I don't mind the real version, but the Tommo version is probably my favourite of the redesigns so far - the balance of the amount of green on the carbon black is a 10/10. Looking forward to Alpine launch next.

This is THE BEST livery you have done... ever. Period. It looks aggressive, it looks vicious, it looks... modern, it stands out.

I have to agree with this. It’s a freaking epic livery, but I would like more green just so it is clearer to see when they’re racing. Other than that absolute 🔥💥💥💥💥
Great redesign, just a little bit more color would be nice because this would be a carbon fibre brick with a green tint on screen

Your design is much more in line with what I expected from the livery this year. I think the green rear & front wings is something you should have carries over. Other than that, you nailed it, it really looks dope.

I think stake isn’t that low on the morality spectrum compared to other sponsors so I’m not sure why there’s a constant disapproval message

Hmm... while I don't mind the real life livery, and I do love your redesign, they both took different approaches on the green. Tbh, your livery is what I thought the IRL livery would be like lmao, where the green is just used as highlights and secondary stuff. The real life livery uses the green in parts to make it stand out (however the carbon DRS flap irl ruins the whole green aesthetic on the rear wing, and the front wing is probably too green).
Yeah they're a bit clumsy with the green to carbon transitions on the rear wing + nose for sure. It's good, but could be better.
As an Alfa/sauber/stake fan, I trusted the livery designers to cook, but I must say you cooked a 6star meal❤🔥

i don't condone gambling but on design alone, the real one is just so good... it has so much life and the mix of the gloss green and the matte black/carbon looks brilliant. for me, best on the grid so far.

To be fair, the real livery ain't bad but the amount of STAKE logo is kinda cringe. Like... we get it, STAKE.

@@axelode45 I disagree. I'm not saying that I think it looks really thought out but it doesn't look tacky to me. Abstract is how I would describe it but it's for that reason that I like it.

you should do a ranking of your redesigns the way you do them for the original liveries.
Also for this car, i think you should try the inverse. mostly green with the black swooshes and see what that looks like

I hated the real one, so this is a definite upgrade. Could have more green (but not wrongly placed as the real one), but it's a solid upgrade.

Mate this redesign is excellent i love it. Its clean and simple, black base with an extremely cool pattern of green lines, is amazing. On paper sounds like the same concept of the actual livery, but the execution of the idea is much better. Tommo, you have my like and 10/10!👍🏼

Love how you kept the ideas and shapes from the original, and just made it look so much sleeker! Also replacing all the Stake sponsorship with Sauber is a great touch lol.

Got to be honest, I personally was not a fan of your McLaren and Williams' redesigns as I am a fan of simple designs so I prefer the original ones. I like the redesign of Haas but it is a bit unrealistic to me when the black is clearly there due to weight saving and this is why I absolutely LOVE your take on this 💚 More black = more carbon (even more important to smaller teams) and not losing that distinguished green accent...absolute perfection and I 100% adore this!
There are actually 3 logos on the side because the front wing has one as well. Also they have it twice on the rear wing

Definitely my favourite of your redesigns so far this year. This is easily better than the actual livery. I think this year's will grow on me but this would have been better.
Absolutely love the ribbon running under the side pod on the real thing. Will be interested to see how well it stands out in daylight though. Your version has more bang than a blaze in a fireworks factory. Top stuff Tommo!

