Well I've always been a chevy guy and none of my past chevy trucks owe me a penny ! But it was time to give the competition a try and must say, things like the reclining back seats, panoramic sun roof, air ride suspension, 19 speaker Harmon kardon sound, and the looks of the night edition package with a sport hood, and so many older rams still on the road and looking good I felt ram has also been trying harder than the rest and winning
Both beautiful trucks,I took them out for a test drive and chose to buy the GMC by only one factor, I didn't like changing gears by turning a dial, I prefer a shifter. Such a small thing to make a decision, but that's how much I liked both trucks, both a win.
It’s different, but you do get used to it. My Goldwing has an automatic transmission which also took some getting used to. Now, I wouldn’t go back to a clutch. Back to the trucks, what you gain for storage in the Ram is well worth the trade off in shifters, IMHO. Personally, I’d prefer the air ride in the Ram. But, they’re both great trucks.
You get use to it quick and it’s worth it for the space it free’s up. Column shifters and work trucks go together but trucks are moving further and further away from work trucks to luxury vehicles.
I brought my 2020 Ram Limited based on these type of videos. I haven't experienced any truck that will change my mind yet. I have over 85,000 miles and the truck still rides like the day I drove it off the lot. Pure luxury and still turning peoples heads. As my wife would say, "I can't wait to see what your gonna get next". Looks like another Limited Baby!
This was the best review comparison on RUclips between these two. From ride quality to noise levels you guys are comparing everything and quick enough to not drag the video on the point system is great also. My dad has always had me in GMs and I have a soft spot for rams cause my first vehicle was a ram. This made me feel comfortable with the purchasing choice!
I looked at them both but choose the RAM ECODiesel in a Longhorn trim. RAM's split tailgate was the major decider, I haul a lot of feed and salt and I'm getting too old to be lifting 40 and 50 pound bags over a tailgate. The best part is that we get these awesome choices. Need and subjectivity will take you to one of them and regardless which one, you are the winner.
I agree with the tailgate. I love the fact that with the barn door style tailgate you don’t have to crawl in the back of the truck. The other very handy point with the ram tailgate is that you can get pallets loaded straight in the box with a forklift. The biggest deciding factor for me is still the ram boxes. I wouldn’t want to live without them now. Not sure why this wasn’t an option on the ram in the video.
Great trucks for sure. I believe both have enough individuality to state their cases. That said, in terms of pure luxury, Ram still is the one to beat. Yes, the Sierra has a few tricks up its sleeve with Super Cruise(that you must pay monthly subscription for IN ADDITION to the monthly subscription for the Google infotainment😬) and admittedly a better diesel(LZO), Ram clearly shines in interior assembly, amenities, and true luxury comfort. The rear seat area remains unbeaten(important since these trucks are the new family cars these days), ride quality that is unmatched, and more customization than the Denali Ultimate(you can get two different interior themes, as well as the Limited Night package exterior). A few things that I find odd on the Denali Ultimate. They don't offer any 12V ports in the truck at all, and only 4 USBs for the entire truck. And with all of the hype of the "Vader" chrome, why wasn't it carried across the entire truck? Even the lower front bumper keeps the regular Denali bright stuff. And those cheap, unpainted fender flares on the GMC gotta go! Ram offers painted flares on just the mid-trim Laramie and up.
I’m typically one who buys a car based more on the looks and style of it, but ride quality has been more of an interest lately so as much of a GM guy I am, I’d love to test out the air suspension on the Ram
The seats in the GM are horrible, hard as a rock. Sold my 2020 Denali 2500 because of that. I have a 20 Silverado that I want to trade for a Ram (never had one but friends do) but the prices on all these trucks are a rips off so ill wait.
The Ram's air ride to me is better and that sound system. I'm looking for an Ultimate to drive so I can try the messaging seats. I have lumbar issues and if they are as good as it sounds I'll go with the Ultimate.
I just went from a 2022 Sierra 1500 SLT to 2023 Ram Limited and the seats are way more comfortable and ride quality is what pulled me in. The panoramic roof made me sign the paperwork.😊
Great review, but if I saw someone driving a nice Ram over a Nnce Sierra Denali Ultimate, I would automatically think the overall look and name would make GMC the worthy choice...
