Kinda nightmarish for doing it for bunch of objects. Will it have the same effect if it was different scale and shape? Or why not use dirt texture for masking?

Its works different than a dirt node it's not the same thing

@1polygonewithme thanks for the extra explanation! This kinda remind me of material blending in unreal engine 5

Is there a way to separate the XYZ but as normals? to add moss on rocks in cycles there is "Geometry/Normal•---•SeparateXYZ/Z•----•BaseColor or Mix shader amount". And the rock can be rotated so the moss stays on the Z, to scatter and random rotate rocks this is very usefull, but I haven't manage to replicate this on Octane.😕

@@1polygonewithme Not exactly, but this showed me something new too!. I started tweaking around and I was able to replicate it with the "Triplanar map" node, but thank you anyways for your quick response. Thank you for your awesome channel, there is not so much info for blender Octane out there specially with the use of geometry nodes, particles etc. but I understand it can get pretty messy really fast so I apreciate that you have manage to keep this lessons very simple and easy for us Octane begginers from where I have learned soooo much! 😃
