. Editing part was way too good! The music and sound effects integrated so well with Niklas' video! I was definitely mind blown...
Coming to Phil, his shots were breath-taking, especially the hole pass thing (great risk dude!). One of my favorites was the flip and going far above you guys, absolutely loved it! As Niklas said, his curves during flight were crazy.
But regarding the final video, I guess light (or color grading, whatever it is called) was a major factor deciding the winner, where Niklas obviously had a upper hand. So great job Niklas!

Absolutely, Phil creates the movie which you won’t mis every second. It’s heart beating feel. Especially for the dangerous movement and you feel human at the final cut with persons on the hill. Really it’s human and robotics combi. Great!

Niklas is insane at viseo editing. While he shoot the sunset recording at the last location, his iso settings were not good. But after he edited the clips, it was looking stunning! Phil, I believe, is the best drone pilot I've ever seen. Insane! Thanks for this amazing and exciting video btw.

Niklas shots are very amazing for a clam video style. The smooth movement are very relaxing and i enjoyed it a lot. But phill just on another level. I feel like if phill get time to map the area then he can pull up some of the best shots and niklas editing will make them superb.

"Beginner." I actually prefer your smoother gliding shots to his swinging/dodging shots. The only shot of his I liked better was when he got the reveal shot of the mountain going backwards.

Phil definitely flew and got better lines and content, Niklas colors, lighting and edits with sound and timing was definitely amazing, close call for sure, wish lighting was corrected on Phil's and a 6hr edit compiled from both pilots footage together would be amazing....

Manual mode is really the only way to get really pro-style shots; not sure why folks are laughing at the question - it's a good one for those who are new to the sub-discipline of FPV drone flying

I think Phil is a much better pilot than Niklas, but what matters in the end is how the video looks, and in matters of editing Phil has almost no chance of equaling Niklas. so Niklas wins!

Got my Mini in January, still not tired of flying daily! Drones are awesome (not that filmmaking and photography with a normal camera would get boring anytime soon for me) but the different view on landscapes is amazing!