I bought mine Ran 1500 Limited Night Edition in October 2022 and absolutely loved it... but it got stolen after 5 weeks... it took me 3 months to settle with insurance and find the same colour but now I got it with Level 1 equipment group and split tailgate. I love this truck for how smooth it is on the road. I have Mercedes Benz E class with air suspension and this truck drives same if not better. If you are looking for luxury, smooth ride and power this is the truck!
Thank you for the info and sorry about the theft. I have been GMC/Chevy all of my life. But with the last two GMC's having rear Dif and Trans issues, I think I'll be buying a Dodge. I have heard 0 complaints from 3 different friends.
I own the ram limited 1500 and nothing out there is as overall nice. From the ride quality to the sound inside just quiet as heck. Seats are the most comfortable ive ever sat in and at 54 yrs old ive been in some vehicles. The ram bolsters a heads up display, panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled rear seats that recline. I even opted for the split gate and wow that makes life so much easier. Ram beats them all most comfortable and most innovated high tech luxury interior...ram wins again
The Denali is a much better looking truck all around, also forgot to mention that the Denali has hidden storage on the backrest of the rear seats as well.
So will many nice features one day and the air ride can be deleted back to springs, if one doesn’t want to repair or replace. The air ride works great in warmer climates and can easily see 200k miles. An option we’ll worth it for its usefulness.
I have the 2023 Sierra Denali ultimate in titanium rush gray, and I absolutely LOVE it! My only 2 complaints that I have is I wish it had height adjustable air suspension (but magnetic ride works well too) as well as a panoramic sunroof. It’s like driving a Cadillac Escalade with a bed
Have a 22 Ram Limited I had custom made and I love it. Especially since I got 0% for 48 months. Almost like a second mortgage payment 😅. 12 Down 36 to go.
Ive been a Ram guy for my last 2 trucks. I looked at Denalis for my 3rd truck. I think they have a better looking exterior. However, the Ram is the king of interiors, and thats where I spend my time. I went with a Limited Longhorn. However, this new "ultimate" trim gets pretty close. The Denali just doesnt look or feel as luxurious when its all said and done.
As an owner of a GMC Yukon Denali XL and a Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn I can say that the Ram rides better, has a more luxurious interior and overall is a little better, but GMC does have some things that the Ram does not, like lane departure warnings. The storage space, phone charger, dash screen, and pano sunroof simply can’t be beat and that is why I drive my Ram pickup more than my Denali.
A friend of mine works for dodge and told me to stay away from the new rams because of electrical issues. Owned both sierra and ram. Both are good but slight edge to gmc. Hated the blendoor actuators on rams very annoying
I have 2 friends that bought new Rams that have had nothing but trouble. I was riding with one of them back home to SC from Charlotte and his damn headlights quit working so we had to get a hotel for the night. Couldn't really drive 5 hours south home with no lights lol. His stereo kept shitting the bed. Dealer replaced the stereo 1 or 2x. They also have issues with blowing head gaskets with the Hemi and oil pump issues with those Hemis. It isn't just Rams with the electrical issues though its across the board. I know people that have had nothing but trouble with their Jeeps with electrical gremlins too.
Looked at both extensively before purchasing in late 2022. Went with a Ram Limited Night Edition. Interior sealed the deal for me. That’s where I spend my time. GMC seems like they’re trying so hard with the exterior….to me.
This is a very close call. Like extremely close. It’ll come down to the individual’s personal preference on small things to determine which is their pick I believe. I thought I was gonna like the Denali more as a Ram driver, but after seeing this, I’ll definitely be upgrading from my 2013 Laramie to either a Limited or Longhorn current gen.
i have owned half a dozen RAM longhorn 1500's over the past 10 years - super reliable, super comfortable & luxurious. I bought a mercedes S class - 2020 a few months ago - and its been one issue after another. I miss my RAM honestly.
