Brothers' friend's uncle had a F150 Limited spontaneously combust in his garage while running a margaritaville blender on the tailgate during a hurricane! True story I just made up...Denali Ultimate for the win!!
@@phatzuk109these new 6.2 engines have had a lot of trouble. I have a customer that had a 2022 Denali with the 6.2, it had to have new lifters put in at less than 15,000 miles. The vehicle would also shut off at a light and not start backup. GM bought the vehicle back under Lemon law. They got a 2023 Denali and just had the engine replaced with around 6/7000 miles. So believe what you want.
Being a GMC 3.0 owner, I’d say having that in the Denali is the better engine choice. GMC looks better over all but the Ford is about 5 years of technology ahead of that GMC. Make that Diesel a hybrid with on board power and they would take the crown for a 100k truck which is ducking nuts for a price tag.

The motor was replaced, AC compressor done, and the new motor was starting to make the same issues as before it was replaced, so I traded it in. GM is well aware of there AC compressor problem, dealer knows all about, and my work has 40ish 2021+ Chevy Silverado, and everyone has AC compressor issues. That's a $2000 fix if you don't have warranty. My wife had two previous Yukon Denali XL and never had an issue and my wife put huge kms on those as well. When GM would not fix the AC I told them it was going to cost the 1 million before I buy another GM...1 down 9 more to go.
I think it just comes down which features you want that the other doesnt have. I dont tow a bunch of different rigs so the scales are useless for me and i already have a portable battery. But the rearview camera is like a heated steering wheel in the winter to me, once i got it i can never not have it. Though i would like the flat reclining seats on the ford.

Chances are, he is not regularly working on a site where he needs the outlets and the GMC has 110v if he should need one. For the money i would go Denali 10 out 10 times
Still waiting for GM to pay back their bailout. Also, Ford towing 11,000 with 1200 payload? Lol, you find a jockey to drive? Ford overall the better truck, that GM will be rusting and on its 2nd engine while the Ford will still be like new, but these will need $30k rebates to move.
I also own a 2021 Limited and the 2022 models and beyond are a complete rip off in comparison because Ford has omittedmany of the true luxury features like active park assist, heated steering wheel, massaging and max reclining seats, digital temperature readoutson the knobs. And today this truck is thousands more without these features. Seems criminal and I'm surprised Ford has been able to keep selling these high end trucks without those features. The Limited trim at minimum should be discontinued until those features are available. But may no doubt about it, when fully equipped, the Ford is on another level. Sure, the GMC has the HUD and a superior hands free driving experience to the Ford but that is where it ends. The F150 is packed with a laundry list of features that the general hadn't even thought of including in their gasoline powered trucks. For instance, the work surface I use as a change station for my 11 month old daughter. There are two household outlets for powering laptops conveniently placed in the front and back seat, not to mention the 4 additional outlets on the bed, not including the 240 outlet. This vehicle equipped with the 7.2 kw is their most useful work truck if you don't need the sheer brawn and towing prowess of a Super Duty. No other truck is more useful off road or on a construction site, campsite, you name it. Power for days on a single tank of gas. This truck also parks itself and will back up a trailer virtually by itself. There's just so many details that Ford thought of, like trailer and tongue scales, max reclining seats (2021 model) I have owned two Sierras and neither of them lasted more than 160k miles before catastrophic engine and transmission failure, which has now led me to Ford. While this truck is not without its glitches and hiccups, it has never left me stranded. I'm currently sitting at 90,000 miles. No engine or transmission issues.
@chancegehring912 as far as I know, there is only one outlet inside the entire truck. There is also one on the bed. My F150 has 6 of them, 2 in the cab, front and backseat and 4 on the bed,not including a 240 outlet for a camper. There is no comparison. You cannot run power tools off of the 110 outlets on any current ICE GM products. The F150 will power your house.
I think if I was buying a luxury truck I would get the capstone tundra I drive people around a lot and I think the heated and cooled rear seats would be appreciated
Or, since nobody actually uses trucks for what they are made for, you can buy a used loaded 2020 1/2-ton for $35-40k, and it has only ever been used to drop kids off at school.
The GMC has nice seats and door panels. The center console has cheap plastic. The Ford has cheap door panels. The Ford Limited front end is considerably better looking. The square wheel wells in the fenders of the GMC surrounded by cheap plastic flares looks awful. The V8 in the GMC sounds great and is powerful…but the Ford Powerboost will eat the doors off it and is more efficient. The GMC has a wildly outdated tiny regular sunroof. The Ford has a full panoramic moonroof. The Ford has the generator and the hitch scale and it won’t rust. I have no idea why TK is so enamored with the GMC. And the F150 Limited trim level has been out since prior to the aluminum truck, so at least 2014…not 2019.
They are saying this version of the limited came out in 2019 not the limited itself. You also forget to mention how gm has the better tailgate and comes with a rearview mirror camera which once you use there is just no going back. Besides the gm feels more solid and grown up. But to each their own, though imagine the truck you could build if it were possible to mash both trucks together.
How could this version of the Limited have come out in 2019 when the F150 itself was completely revised for 2021? The GM tailgate is a Jack of all trades, master of none. Many auto review channels have concluded that. The camera rear view mirror is something RAM offered first, so hard to give GM too much credit.
You know *gm* is knocking it out of the park when trolls are resorting to made up stories just for likes and to feel better about what *gm’s* competitors are offering. GMC looks better, drives better, better technology, more luxurious interior, quieter, smoother suspension, better power plant (V8), superiorly tuned transmission, superior semiautonomous driving system, innovative tailgate and a overall better design. Ford cannot compete with the Sierra. Even the Silverado has a better quality interior.
@G-Rated I'm not brand loyal, I owned a 2021 Tahoe up until last November, but nice try..... Also, stating your opinions as facts like your original blabbering post about Gm being the "bestest of the bestest" doesn't actually make it legit...🤣🤣🤣

