@Beth Richardson Funny you should say that because growing up, one of my favorite dishes my mom would make was Creamed Tuna on Toast, and it always had peas in it. I still love and make it to this day. Haven’t made it in a while so thanks for reminding me !👍
I just now found you! I love the way you tell about the cheese. Really, I also love your beautiful clean kitchen. You are just super!I think you will be a big Chanel …..nobody else explains why they are adding the herbs!
I enjoy your stories most when you share your times growing up and how your mom was a great influence in what you are today . I hope you can invite her to one of your videos.
Sounds delicious! I’ve been craving tuna casserole so I might have to give in to my cravings after watching this! I get a little “fancy” with my tuna casserole and add white wine as well as water chestnuts for some added crunch! Delicious! 😋🥰😋
OMG, this was soooo good... I was out of a few things and had to improvise but its still delish! I also sautéed baby Bellas and red and yellow bell peppers diced into tiny pieces. WOW, I am saving this recipe!
I literally just got finished making this recipe. I will never go back to making any other type of tuna casserole, but this. I thoroughly enjoy this recipe. Everything is perfectly blended and I love the fact that everything was fresh.
Yummy, I am going to attempt to make it, I am also sending it to my sister with the Spanish caption because she doesn’t speak English, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your recipes, home decor and 🪴 garden you are truly amazing! THANK YOU…!!!
I definitely do not used canned soup anymore for my tuna noodle casserole. I make some different choices. I use egg noodles instead of pasta, water from the tuna can instead of stock, roux from butter, flour and milk, i use finely sliced green onions. I dont do cheese but I do use buttered bread crumb topping. The dining hall at university had a really good tuna casserole. Mom never made it when I was growing up. .
This looks pretty darn good. I’ll definitely try it. I have to say though I have my own recipe which includes sautéed mushrooms and Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup and I love it. Comfort food right. Whatever makes you happy. ❤
Yum ... haven't had a tuna casserole in years !! This would also be great with chicken or even as a veggie dish ... so easy & versatile ... well done 😁
Thanks for another great looking recipe Kaleb. I have shyed away from tuna casserole in the past few years because of the canned soup and some times I don't want to heat up the house by cranking up the oven. Can't wait to give this a try (and only one pan)!
@@sophiemorrison9820 don't like to use them because it feels like cheating when you're a home cook who's trying to improve their skills, but I have on occasion where the taste of a nostalgic recipe requires it, and I'd be lying if I said they didn't give you a good result.
Omg Kaleb I’m here eating watermelon and you’re fixing this casserole, that looks delicious I may say. I can’t wait to make this! This would be delicious reheated I think which is good for leftovers. Thanks for another good one Kaleb!
nice. interesting with no cream of mushroom soup and american cheese slices. i make on stovetop but i use the soup and the cheese. i shall try yours now.
I was in the process of sending you a message but lost what I was typing so here goes again. Sounds like an absolutely delectable one pot tuna noodle casserole. Did you find bread crumbs without chemicals? I have not but will continue to keep looking to make meatballs, meatloaf & zucchini parmesan. I have been buying Progresso Italian Breadcrumbs! Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. One that is worth the effort & like how you just add the peas from the frig!
This looks totally delicious!! it would be perfect for my weekly 'Gathering of the Family" for Sunday dinner. However...I'll have to use chicken since my grandson is (severely) allergic to fin fish.
This is definitely elevated. Celery is a hard pass for me but mushrooms and S and tons of P. I haven’t used a cream based soup from a can in years, but I do make a home made version. I also keep a dry mix that is the base of cream of “whatever” in my pantry for even more convenience. Tuna noodle casserole is so nostalgic for me that making something that deviates too far from what I am expecting just is a bowl full of sadness to me.
Your tuna casserole looks so delectable! I am wondering if you make your own bread crumbs or what brand you have found at the store that does not have a paragraph of chemicals! Also, so many tuna noodle casserole recipes call for soup that is processed so I wouldn't purchase! A bright idea to add cheese to give the creamy consistency to your casserole. Definately, a recipe I would like to try. Thanks, for your enjoyable video that went at a reasonable pace!
I certainly understand that. I can’t eat peas alone, but I’ve found I like them mixed into a recipe like this or in a pasta dish with garlic and parmesan.
So who turns a tuna casserole into a gourmet dish! YOU!
I like sautéed mushrooms in mine :)
Love tuna casserole and to me the frozen peas is the finishing touch
@Beth Richardson

I love how you write your recipes with the ingredients included in the directions with a more subtle font .
I love that dustpan thing you scooped up the onions with.
The best of three recipes on UTUBE!
Love tuna casserole. Will definitely have to try this recipe! 😋
I just now found you! I love the way you tell about the cheese. Really, I also love your beautiful clean kitchen. You are just super!I think you will be a big Chanel …..nobody else explains why they are adding the herbs!
We love your shows!