I drove both trucks . My deciding favtor was the rams rear seat recline and the gmc do not. I love the large Grill of the GMC. I ADDED A rock deflector on my hood to give a more larger effect on my ram.
I get you but wow I hate to admit it I’m buying the GMC for the grill and interiors color/trim. I hate the knob shifter too. I’ll miss that Mercedes type ride though.
I love my 2019 Laramie 1500, brought it in 2019 ( before Biden and COVID) used for 42k,. It had 13000 on the odometer and right now it's the best truck in world. It's almost paid off...
@@christophersmith4658 i wouldnt say ugly as hell, but the Ram definitely looks better to me. I do like the wheels on the GMC and some of the front grille, but overall that Ram is the sh!t
Maybe to the eye, but the GMC’s materials can’t compare. It’s made of milk jugs and bubble gum compared to the Ram’s solid build quality, not to mention it’s ride and build quality.
Great video , I have a questions on the 2500 . I presently own a 2017 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins I love that truck , I’m Ready to get a new truck 2500 but don’t know which to get Ram Limited or Denali Ultimate (which I have ordered) but still not in production. I’m in agriculture so I use these trucks for business and also for family road trips ( I do plan to keep the 2017 and add it to my fleet) which should I get ?
On the 2500 I would go with the ram ,I was all Great Mountain Climber with 6.6 gas UNTIL I found out about the oil burning , one quart per 100 gallons of gas is what GM says is normal, and even more if you are towing. Just can’t have a brand new truck that I have to fill it up with oil every time I check the gas😅
@@Ur504CubanI had a 2023 Denali but was very disappointed with the ride and interior. Ended up trading it in for a 2024 Ram 1500 Limited. The Ram is better in every aspect expect for looks in my opinion
@mikesanythingoutdoors9153 That's main reason I bought the GMC for its front end. My coworkers don't like my new Ram they say it doesn't look as good as my old one which is my GMC Sierra 1500
The air suspension really has nothing to do with the ride quality. It's more about leveling of the truck. The big reason for the difference in the ride is the 5- Link coil-over rear suspension in the Ram vs the leaf springs in the GMC. The magnetic ride in the GMC helps make up for it, but if you drive a GMC without the magnetic ride it is vastly different than the Ram. For strictly ride quality, the coil over will have a better overall experience, you will give up payload capacity in the Ram with the coil-over design vs. Ford and GM. I haven't driven the new raptor with the coil-over design to compare to the Ram but would assume it's an improvement.
@@krane15 not sure what you mean by minimum level. If you're comparing normal ride height on a limited vs a stock ram laramie let's say, with no air suspension. You will have the same "ride" setup. If you adjust the air suspension up or down you will have an impact on the dampening and travel of the suspension which will be noticeable, hence why suspension modes are limited by travel speed. The idea behind my argument is that ram figured it out for ride quality by going to the 5 link system, as did Toyota and Ford in the Raptor.
Close to $90K for a near-luxury truck? My heart won't allow me to release that much money on a rolling asset. This is before including the taxes (10% in CA), fuel, insurance, and maintenance expenses. Welcome to America.
@@LilRick96 Have you ever been to California? The weather tends to be great most of the year. I can walk to everything within 5 minutes. All the boutique auto brands have dealerships in my neighborhood. It is an affluent area and the quality of life is very good. While many in the fly-over states spend their disposable income on cars, toys, and dining because they are bored, in my area you are not afraid of the police and they are quick to come. Don't fall victim to the memes you see on the Internet as it is not reflective of the entire state and every city.
I'm driving a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 crew cab with the 6.0 liter gas engine. Loaded out it cost $45k when i bought new in 2007. Seeing new trucks costing $85k just makes me shake my head. Its crazy how expensive puck ups are.
ya, GMC has lost its mind with its prices, went to 6 different dealers in LA and the cheapest GMC monthly was $1800 with 3k down on a 84 month lease....So i went and bought a S580 coupe instead..
Please qualify ur assessment on GM quality- U can't. Weird coming from a company (GMC) that just laid/furloughed off 10,000 from its truck workforce and told the rest to beef up their quality standards or they are gone. RAM focuses on high end and luxury trucks not like GM is another factor to consider in ur purchase decision not from what granpa " keith" posits.
