I’m revisiting this show! I remember this show vividly!!! Can not believe you sold the sky Walker!!!!loved the old days!
TGV I'm constantly impressed by your camera work, editing and how you spend the perfect amount of time on each piece. Your videos are always great but whenever you do a state of the collection I find myself wishing it wouldn't end! great job, keep inspiring us all! cheers.
Thank you Ryan, that means a great deal to me.
Made my day!
Best regards,
TGV
Love your channel and I really like the fact you are a Tudor fan. My first dip into watch collecting was a Tudor Submariner lollipop dial I bought in 1987 ( I still have it) when I was 17...worked and saved a whole summer for that piece.... Keep up the good work.
It's always a pleasure when I get that notification knowing TGV uploaded a video, simply the best youtuber out there !! Keep up the good work Gov, it wont be long before you begin knocking down all your grail watches with ease !!
Thank you Ziggy, reading this has made my day.
Best regards,
TGV
Wonderful video TGV. Thank you so much for sharing. I always enjoy watching your collection change and grow. Keep up the good work and Cheers!
i just received my first wrist candy watch club nato strap, i bought one based off your review and i absolutely love it. the olive green looks brilliant on my seiko solar chrono. keep up the great work
Love your videos and the lack of watch snobbery that go along with them!
When you whipped out the Squale 1521 with the Hirsch strap instead of the Colareb strap, Jaw dropped. So radiant. Fantastic.
I enjoy how you and Fed explain why you have the pieces you do. The fact that you look at a watch in the same manner you would art or a beautiful woman really shows the respect you have for not only the watch but the entire process and history of what lead up to it's creation. Thank you for sharing and I am very happy to have found this channel.
Thank you sir! This made my day to read your comment. Very happy to have you with us.
Best regards,
TGV
As always TGV, a great Video! Love the State of the collection! Been very cautious with my own, officially started it with the Modded SKX, now patiently waiting for my next Target, the Breitling Colt.. I have a feeling looking the next Collection Video, will be rather different! Enjoy being part of the journey! Great Stuff! BMJ ENGLAND
Thank you Benjamin. Great place to started with the SKX mod, love the colt too, so glad to hear, enjoy the journey my friend!
Best regards,
TGV
YAY! Been waiting for this and SO happy :D Brilliant collection!! Can't wait to see it develop even further :)
Thank you Kibby! :D
Best regards,
TGV
great collection! but i appreciate the fact that simple casio watches are on the side of watches like rolex, omega, tudor. well any watch with sentimental value can be part of a collection. it doesn't have to be too expensive rare series of swiss watches
Thank you Mahir, VERY true what you say about sentimental value.
Best regards,
TGV
Wow fantastic collection Tristano, didn't realise you had so many, such variety, you should be very proud, also you have turned interchanging straps into an art form 🤔 you give me some great ideas, great vid mate .
Thank you Terry, very kind of you to say.
Best regards,
TGV
Excellent state of the collection video TGV! I guess We were all waiting for it lol... Keep the good work! Cheers!!!
Great collection TGV, you have a wide selection of watches which is very refreshing to see someone who appreciates watches in general, really liked the Tudor Black bay red and was surprised how good your Seiko flight master looked, I have 12 watches, 4 high end pieces Rolex Daytona two tone, Datejust 16014, Cartier Santos 100 Galbee and Rado Coupole Classic, beater watches Tissot prs 200, Tissot PRS 512 Retrograde, Seiko SKX007K, Seiko SNDE03P1 CHRONO blue, bulova marine star and couple of G shocks, hope to add a few more divers, maybe seadweller or sub.
Hi tgv fantastic vid, what a collection so refreshing to see variety not just all the pradictible big hitters, so taste and personality, love it sir, keep up the good work, loveing the show, all the best, your friend Ryan, ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.
Thank you Ryan, of course you approval is always the most valued ;-) O&U!
Best regards,
TGV
What a great surprise... Very nice collection, with great time pieces and perfectly chosen straps... I want that skywalker badly.
Isn't watch collecting just so much fun. Great job Tristano. Like LIKE LIKE!!!
Thank you Mike :D
Best regards,

Great collection TGV. Some really beautiful pieces there. Love the Speedmaster, Rolex GMT and the Seiko SKX in particular. Own some Panerai, A Montblanc and U-Boat but some of my favourite pieces are my Orients - the Blue Bambino and the GMT. Thanks for opening up ALL levels of the watch world. Really love your channel and it's lack of pretension. Great how you welcome low, middle and high end pieces. That's what it's all about at the end of the day IMO. Not so much about the value of the watch but how it makes you feel.
