- Another company closes without notice. The Sunday Rant is disgusted by this. Drivers have not been paid and some said they were being asked to buy fuel with their own credit cards and wait for payback. There are so many cases of this. When you are not paid and the company has no fuel money they are broke. Be ready, this could happen to anyone. I wonder if the drivers will ever be paid their last check? I doubt it.

12,000 for the conversion van. Finally a home I can afford
My homes faster than your home😂
Happens every time
The son was probably like Colin Farrell's character in Horrible Bosses 😂..
I can't believe that there's not laws in place to pay any employee, if the company shuts down. Not just trucking, ANY company. They worked, they're owed that time, they're owed that money.
There is. It's called bankruptcy. You can file a claim just like everybody else owed money and the court will decide who gets what. Or, it they just closed without filing bankruptcy then you can sue in civil court.
My motto was if the pay check does not bounce, it's a good trucking job! 🚛
The saying goes, "Tough times create strong men, strong men create easy times, Easy times create weak men, Weak men create tough times..." I guess they're on the last part of the cycle 😂
I do dig the conversion van !
The trucking industry is so over saturated , we need a lot less drivers , carriers , brokers and freight forwarders
NOT looking back......GONE!!!!
Why am I not surprised by this!
I'm surprised TransAm hasn't shut down yet
They have a Big Sister name ‘National Carriers’ in Liberal Kansas that backs them up.
Ohhh. The minute DD stops, I’m out.
The only fuel I’m buying is to get me home. And only if that is the cheapest option
Hell no never fuel company truck with your own dime and no pay no move truck
Right hand drive, WTF.
Part out the truck.
This is another reason we need to unite! We have to be protected from these mis-managed companies that close without notice!!!
It's getting bad here in the U.S.!!! Trucking companies are closing down every other week seems like 🤔🧐🧐!!! Jobs are general on the brink or with low wage pay!!! The job industry here is gonna get smothered because of all of the illegals coming across the border and with that said, Low wage pay or not enough to survive in this over inflating economy...
if drivers dont get paid then theres no money 2 buy the conversion van, lol.
When it's time to move on. It time to move on. A great thing about having a Class A CDL license, you are golden and time is very valuable
If anyone from that company is wondering, when a company declares bankruptcy the first to get paid are employees. It may take a year but they're first in line.
No pay me, no work me.
Hey Mark on the way back home just stop and fill my truck up with your personal money and hey grab me a sandwich while you're at it😂
Reverse camera angle
I read the owner of Tony's did this at another company before. Also, he is looking to buy a different company now.
Who would pay for there fuel as a company driver, who is that stupid
What's up brother!
I couldn't count how many companies have disappeared over the last 35 years. Some are good about it and get all the chickens to roost. And some just leave em to the wolves
Good luck man
I can't believe people would use their. Own money old adage I always followed I NEVER pay to work
They won't pay you.
I need to know where that van is at
Lafayette Indiana at the dealership near WABASH Trailers off US-52.
@@Solitaryman70 which one do you know
@@flowboy78 Not sure 🤔 the name of the dealership, I would check the closest Chevy dealer closest to WABASH trailers, Not the Big one where the finished trailers are where the drivers go to pick them up. It’s the one in the middle of Lafayette, I believe there’s an Arco gas station across the street from where Mark does his videos. My guess is it should be very easy to find unless Mark switched dealerships, once he accidentally showed the blue neon lights and the Arco gas station in the background, that’s how I know he’s in Lafayette Indiana on US-52 near Wabash trailers. BTW, that is a good looking Van.
@Solitaryman70 I checked I swear every dealership in that town and I can't find squat but I'll keep trying. And yes that van is 1 in 1000000. Thanks 4 the info 👍
It's down by the river.
They close because they can’t make payroll. The employees will get their pay from the bankruptcy trustee. There’s going to be more carriers fail.
There’s always the option to live in a van down by the river.
What company was this?
Vandownbytheriver..
Anyone know what happened to Transport America? Sorry, I've been out of the loop.
I believe CFI bought them out
Jus take the truck
😂😅
I can't believe the gullibility of some of those driver's...let alone the size of the NUTS on the company's personnel for even asking such a thing towards a driver!
If it was me, hell - the only question that I would ask is: "Are you serious?"
And if that answer is yes, i will then proceed to end the call, laugh all the way back to the company, park their truck, take pictures of the truck, hop in my whip &bounce to crib to begin my NEW job search!
...in that order!
Fuhk that company!
🫡😅✌🏽😇🫡
But he told me he loved me.
😂
