Hi 👋🏻 new to blender octane. I installed the latest blender octane edition and octane server prime from official otoy website. Followed every step as mentioned there but i am always stuck at waiting for image error. And yes the octane server status is active and running.
It just work for like a minute or two and then stuck at waiting for image. My Pc specs are fairly decent ( 3080ti 12gig , 12700k , 32 gb 6000mhz ram )
One solution (kind of) is to go into task manager and end task of octane server and reactivate it. Then it works for like 2 to 3 minutes.
Also i have checked the device preferences and my gpu is listed there. I have turned of the denoising ( someone on RUclips recommend it) and rtx acceleration is turned on.
I would really appreciate some help as i am really liking octane features ( texture displacement , post processing, colours and lights , faster than cycles )
Is your GPU drivers up to date?
We had members in my community with this problem this was a post from my Octane Blender Skool
"Hi, if anyone is experiencing this issue I ended up reaching out to Otoy. Customer support said:
“ We have confirmed a stability issue with the latest stable Nvidia Driver (555.85). This is being actively investigated. For the time being, reverting to Nvidia Driver version 552.22 should resolve the issue.“

@@1polygonewithme Thanks 🙏Octane fb group also recommended this but i was hesitant to roll back ( It might mess with other apps ( davinci , after effects , houdini )
