I just finished a quilt using that exact Benartex backing. It was free-motion without having to think about what motif comes next. It was fun and easy. I hope Benartex will make it in multiple designs!
I know you have to be one of the best ever teachers of quilting Learn so much from your technique and tips .You teach unlike others that want to sale some products. I love your methods
That truly is amazing! I also didn't have any idea this kind of backing was available. What a great way to get started with and practice free-motion quilting. The fabric designs (on all the fabrics you showed, but mostly speaking of the pre-printed one) takes the stress out of having to create a pattern and it has the extra-added bonus of developing your muscle memory. A very stress-free way to finish a project! Thank you, Laura, for another terrific idea!
I didn't know about the preprinted already quilted backing and such a wide width. I just ordered some and am anxious to practice my free motion quilting with it. What super information. Thank you so much!
I got darn near a whole bolt of that wash away design fabric on clearance and I can’t wait to use it!!!! Thank you for showing how user friendly it is... I’ve been intimidated to try it.
Saundra Weston I got it at a fabric store in Portland Oregon that is now sadly closed. They have an online store ... try FabricDepot.com I don’t know if they’ll have it though.
What a wonderful fabric...I didn't know about this until this video. I will have to look into buying some and trying it out! Thanks, Laura! Blessings! :-)
Love your videos, they are all so clear to understand and very informative. Would love a show on how you actually apply the spray basting to sandwich your quilts.
I am no quilter Laura, but love the finished article. Love to see how its done, but not something I aspire to doing myself. Thankyou for sharing this interesting subject.
MIND BLOWN!!! How is it I never knew of this wash-away quilt design backing?! I'm going to check with my local fabric shop to see if they will bring it in. Thank you for a very wise idea
Awesome info about the pre-marked quilt backs. Wish I had some right now as it would be a perfect pattern for my granddaughter's first quilt. She doesn't want it quilted too tightly. I was thinking of big swirls and feathers, so will try to replicate something similar on my domestic. Good to know about washing the quilt just with water. Thanks so much!!
Thank you again for your wonderful information! Love your videos! So very helpful! Can you tell us where you found the Benartex backing fabric Laura? I live in Kansas City and I cannot seem to locate it. Thank you!
I love the fabric, I too didn't realize this kind of fabric was available. I have been looking around and can't seem to find a store that carries this kind of backing already mark. Do you know where I can purchase it.. Thanks for your informative videos
If you would put some tape at the edge of your plastic, you won't print off the plastic and onto the fabric with your markers. Don't ask me how I know.

I have used so many of your patterns. I love your videos because you explain so well. What machine are you using in this video please?
It is a Q20 from Bernina
hey; do you add a quilt label and if so how? love the work you do.
Where do. You get the preprinted back?
Premarked material. Wow, did not know it existed

Hi Laura. What kind of needle do you use? I’ve had some skipping on my domestic machine even after playing with the tension. Thanks!
Thay quilt is beautiful. I an so afraid to do my first one. But I'm going to try with fabric squares. What king of machine is that?

I love your dress! Did you make it yourself?
no I did not but I do like it :) thank you
I prewash my fabrics, so the top would be shrunk and the back wouldn't be. How would that effect the outcome? How would it look different?
I have not seen much of a difference
hola!!
Can you buy this pre marked washable backing in great Britain?
contact Benartex and ask :)
