I'm not sure about the powersave addon - Blender (vanilla) out of the box has an autosave feature, which you can also set the 'save interval' in minutes (2 mins is also the default) - and I've never had to go search for the file after a crash, you just go to File > Recover > Autosave and it'll automatically open the temp folder where the autosaves are located for you. Node Wrangler Octane is personally my most required addon 🙂-- but dang, thanks for showing off the Octane Tools, that looks super useful

Hi 👋🏻 new to blender octane. I installed the latest blender octane edition and octane server prime from official otoy website. Followed every step as mentioned there but i am always stuck at waiting for image error. And yes the octane server status is active and running. It just work for like a minute or two and then stuck at waiting for image. My Pc specs are fairly decent ( 3080ti 12gig , 12700k , 32 gb 6000mhz ram ) One solution (kind of) is to go into task manager and end task of octane server and reactivate it. Then it works for like 2 to 3 minutes. Also i have checked the device preferences and my gpu is listed there. I have turned of the denoising ( someone on RUclips recommend it) and rtx acceleration is turned on. I would really appreciate some help as i am really liking octane features ( texture displacement , post processing, colours and lights , faster than cycles )

The creator of JSDisplacement mentioned a few years back something like he made it for fun or for more of a personal project and he never expected to receive as many requests or emails for it so he put it up for a final finite amount of time and was taking the site down afterwards. He unfortunately didn’t have the time to put towards it any further.

Nice video! I have made a addon that you can sync 2 viewports at same time also one that list objects what is hidden in viewport but visible on render. I think both work well on octane as they don't use any render engine to work. It is free on my gumroad!

Sorry but Octane is nothing but issues. Node Wrangler, not working, Material Converter, not working. Constant crashes.

Bro, I want to get more into Octane for Blender. Only thing I moved from C4D to Blender. I bought a whole load of plugins that use Cycles. Does this mean I have to convert materials to octane when using these plugins. What will happen with the assets that use Cycles. Example is things like Botaniq etc. Thank you

I have the lastest version of Blender and Octane, but when loading a RGB image for texture environment all I get is black. Seems a bug with the rgb image node but Im not sure. Do you have the same problem?