Good comparison that would be even better if you would have tested the volume models with gas engine instead of diesel. I have a loaded RAM & love it, but the Sierra looks better.
I bought the 2023 ram limited elite. Did not even look at the GMC given 4 others I knew bought the RAM. It’s an awesome truck. Great luxury, comfortable on long trips and great utility. Have the split tailgate and that’s the best. So much space for gear and storage. With 5.7 hemi getting close to 21 mpg Highway. Great for V8. Had Range Rover before this and the truck rides better with the air suspension. Highly recommend this truck.
A few things, the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate has the magnetic ride control which is GM exclusive, the rear seat storage and under seat storage, the seats in the back provide more leg room and is more ergonomically correct, the Sierra has 12 camera (possible 15) views compared to Rams 6 views, the towing control and accessibility on the Sierra is geared to both veteran and new towing customers, the storage capacity in the Sierra’s short bed is better then the standard box on the Ram and Ford trucks, I think you skimped the Sierra out of a lot of points that it should’ve had. And another point is the professional/luxury looks and exclusive look the Sierra has over the Ram
If you want something closer to a car buy the Ram, if you want something a bit more masculine and truck like buy the GMC. Tests like this are very subjective and either could come out on top depending on the reviewers hot buttons. Each have their strong points but both are impressive. Honestly just comes down to buyer preference... for me it would be the GMC due to it's rugged good looks and stronger powertrain options.
RAM is the king for three reasons: 1. Power Adjusting Pedals (some people might be shorter or taller than others; so, this is a very important feature that provides a safer and more comfortable driving experience), 2. Full Air Suspension System of The RAM which gives a more pleasant experience to the driver and the rest of the coworkers while going through the bumpy roads or going off road, 3. The Positively Cavernous Interior Storage of The RAM (that's what most construction workers need in order to place and classify their tools).
I like the denali ultimate better but I am easily in RAM'S team . Ram is more better and more comfortable luxury car . It is the best 👌 for me . RAM really deserves to be the best pickup truck and Deserves to be the king of luxury more than Denali , In steering wheel and system only I am Denali's team , in others I am RAM tesm
Don't be fooled by the 13 vs 12 inch screen. Ram's screen is still bigger, it has more total size because it is a more "square" aspect ratio whereas GM's is wider but much less high (rectangular). High school math: multiply width x height to get total square area. Visually you can easily see how much more total space the Ram gives you vs the GM. You also forgot to mention Ram's headlights turn in the same direction that you turn the steering wheel.
It was very interesting how the points were calculated. It has me wondering... at 6:25 in 1 whole point was added to the Ram for center console being a little bigger but skipped over the fact the Ram has a weird gear dial. If anything they should have canceled each other out. The Denali also didn't get any points for having a quieter interior while driving 55 mph. The bottom line if you favor a more soft feminine look go with the Ram and if you like a bold masculine look go with the Denali
I am intrigued by the 3.0 diesel in the ultimate. However, research shows it has quite a bit of upkeep maintenance involved. Is this true? I will not be towing but the fuel mileage is great for a truck.
Besides they have had some issues with oil pumps and head gaskets with the 5.7. I have 2 friends that bought new Rams that have had nothing but electrical issues. One had to have his back to the dealership at least 4 times the first couple months he had it. I was riding with him back home from Charlotte and the headlights quit working so we had to stop for the night since we had about a 5 hour drive south to come home kinda hard to do in the dark when your lights don't work lol. Besides his stereo kept quitting too they replaced that 1 or 2x. This was a 17 or 18 I think its been 5-6 years. I know I bought one a few years ago that was a repo that had a blown head gasket. I bought it just to sell since I am a dealer but that is an issue that isn't uncommon. One of the guys that works for me is a Dodge nut so I specifically bought him 2 Rams and neither lasted him long. The first one was a really nice truck too. It was my neighbors and he bought a new truck and I bought his old one from him. It was a cheaper truck 2wd but it was a nice truck. I had to replace the plugs and the radiator and sold it to the guy that worked for me for $100 over what I had in it and he blew the damn thing up in less then a year then I got him another at auction and the ECU needed replacing within a few months so I took it back to the auction and got rid of it let somebody else deal with that shit. Then I got a 2014 Silverado at the auction he had to have and he has loved that truck. He sure hasn't taken care of it though. He doesn't work for us anymore but I still see him every now and then and I sold him that truck probably 4 years ago now and I don't think he has washed it since lol.
