Literally my exact reaction when I first started flying with the DJI FPV. Instantly got addicted. 2 yrs later I’m filming music videos/ commercials. Being an Fpv operator is the best job ever. I’m somewhere cool every day I’m working. It could be chasing super cars around a race track or dirt bikes or diving a building downtown. I love my job. So grateful
i flew a mini 2 for some time and i want to get into fpv but the custom world is too much for me to understand so im thinking of getting the dji fpv the one in the video do u think i should do it for my first fpv drone
Dude your videos are so fucking good. Your determination and progression was very cool to watch. I filmed myself also learning how to fly fpv, but not DJI, and the process is remarkably similar. Excitement->frustration-> frustration over and over until BAM you’re a fucking pilot. Keep up these amazing videos dude! I can’t wait until the next one
frustration is more with dji, you cant risk to crash dji or you get piles of broke plastics and vires, with regular fpv you can crash as much as you like and risk it, even if you break it its cheap to fix or get mew one, my tyro 79 cost 80euros...

@@bradical2723 yah you can build diy drones with dji transmitter. Actually DIY is not accurate word because majority of those drones come pre-built, you just look one pre-built with dji transmitter and google. This dji drone it self is a piece of garbage, expensive looking plastic, itsbrequirst only one bump to ground or a tree branch and you will need to wait weeks until you receive new one, and that new onen you going to break same day... Unless you are careful as hell, but so no risk taking and no nothing, only slow safe learning
Amazing video and great story telling! I am in my 60’s and have been flying gps drones since 2017 but just got the DJI FPV 2 weeks ago. First half dozen flights made me dizzy and I thought “Oh, geez, what have I done, can I do this?” This morning I went out and it all felt pretty normal so I’m getting used to it, now just need to build my skills and progress from Sport mode to full manual. Thanks for letting this old guy know that I’m not crazy for being dizzy and disoriented when first flying. I think if more FPV pilots would share that info, it would help a lot of newbies push through and really enjoy the hobby. Thanks again for an inspiring video! Cheers from California.

get regular fpv for 100e, like tyro 79 cost 80euros and it has same speed and probably better handling, you can smash it to brick wall and 9/10 continue to fly, if its grass or tree branch, even if its some sort of lake or river, dont worry. then when you can finally fly, get dji but dont expect to have regular fpv drone flights with dji, its just to fragile, professional crash every day. dji for open fields only.

It's rare to see people sniffing new stuff right out of the box on youtube, but I really love seeing you doing it. I have a habit of sniffing new things all the time LOL A great and inspirational VDO indeed.
I sold my DJI FPV because of it not having a real disarm switch. a csc command is not a "kill switch" just too dangerous, mine hit a branch, flipped out and flew 300 yards into the woods and destroyed itself. all while I was tapping the stop start button... problem was I had hit pause before it hit the branch.... I didn't have the csc command enabled, it was in default config. poor design, even worse customer service. but soo close to being GREAT. if it had a disarm switch, I might buy 2, as just a casual cruiser. the Return to Home H in the UI is a game changer. Occusync 3 is game changer. for the casual flier, even the battery form factor makes sense. the arms should be user swappable in 5 minutes. just need mr30 connectors and connect the arms with 3 screws.. those landing legs are designed to break too... they need to disconnect more gracefully... so it's a rich boy toy... buy 2 and fly the other while the one is in the shop... If you just want to swipe a credit card and get 95% of the sport. buy the kit, and extra quad, 2 fly more, & car charger, nd filter + misc... $1300 + 750 + 600 + 250 = less than 3k and Done... I've spent way more on Custom quads. i have 5 quads each over 500 and 20 + lipos + ++ ++++ .... if it just had a Disarm....

Watching you get the sick feeling, i totally understand. i feel like it starts with getting a hot feeling, and tired feeling. Then i usually yawn, and have to stop everything or i feel like the feeling in my head will make me throw up and pass out.
Awesome video. Ive been flying for about 10 months. Love FPV. I actually thought the DJI FPV drone, I flew it a bit but was too nervous to crash it. Being you wouldnt learn how to fix and repair that sending it back to DJI. So I returned it and bought a traditional FPV drone to learn how to repair it myself after every crash. Longer way to get into it but I think its a needed skill in repairing

Hi, wanna tell you something. I bought dji fpv in May, and after couple of test flights I decided it's not for me and I'm just unable to fly this thing. But after I saw your video I realized that it's nobody born to it. You need to overcome yourself and became a drone pilot. So I did. I practiced day by day. And want to say you thanks a lot. I had small drones from young days, and I always wanted an fpv one, and then DJI introduced this FPV I was so happy, because I said to my self that I should get it, I went to the DJI shop, and understood that this drone is not for me, because of the price, and only now I saw this video and you are lucky to have that much money, so you can buy any drone... I am happy for you!
Unfortunately, there is nothing comparable so far in the fpv world I think. 150 are a lot, but it's worth it by now I like it so much I owned 6 battery’s 🥲

For every one who is starting to fly fpv: put your head in a comfortable position when wearing those goggles and let it stay in this position. Never move your head when you are flying. You will feel a heavy nausea feeling and you could fall over when youre standing.

I picked up an emax tiny hawk 2 indoor . First fpv experience... it was amazing . You get such a different perspective it makes flying line of sight so lame in comparison. Every time you put the goggles on it just gets you so stoked .Now I’m rocking the tiny hawk freestyle 2 . Loving it after 4 months I would love to pick up the dji! Awesome video bud!

Just got my first ever fpv today. Honestly I'm already hitting gaps. If you have ever played battle field 4 and have extensive time on the helicopters then the controls and the way it behaves are extremely close.

This is probably what most people do seeing that you can crash your drone with one mistake, you really need to spend time on the simulator first.
also dont get a plastic toy which breaks on the first crash lmaoo

Just got my first ever fpv today. Honestly I'm already hitting gaps. If you have ever played battle field 4 and have extensive time on the helicopters then the controls and the way it behaves are extremely close.
Just convinced me to get one, helis we’re my thing in battlefield.