The font is phenomenal but I think it just lacks enough colour. Maybe some more colour blocks of green would make the redesign perfect.
Maybe if the green was chrome it wouldn't need anymore, haha

The re-design is georgious. But I was actually dissapointed about the real livery. I was expected something more agressive. Like how they advertised the entire launch from the start.
I noticed during the launch that they used a lot of "graffiti" graphics flashing on the screen. I hope we get to see in one of those special once-off liveries a designs where they use some sort of graffiti motif on the car - would looks pretty cool I think

I REALLY like your redesign, and to be honest, your design is what i was hoping the actual livery was going to be. I rate your design a 9.5/10 (might be too dark in some situations...might need more white?), and i rate the actual livery 8/10.
kinda wish they gave it a glossy look. it would look soo good in night races or a metallic look

BANGER. This is one of my favourite redesigns you've done Tommo. The original looks too much like a default livery in the F1 game, like they barely put any effort into it. But I love that neon green, its such a bedroom wall poster supercar colour.
You said it best... looks like it's moving fast while standing still. Love it.
Ah nice job man. Was kind of hoping for some colour block for a proper pop but I do like the neon light vibes. This feels more grown up in a good way. Tempted to try having a go at redesigning a livery myself now as a graphic designer!

Nailed yours even tho I would have put a lil bit more green (maybe on the front wing or the rear wing) but I really like the curved lines going around the car 🔥

AHHH THOMAS YOU'VE FOOKIN DONE IT AGAIN. This is what I wanted from the Sauber llivery. I was so excited about the reveal and then I kind of felt let down. I wanted something that looked like it was from Tron

This redesign is flames. It needs more green, but the design looks so fast, so "Venom" and even a bit of Tron. Muuuuch better than the real thing. It really just needs more green and it's the best livery on the grid
I think I would like it a little bit better if the lines were a little bit fatter to highlight the green more, but I’ve got to give it to you, this redesign is really cool and more importantly, super unique. Doesn’t feel like an out of the box typical livery.

This livery is fantastic! Though I had a slight chuckle at the realization of the SPEED RACER Mach 5 "M" in Green at the base of the Halo's front. It's pretty on brand for the emphasis on SPEED, but that isn't taking away anything from the rest of the design! Awesome work!

I really liked the original initially, but the longer I looked at it, the less I liked it. I still think its easily the best-looking car behind the McLaren for me thus far, but I dont like the green box-ish thing on the cowling. I wish they did a more flow-type thing with the design rather than plop a green box that conflicts with the cars smooth flowing shape. I wish your redesign had a bit more green. But overall its even better than the original. Somewhere between the original and yours in terms of green would be perfect lol. I think you corrected my main issue with it, which was those square lines on a otherwise flowing body line. I actually think I like your redesign more than your McLaren one. This might be topping the list for me this so far.
Also, I really appreciate your dislike of gambling sponsors. Its a really big problem and how freely theyre able to sponsor in sports is extremely frustrating. Its a insanely huge problem, and over the past 5ish years that theyve really been embraced by everything from Basketball, to Golf is absolutely horrible. Peoples lives are ruined everyday, and yeah ultimately its a decision a person makes to gamble, but like with every addiction to break it down to one singular person to person problem is in fact part of the problem. Its not easy to identify you have a problem and there are tons of factors that can contribute to a person gambling. What is quantifiable is the lives that are lost due to gambling addictions, the finanacial misery thats sustained because of gambling. People are losing their savings, barely making it paycheck to paycheck, losing their houses, wives, families because of gambling problems. The insane increase in companies that are selling sports gambling as a "game", the companies that have plastered their names on every bilboard in every sport and the eyes, and temptations it can fuel are quantifiable and theyre disturbing to say the least. Its also going to create a generation that sees gambling as just a game, a generation that is desensitized to gambling and more open to trying it. Not to mention the sheer accessibility and access to gambling we have now is just compounding everything. People kill themselves everyday because they lost everything gambling it away. Theses companies, nor the sporting federations and leagues arent doing enough to combat the losses their fans are suffering, nor are they helping prevent it from being a problem. Sorry, I rambled, but ultimately all that to say, I appreciate you being upfront and against sports gambling and the huge presence its taken up in the sports we love. I cant tell you how many people I know and have talked to participate, not realizing how much money theyre losing and the stress its causing. Not to mention it completely ruins the experience of watching a sport when youre constantly worried about how much money youre winning/losing.
