I’m so grateful to have found your channel. I bought a Q20 back in March and it’s my 1st Bernina. I have learned so much from watching your channel. Thank you so much for all your videos. I’m currently watching a few I. The morning before sewing.
This is a marvelous tutorial, and it was so helpful, answering so many questions. I'm almost 90 so I've waited a long time to begin learning to machine quilt. Double C is perfect for a beginner and beautiful enough for an advanced quilter. Thank you so very much. Now-- on to making quilts for all the children, grands, and greats!!
Great job Laura! Its good to see you at a quilting machine!!! You have very detailed and easy to understand explanations.... not everyone has that talent. More please!
I have a Handi Quilter Avante longarm which is a wonderful machine. I have Pro Stitcher computerized option I use often, but have wanted to do some freehand quilting. Your tutorial is great and I have practiced on old bed sheets purchased at Goodwill. I love that I can practice "without guilt" on old fabric. The muscle/brain memory repetitiveness really does work. Thanks for being YOU!
The great thing about this pattern is it gives you a sharp angle place to stop and readjust your hands or review in which direction you want to move next, etc. A smooth pattern like stippling shows every spot where you stopped.
This is so pretty, and it seems so simple. I have been looking for a simple pattern for my first machine quilted project, and I think this is it. Thank you, Laura.
I just heard your interview on the Quilter On Fire - loved it! I had not seen this you tube video and am so glad I watched it. I am going to use it on a quilt I am machine quilting right now. You are a life saver! I needed something like this. I enjoy watching your videos!
I’m very new at FMQ and was trying to figure out how to make the C’s bigger. Thank you for mentioning speeding up your machine in order to do that. Love your channel, Laura!
Hope you do more easy free motion designs. I like ones that are a bit more spaced out for bigger charity quilts that need to be quickly dome Many thanks for your clear instructions!
I’ve been quilting with a sit down machine for a little over two years. I always love seeing new quilting designs. Thank you SO much for that ! I’m going to try it on my next quilt !
Love this tutorial. Thanks Laura! I have used the double c on two quilts. I practiced with quilt blocks first. They came out really nice. It's not difficult, I had to fund a speed that was comfortable for me and it worked up pretty fast .
I really enjoyed this tutorial Laura! I have a sit down machine, no stitch regulator. For me, the Quilting was the least favorite part of making a quilt! Now your video has inspired me, and I’m looking forward to finishing several quilts that are waiting. 😊😊😊
I did this after you showed it on a previous video? It looks great as an all over and was easy - this video shows a lot more detail which is wonderful. I think those red lights on your machine would confuse me, but I guess you'd get used to it. Love your grippy circles idea. I'm doing a Christmas wall hanging right now which would be easier to use those on instead of gloves as I have to start and stop to break thread often. Thanks!! 🇨🇦
This is a very beautiful design. I wish I had seen it yesterday before I quilted a baby quilt! I enjoy your videos and would love to see more free motion quilting designs. You are a wonderful teacher. By the way, I made that table topper a few months ago and love it! :)
Thank you for this FMQ tutorial. Would love to see you quilting a larger quilt on a domestic machine. I mostly quilt lap or twin size and it's cumbersome enough doing SITD or wavy lines so I'm afraid to even try free motion.
love your blouse did you happen to make it its awesome and i also love the double c 's to quilt i am going to try it with my reg. sewing machine thank you for the video.
You make it look so easy! I hope to try this after the holidays. Any chance of getting the pattern for the quilt you used? I would like to make a baby quilt in this pattern and try the quilting you demonstrated.
I love your videos Laura! I have learned so much from you. I am trying to view the video you mentioned about FMQ’ing without thread but can’t find it. Would you please, please post a link? Thanks
Your showing us with us facing as if sitting in a classroom. It would be a lot more helpful for the camera to be behind you so we could see the movement as if we were doing it. Like a person looking over your shoulder. Everyone learns differently. Not all of us are on computers some of us are on phones with small screens.
I love your teaching methods. Thank you for your videos.

Hi, Laura. Thank you for this cool pattern. I love your clear explanations and your beautiful voice! You are very encouraging!
The clue for me is outside the Cs. Thank you very much. I got a lot out of your work. New Zealand
Putting a slippery pillow in your lap to fill the gap is genius. Thank you
Thank you Laura for sharing this tutorial. I will definitely be giving the Double C on my next project.
Laura, thank you for all your videos. I so enjoy watching them.

Awesome. In addition to the C, was working in quarters/sections, and pulling the back thread to the top. Geez, seems so obvious now. TY.
Such a clever lady. Thanks heaps. 👏👋🇦🇺💐
Putting that cushion on your knee is a great idea thankyou so much for sharing will have to try these c,s thankyou kim
Love the way you explain things. Thank you very much 😊

I like your machine.

The letter C and I
I love this! You make it look doable!
Thank you for sharing this double C I love it I’ve done the same but I’ve done it the opposite I’ve done in the inside of C it’s not so nice! 💕🧵✂️
This is great. Can’t wait to try it!
Just love this! You are so good at explaining things.

Great tutorial. Thanks!!!
I’d kill for that machine!
Laura, best tutorial I have seen. thank you so much. Maybe I can do this!
I am going to try this.
Thank you. This is very helpful.
Thank you Laura.
Very nice. Wouldn't it be great if regular domestic machines had stitch regulators?
My domestic Bernina has a stitch regulator. 😊
I see a sea of "c's" ....love it.
Someone said Sally sells something like that.
Thank you for sharing your skills! LindaD
Great tutorial, thank you for sharing.
Love that machine Bernina.... what model?
I watch this tutorial over and over! Can you tell me what brand of thread you use?
Very helpful thank you for sharing
Thanks for the tips on this free motion design❤️
Lovely machine!
That was great. Thank you

SewVeryEasy thank you so much. What a great idea...air quilting!!!
Hello Laura, Which model Bernina are you working on? please
What is the weight of glide thread? Where do u purchase it! I am located in Niagara Falls, On
those are some tiny cs! pretty!
Very helpful....do you need the stitch regulator to do it?
no this can be done on any machine :)
what are you using under your hands?
Question- is the top thread and the bobbin tread is the same?
Yes 😊
can you show how you use this table topper on a table
I cant access the last two 'finish line' vids as they come up as Private Video. Is this deliberate?
No they should be ok try this ruclips.net/video/z4_mzuNmQpE/видео.html
I think this is not a normal sewing machine. It is different type.
Lindo
Thank you! Quilting is my least favorite part of quilting - I like the design phase. Maybe I just need to get more confident in my ability to FMQ.
The fetish line

I will keep that in mind Thank you