You are adorable and made this so easy!
Made it with leftover rice and it worked very well. Thanks for another great recipe.
Thank you for such wonderful and relatable videos. You use ingredients that I usually have at our home:)
I bet it makes good leftovers, too. Thanks Kaleb!
I made this tonight for dinner. Wow, so delicious!!! Thank you.
mmmmm, my mother made me this as a child. but she did use cream of celery soup for thickness. looks delicious

I'm going to try this recipe with oat milk and oat cream, maybe even make my own chicken stock. Thanks for the idea, love one pot suppers!
Yum! Lemon zest, interesting. New concept for me but sounds good. I'll try it some time.💙
Sounds super and easy...YUM!!!
We made this tonight and it was so easy and delicious! Thanks for sharing
Thank you. This looks great! I’ll make it soon. Tuna Helper just doesn’t cut it. 😊
Thanks for talking about the additives in shredded cheese! Blech! I always shred my own too because of that.
Oh Kaleb…. You are amazing!
I just made this, and oh my word! It tastes amazing!!!
l have been looking for a good Tuna casserole for ages...tried many ...but l made this one ...and this is tops !
Good recipe. Easy and delicious!
Great recipe
Celery has natural salt too. Love that pot that you use!
Thanks for another great looking recipe Kaleb. I have shyed away from tuna casserole in the past few years because of the canned soup and some times I don't want to heat up the house by cranking up the oven. Can't wait to give this a try (and only one pan)!
I have a distaste for using canned soups in a recipe because of the high sodium. I'm happy to see a cleaner version of a tuna casserole.

Gonna try this. Looks yummy.
Nice!
Going to try this. Thank you!
I love the way you cook. I had to subscribe 🤗
I’m with Alex Guarnacelli! Use the lemon juice, not just zest! I like my tuna sautéed with veggies.
Yummy!
Nice, I will be making it for supper tonight
Omg Kaleb I’m here eating watermelon and you’re fixing this casserole, that looks delicious I may say. I can’t wait to make this! This would be delicious reheated I think which is good for leftovers. Thanks for another good one Kaleb!

Staple of growing up - served with crescent rolls!

Yummo
I’ll make this with my home canned chicken!
I thought about substituting chicken also😊
Omg yes ! 😊 thnx.
Thank u for not using canned soup!
Too many people use canned soup
Right?? When I see any recipe calling for canned soup (especially cream of mushroom 🤢), I pass!
He’s not an “open up a can kind of guy”. Ugh! Lol. 😮
Really. I stop watching when they bring out the canned creamed soups.
Snobs.

Kaleb, why not bake some tuna or salmon to go with the rest of the 'not from a can' theme? Maybe add some capers?
Texas here we add jalapeño.
Made it this afternoon, hubby loved it but I will leave the lemon rind out next time.
It's the Zest of the lemon he used, not the rind that's the white part of the 🍋
😋😋😋😋
I hate cooked celery. I will cut larger so I can remove before I eat. 😳. I definitely would add more bread crumbs. Thanks for sharing.
jaz sem Slovenka in nerazumem tako dobro angleško.❤
what would you think of broccoli instead of peas? THANK YOU
Do you ever use jarred tuna?
Can I use cream cheese?
Looks great! (Except for peas, not my fave)🙂
I certainly understand that. I can’t eat peas alone, but I’ve found I like them mixed into a recipe like this or in a pasta dish with garlic and parmesan.
Peas are yum. I like eating them with butter and parmesan cheese.
For those of us with an iodine allergy, canned chicken makes a good substitution.
Could you do this with salmon?
Can I add mushrooms to this recipe because I mushrooms in my tuna noodle casserole
I really wanted to make this, but I didn't see any quantities in the recipe you linked.
The ingredients can all be found here: www.wyseguide.com/one-pot-stovetop-tuna-noodle-casserole/
Been looking for a one pan quick tuna casserole without canned cream of mushroom. I think I just found it.
I don't like tuna but I would replace it with chicken. Looks goog
Im curious if he serves his camera guy, too, after every video haha
Wait what about the mushrooms!!
Thank You for not using mushrooms 👍
Sorry to be a stickler but the eu in neufchatel is pronounced like the oo in foot, not like the ue in due.
It looks good, but it feels like a faux pantry meal given the lemons, fresh parsley, and specialty cheese.
Vegetable note ,,,really for celery ,,,omg , maybe crunch ,,,,its all water,,,,vegetable crunch .,,,lol
I don't like tuna but I'd use chicken instead
Not too much sodium!! Just a pinch don't throw the salt shaker in the pot😅😅😅
Real chicken is better not the sodium of canned and easy to prepare and put in casseroles. This recipe looks interesting