Here in Australia we don’t have access to the GMC 1500 but this looks great. In saying that I’m very happy with my limited and the night edition makes it more appealing on the eye.
I just drove ram limited 2021 and new gms 2024, gms look batter for me but the ram drive much batter and gives you way more luxury feeling, back seat is way more conformable, i am still confused i don't know which one to buy
Ram looks better overall, GMC looks beefier. The biggest difference is powertrain, the GMC's 6.2 V8 and 3.0 Diesel with 10 speeds are far superior to Rams old 5.7 Hemi 8 speed. GMC still isnt available with a pano roof, Ram still isnt available with massage seats. Pros and cons to the air suspension/coils in the Ram vs. the traditional rear leafs in the GMC. Both trucks are awesome, but I think the GMC edges it out for me. Cant beat that 6.2 V8.
Would love a fully decked out truck, but the average American like me can’t afford the $85,000 to $90,000 luxury truck unfortunately. If I could only win Powerball or mega millions!!!
I’m usually a “Trash Talker” but after watching the video there was nothing negative to say, these trucks are awesome! So I am happy I didn’t hurt anyone feelings forcing them to hit the “Report button..” 🤗
I really like the touch screen in the dodge but that dial shifter placement is going to keep them in 3rd place amongst the big 3. At that point just go back to column shifting.
GMC has better "Real world" economy, that's been proven on TFL, not mention other channels. So with that said, I think the scoring would be even. These are very evenly matched trucks :-) I think in 5 years the GMC will hold its value better and be more reliable. From what I've' heard on the issues with the Ram and my history with air suspensions, the magna-ride is way more reliable.
I have had a few cars in the past with air ride and had nothing but trouble with them. I just bought a 23 Ultimate today. I have drove one of these Rams before too and I didn't notice that much difference in ride quality besides the experiences I have had with electrical and other issues with Mopar stuff before. I like the look of the Ram just with the head gaskets, oil pumps, electrical issues and all. I have always been a GM guy anyway but I do like the Ram but the stuff I have seen I probably wouldn't buy a Ram.
Both are beautiful trucks! I grew up a GM guy, but after buying my first Ram in 2015, I quickly switched. Now I have a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition, and I can’t see going any other route from what I have seen in the market. I’ve had plenty of GM and Ford drivers see my truck and consider the switch in all honesty. The way they are making these trucks is beyond ridiculous!
You can't lose with either one of these trucks. I like the Ram better, but I would especially love to have those messaging front seats in the Ram.
Wait I thought he said specifically the ram didn’t have messaging seats🤔………I know the Denali does?

Yep they tried so hard with the exterior and forgot about the interior
This is a very close call. Like extremely close. It’ll come down to the individual’s personal preference on small things to determine which is their pick I believe. I thought I was gonna like the Denali more as a Ram driver, but after seeing this, I’ll definitely be upgrading from my 2013 Laramie to either a Limited or Longhorn current gen.
i have owned half a dozen RAM longhorn 1500's over the past 10 years - super reliable, super comfortable & luxurious. I bought a mercedes S class - 2020 a few months ago - and its been one issue after another. I miss my RAM honestly.
The tailgate and nose of truck on the GMC much better.... and I prefer the horizontal screen integration on interior over a tablet slab tacked on.
