I love this!! I love how you used the modern photo too! It occurred to me when you showed the decorative edge with the gold.. it would be fun to just touch the edge with gold paint too. :)
Oh my goodness. I absolutely love these and wondered where I could get some from. I never thought of making my own as I'm still new to junk journaling. Thank you so much for this easy tutorial. Going to look for that digi now. Thank you so much ☺♥ Liked and subscribed ♥
Why cardstock as the middle instead of printing one of the pictures on cardstock then glueing the copy paper one onto the backside of the picture? They turned out really nice! I just happen to have a birthday card to make for this week and will do this for it with a photo from Graphics Fairy . I'll be using my Silhouette machine instead of trusting my inconsistant X-acto knife skills!
This is so cool! I see you print one picture on a page. I print several on a page because I have a "per print" ink contract. HP Instant Ink for my HP printer. Uses less paper, too.
This is probably a dumb question, but does this method have to use a laser printer? I watched back, but could not see if you said it. Thank you for this very cool tutorial!
Hi Karen, thanks for asking...the scissors are Scotch brand Titanium. They're great, here's the link: www.scotchbrand.com/3M/en_US/scotch-brand/products/catalog/~/Scotch-Precision-Ultra-Edge-Titanium-Scissors/?N=4335+3294529207+3294603627&rt=rud
Thank you, we will add the links! In the meantime, the back of the cards are from the Mini Ephemera Pieces Bundle. The photos are from the Instant Ancestors 1 & 2 Bundles, including the little dog. Really appreciate you letting us know, have a great weekend!
