Could you please help me about color space?
When I input the RGB color values I obtained from Photoshop into Octane, it creates a lighter shade of the color. What should I do to achieve the exact color?
You probably need to go from SRGB from PS to linear color space in Octane
At first, real-time rendering worked, but later on, only the phrase "waiting for image" appears and real-time rendering does not work. I tried updating the graphics card and all the methods listed on Google, but it didn't work. Is there a way?

Its kinda weird and tedious, while they did make a custom build for blender. They didnt take the time to actually make all defaults work out of the box. I dont understand the need for the custom build if the engine is still an addon
PS that denoising is weird. You used min samples of 10, but still it would only kick in after 15-20 samples.
for how long will this be free, like i activated it today for the 2nd time and it shows active till 30th april. So is it like 1 month trial ??

It's not a trial but you do need to update octane will tell you when and it's a little different as far as material wise to set up then cycles
The quality panel does not appear in the octane kernel. Classic property panel cannot be selected What should I do? help me pls

I'm trying to follow along but am unable to select the "path tracing kernel". It says, "Incompatible or invalid output node". But my final World Output node is set to Octane. I must be missing something obvious. Any ideas? (Blender 4.0.2, Windows 11, 4090, i9 14900K, 96GB ram)
For what it's worth, I clicked "New Default" and it now allows me to select "path tracing kernel". Hopefully that's fine?

It's free I have been using it for over a year now some times Otoy makes an update when it expires you have to download the new update and reinstall the updated version...you don't have to pay money the only drawback about free is you can only use one GPU you have to pay for the subscription if you want to run multiple GPUs

so, octane is typically not an addon - it's a prebuild blender version? is free version like this or even the paid version?
Paid version let you use multiple GPUs free version only allows you to use one

You can use 2 or more GPUs and some other stuff I don't have it I just use the free one

Yes but you need to have a internet connection
Firstly thank-you for your content however I would like to understand why you setup your colour management to 'None' whereas as OTOY in an nVidia tutorial tell you to set it up as 'Raw'. As the producers of the render engine I put more credibility on their comments. They state that this 'raw' should be used as Octane will autmatically colour manage the scenes itself and the Blender override in not the way to go. From trying both I would suggest OTOY are correct and you get better results.
Yep your correct use RAW if you seen some of my newest videos you'll see I'm also using RAW 🤓🙏🏾👍🏾

Im not using this cus it's using blender 2.8 I would start if they could update to at least 2.9 oe 3.0 cus of my geo nodes
That's the cost of using Octane for free when C4D users pay 300$ a year I use both Blender Octane and the lastest Blender when I need to use some new update 👍🏾🤓
you might have downloaded the older version, i got octane with version 3.3.1 which i downloaded about 1.5 to 2 months from today.
Update: Latest download is for blender version 3.4.1