Denali on looks alone, wins this competition
Ram lifted with night edition is badass in the gray
Facts Denali wins
Always at a cross, GMC has way better looks but Ram 1500 limited has better interior....😢
I have to give it to The SIERRA DENALI I think on looks and interior. But at the end of the day it's all about personal choice
The 2023 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate is the winner for me though I am a little bias because I have had Denali before overall great truck 💪💪
Definitely the DENALI!!!😊
I love my 2019 Laramie 1500, brought it in 2019 ( before Biden and COVID) used for 42k,. It had 13000 on the odometer and right now it's the best truck in world. It's almost paid off...
I have a 2019 RAM Limited and people still say holy smokes this nice every time.
GMC looks far more. aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
No way it's ugly as hell while the ram is absolutely beautiful
@@christophersmith4658 i wouldnt say ugly as hell, but the Ram definitely looks better to me. I do like the wheels on the GMC and some of the front grille, but overall that Ram is the sh!t
Maybe to the eye, but the GMC’s materials can’t compare. It’s made of milk jugs and bubble gum compared to the Ram’s solid build quality, not to mention it’s ride and build quality.
You need glasses😂!
I would love to see a similar video for the Ram 1500 vs Ford F150. Great video.
The exterior of the gmc looks way better then the ram imo
That alone is 2 points!!
Yeah, I loved my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT but I traded it infor 2023 Ram 1500 cause of ride comfort and interior. So far so good.
@@Ur504CubanI had a 2023 Denali but was very disappointed with the ride and interior. Ended up trading it in for a 2024 Ram 1500 Limited. The Ram is better in every aspect expect for looks in my opinion
The GMC looks goofy up front, they keep making the grill bigger an bigger😂
@mikesanythingoutdoors9153 That's main reason I bought the GMC for its front end. My coworkers don't like my new Ram they say it doesn't look as good as my old one which is my GMC Sierra 1500
Went with Ram, it also has not shown RamBox storage, new Limited Elite package and far superior ride with Air Suspension at 4 different levels.
You guys kill me. Everyone's so competitive with their answers. 😂
I don't think any magnetic ride struts make it past 60k....
Close to $90K for a near-luxury truck? My heart won't allow me to release that much money on a rolling asset. This is before including the taxes (10% in CA), fuel, insurance, and maintenance expenses. Welcome to America.
💯🎯
Well you're in Cali, the worst place to live in America. But I still get where you're coming from.
@@LilRick96 Have you ever been to California? The weather tends to be great most of the year. I can walk to everything within 5 minutes. All the boutique auto brands have dealerships in my neighborhood.

The Denali just look so much better!!!
I purchased the dodge Ram 1500 long horn with ram box. Truck is amazing
I'm a ram guy but I think finally gm out did them, it only took them a decade or more
Ram kills it, best truck ever built in history
Thank you I’ve been losing it trying to figure which one between these two and you just helped me decide thankyou For me it’s Denali
Glad we could help!
Our new Ram Limited Night Edition will be here in 2 weeks. Can't wait
I'm driving a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 crew cab with the 6.0 liter gas engine. Loaded out it cost $45k when i bought new in 2007. Seeing new trucks costing $85k just makes me shake my head. Its crazy how expensive puck ups are.
Inflation
@@joelbautista04 you mean greed
ya, GMC has lost its mind with its prices, went to 6 different dealers in LA and the cheapest GMC monthly was $1800 with 3k down on a 84 month lease....So i went and bought a S580 coupe instead..
When manufacturing quality comes into play I would take the GMC. Ram/Dodge/Chrysler known for having more gremlins and issues.
Ram looks better. And I’ve been a GM man my whole life. And the Ram rides way better.
GMC all day long!! On looks and dependability hands down
GMC front end looks so much better
Good comparison that would be even better if you would have tested the volume models with gas engine instead of diesel. I have a loaded RAM & love it, but the Sierra looks better.
Nice video. 5.5 Ram all day! Don't get me wrong the Denali is a great truck😎.
Only reason I'm going w/ ram over gmc is pano roof. Not sure why GMC hasn't implemented pano roof. ram, ford, toyota all offer it.
I love both of them! I don’t know which one I would choose
They’re so cheap you could buy one each😂
What a wonderful comparison video..!! Great job..!! thank yopu.
Glad you liked it!