There's just so many details that Ford thought of, like trailer and tongue scales, max reclining seats (2021 model)
I have owned two Sierras and neither of them lasted more than 160k miles before catastrophic engine and transmission failure, which has now led me to Ford. While this truck is not without its glitches and hiccups, it has never left me stranded. I'm currently sitting at 90,000 miles. No engine or transmission issues.
Gm has the 110 plugs and has had them for many years as well 😂😂 maybe not your diaper changing station tho
The F150 limited came out in 2013
Ridiculous... Manufacturers make huge margins on trucks. Supply/demand.
The gmc looks like a vacuum cleaner
3 liter diesel all the way - 2024 best engine
10 percent of the trailer tongue weight of 11k will just about max out the fords payload. Don't plan on bringing anyone
No cooled seats in the back though for gmc. Even the 2nd tier top trim longhorn ram can get heated/cooled rear seats
Raptor
I prefer a down payment in my new house with $100k ejeje😂
What would 5 year ago you say about 100k trucks ?
The same thing as any other vehicle 😂
I think if I was buying a luxury truck I would get the capstone tundra I drive people around a lot and I think the heated and cooled rear seats would be appreciated
Is it just me but the front running lights on the Ford doesn't look good. Danali all the way
yes they are ugly, look up 2024 F-150, they improved the design a bit
It’s just you.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566now it looks more like a Sierra. Less goofy. They want to be GM so badly.
Or, since nobody actually uses trucks for what they are made for, you can buy a used loaded 2020 1/2-ton for $35-40k, and it has only ever been used to drop kids off at school.
As always Ford wins
GMC 🥰
Build back better baby!!! 😂
Ram isnt even comparable 😂👌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That f-150 came out in 2021 not 2019
Nope. I have a 2020 ford f150 limited
Traded it from a 2018 ford f150 limited I had previously
@@TormentorRain google is free
GM is better looking. Ford is more useful.
I could not possibly care less about this comparison LOL. Show me the best truck under 40k....oh right it doesnt exist.
Sure it does, just not brand new.
I remember back in 2014, Nissan still had the Frontier for under $20k brand new.
You could also get the Frontier with manual.
I think ford buys ford and gm buys gm. I wonder if there is any cross shopping.
Where’s the Dodge???
Limited has been around for 15+ years
Yeah it has lol,I was wondering where he got 2019 from lol
@@jliefer2484 making sure I wasn’t crazy lol
2019 was the last time they updated it - not introduced it. I could have been clearer.
Did Truck King got a diet?
@@tylermacconnell217Yeah IDK where the heck these guys who are talking about 2019 are getting this from lol
Sierra
The f150 is just a lariat with different badges not in the same level of a Denali.
Ford is a rip off
Ford cannot compete with *gm’s* quality. That Denali Ultimate just mopped the floor with that Limited and it was effortless.
My Ultimate Denali's wheel fell off as I was leaving the dealership with it right after I paid for it all in cash!
Ok
You know *gm* is knocking it out of the park when trolls are resorting to made up stories just for likes and to feel better about what *gm’s* competitors are offering.
GMC looks better, drives better, better technology, more luxurious interior, quieter, smoother suspension, better power plant (V8), superiorly tuned transmission, superior semiautonomous driving system, innovative tailgate and a overall better design. Ford cannot compete with the Sierra. Even the Silverado has a better quality interior.
@G-Rated You sound like a Gm salesman, or someone overly invested in a brand.....
@@iggy-pg6gq Lol. Is this Ford or Stellantis CEO? Anybody that doesn’t hate *gm* as much as you do I’m sure are “GM salesman”…🙄
@G-Rated I'm not brand loyal, I owned a 2021 Tahoe up until last November, but nice try..... Also, stating your opinions as facts like your original blabbering post about Gm being the "bestest of the bestest" doesn't actually make it legit...🤣🤣🤣
For 100k you should be looking at Peterbilts or Kenworths..not GM and Ford light duty pick up trucks 👎
The GMC has it in spades, That professional grade, Ford just doesn't have the cache of GMC
Ram Limited >
