I mix Tuna with Crushed Pineapple, Frozen Peas & Mayo.
For children I scoop out a bit of the inside of a Hot Dog Bun add the Tuna mix and top with shredded Cheese. Broil or Bake until the Cheese melts.
Top with a toasted Bun Top.
For Adults I use Short Sub Rolls.
Bon Appetit
Sounds really good especially in this heatwave. Will try, thanks.
AG's tip to stock small jars of mayo is a great one.
Tuna cold shell pasta salad.
Pasta, vegies from pantry or garden, chopped pickles. Mayo.
I have stocked from Dollar Tree 12 small jars of mayo and 12 Miracle Whip all with Dec. 2025 best by date.
You can also use tuna with a bit of tomato sauce , olive oil, garlic and fresh parsley at the end without the lemon and it will also be very good and easy! We eat it a lot here in Italy!
One of my favorite quick meals is cooked pasta with a can of tuna and Italian dressing! I usually eat it as a cold dish because I am not a fan of hot canned tuna.
That looks good and a good way to use your pantry items. Chicken would be good if you don't like tuna. I might add some green peas.
Thanks for sharing.
My quick pantry meal tonight was 3 toasted slices of the canned B & M brown bread; and 2 slices of fried spam. I buttered the bread and spread grape 🍇 jelly on it. It was delicious! I’m getting myself used to making and eating some of the food I have stocked for emergencies. 😊
Yum! If i lived in Alaska i would love to be a guest at your table.🙂. I add tuna to mac n cheese or make cold pasta salad with tuna. The only other tuna dishes i make are tuna sandwhiches, tuna melts .
If you are cooking pasta and tuna for someone who does not like the fishy taste of tuna, simmer some tomato-type pasta sauce and stir in the tuna, garlic and some dried basil or oregano or Italian seasoning and mix this with the cooked pasta. The tomatoes in the sauce will neutralize the fishy flavor of tuna.
Awesome awesome sharing dear friend ❤️

Super big big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍
See you again take care, keep intouch ❤️❤❤❤
I make a creamed tuna, over pasta or toast, make a white sauce, add tuna, peas, and sliced hard boiled egg.
I make a similar recipe. No egg. Creamed peas and tunaover toast was a budget meal growing up. Still make it occasionally I add somecheese
Growing up too, on meatless Fridays.
This reminds me of clam sauce.
I like putting in frozen peas or fresh English Peas(from trader Joe). I also add canned Artichoke hearts to the pasta with Basil Alfredo sauce. I only like Tuna in sandwiches..
Creamed tuna over toast, or biscuits. Throw in a can of peas if you have them. Cheap, delicious, and filling.
I do a tuna casserole with Mushroom soup, vegies, cheese, and bread crumbs on top. This is backed in the oven. It can be done on top of the stove but we like it best in the oven, the pasta and sauce gets thicker the chees melts then the bread crumbs get crunchy.