Ultimate Denali GMC is my choice ❤
Just bought my 3rd Ram truck, 2023 Limited, and with the new air suspension it is amazing to drive!
Ram Nation for life!
GMC Nation FOR LIFE
A few things, the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate has the magnetic ride control which is GM exclusive, the rear seat storage and under seat storage, the seats in the back provide more leg room and is more ergonomically correct, the Sierra has 12 camera (possible 15) views compared to Rams 6 views, the towing control and accessibility on the Sierra is geared to both veteran and new towing customers, the storage capacity in the Sierra’s short bed is better then the standard box on the Ram and Ford trucks, I think you skimped the Sierra out of a lot of points that it should’ve had.
Nice review ! Ram also had a larger fuel tank … this is big for me when towing
Hands down the new refreshed GMC.
You never mentioned the seat storage in the sierra so it should’ve been tied going into the drive
GMC still loses to Ram Air Suspension
I am intrigued by the 3.0 diesel in the ultimate. However, research shows it has quite a bit of upkeep maintenance involved. Is this true? I will not be towing but the fuel mileage is great for a truck.
Great comparison review
I love the fact that ram has reclining rear seat I think they are the only ones who do it. Unless im wrong 🤷🏻♂️
RAM RULES!
Which one will break down faster? Usually RAM has more electrical gremlins than other vehicles.
GM tailgate is NO good if towing. Super cruise REQUIRES a monthly subscription fee!! GM NO 12 volt outlet.
Here in Australia we don’t have access to the GMC 1500 but this looks great. In saying that I’m very happy with my limited and the night edition makes it more appealing on the eye.
RAM build 4 years ago, and still amazing. GMC 2023 much better then 2019, but add some options will be good
The GMC has more options
GMC denali is the best-looking truck on the road, hands down there are no comparison.
Would love a fully decked out truck, but the average American like me can’t afford the $85,000 to $90,000 luxury truck unfortunately. If I could only win Powerball or mega millions!!!
GMC Denali, the brand just carries more prestige. Throw in Super Cruise, with towing, inline diesel, 10 speed... its not even a contest
I’m would be curious to know how these two rate against a top of the line Ford F-150.
I’m usually a “Trash Talker” but after watching the video there was nothing negative to say, these trucks are awesome! So I am happy I didn’t hurt anyone feelings forcing them to hit the “Report button..” 🤗
Air suspension is disposal and has a high failure rate if you're looking for longevity.
It’s absolutely useless in cold climates
I really like the touch screen in the dodge but that dial shifter placement is going to keep them in 3rd place amongst the big 3. At that point just go back to column shifting.
I managed to get my 23 gmc with a column shifter and it’s still pretty loaded with a 5.3
Wrong ! I like the shifter a lot ! It gives me a lot of room in the center console !
I have a 21 Laramie longhorn love it however would like to have the hands free cruise control and massage seats
Seems like such a small thing, but man the RAM has SOOO much more center console storage space... the dual compartment + front, so much stuff...
Both are simply great but the Denali Ultimate is my dream truck.
Mine too
Ram started the big grill back in the 90s. Now every brand does it. Oyeah and the dual pipes lol
The perfect truck - GMC exterior (with air suspension) and RAM interior.
GMC 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
GMC has better "Real world" economy, that's been proven on TFL, not mention other channels. So with that said, I think the scoring would be even. These are very evenly matched trucks :-) I think in 5 years the GMC will hold its value better and be more reliable. From what I've' heard on the issues with the Ram and my history with air suspensions, the magna-ride is way more reliable.
And they didn’t give a half or a point for the 10 speed over the 8 speed in the ram! 😒
Put the limited in a night edition and it blows the looks of the gmc out the water
Not that it matters much, but I guess I’m confused about why, when it came to the driving portion, you drove a regular Denali instead of the Ultimate.
Ram ❤ and GMC ❤
Ram trucks all the way !!
Nothing beats a GMC. Not even its brother Chevrolet. ❤
RAM beats it
@@jamborginiii1732 ram can't even beat a ladybug.
That Denali is beautiful… but when it comes to attention to detail and design. Ram still king.