Beautiful collection! My current collection is: Casio Edifice EFR-544D, 1976 Seiko 5 Automatic, 1900 Omega Grand Prix Paris pocket watch (absolute antique!), Tommy Hilfiger Men's George Classic Silver Dial watch. I'm looking forward to get the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m in a short amount of time.
TGV, What an exquisite collection sir! The GMT master is my fav, it feels like you should have a passport in hand with that watch on, it just says travel and adventure to me. I hope to be able to have a collection like this one day.
"Seiko card shuffle". As an owner of several vintage seiko 5s, an skx, and an old seiko automatic chrono, I can definetely relate haha! Great video as always!
Haha Thank you Ricky ;-)
Best regards,
TGV
Congratulations on a great collection. Loved the Casio F-90 . I had one for nearly 20 years and miss it so much. Much versatility and a wide range of prices. You have very good taste.
Thank you so much Roberto, very kind of you to say :D
Best regards,
TGV
I think I remember the days when you had 3 Squales in your collection. And I remember wanting all of them :) There's something about the look of their watches.
Great video as usual!
LOL, oh god that was a great time, I had to be ruthless and settle on one. I miss them dearly but I think I went a bit crazy there LOL,
I too still want all of them, but alas, I am not made of money.
Thank you Adam,
Best regards,
TGV
hey TGV! haven't gotten a chance to see the show in a few weeks and missed it! the collection is looking exquisite! also liked the show about 5 reasons why not to buy a knockoff.... I couldn't agree more! much love from Philadelphia! Semper Fi!
Nice to see how a collection gradually evolves over time. That gmt adds a great pop of colour to the collection. Having seen one on a jubilee, I understand your desire for one. I think a dress watch with a small seconds or a power reserve would complement things very nicely. Keep living the dream TGV!
YES YES and YES, spot on my friend,
Thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
impressive collection my personal favourite of the collection is the Orient Black Ray 2 i hope to pick up a orient mako 2 some point in the near future looks fantastic bang for buck thanks for the video TGV keep up the good work
Love your passion for watches! Great collection as well, many pieces on your list I hope to acquire someday. I bought a 1521 on your recommendation a few months ago and it's been an excellent summer watch. I went with the matte blue version though, as I have a preference for the tool watch look.
Thank you so much, so glad to hear, going to have to go and put mine on! Enjoy it.
Best regards,
TGV
60CLICKS h
wow! love the collection TGV! great vid as always
Thank you Dale! :-)
Best regards,
TGV
i ve loved watches even since i was a little girl, i'm not a collector like you, for practical reasons, i'm a one watch girl and i'm obsessed with my watch, but i love watching your vids, they are very enjoyable
victonica 21 what watch is that? I was inspired by TGV to buy my 1st 'serious watch'
You have a fine collection of wristwatches. An eclectic collection ranging from inexpensive to expensive, from boisterous to demure in design. Some very tasty time machines. My favourites are the Omega Speedmaster, the Seiko Flightmaster, your Tudor Black Bay and DayDate. The two Rolex - goes without saying. I also enjoy your Japanese models. This video has been a lot of fun for me.
Thank you my friend, very kind. Always enjoy your comments.
Best regards,
TGV
Hi TGV, thank you for another great video. I'm currently on honeymoon period with my Tissot Visodate. Looking to add a nice Orient Ray II before the year is out, then it's on to saving for either a good Oris BC3 or something similar, that's the beauty and excitement of hunting before a purchase! Best regards, Rob.
Your collection represents your inclusiveness and your rich wealth of diversity, on a horological level you have a vast appreciation of different watches from low to high end pieces. A man of profound gentility! Still you rise!
Thank you CKR, comments like this make my day and really help to keep my motivation, I cant thank you enough my friend.
Best regards,
TGV
You set the bar. Excellent video and collection. My collection is much more modest. I am down to 5 with my grandfather's pocket watch making six watches. There are so many great watches out there and so little time in our lives to enjoy them all. I hope you give all your watches valuable wrist time. Thank you for your videos my friend.
whoa 😵😵 love how the collection has evolved T 👍👍👍
Great collection TGV. Very well rounded. Thanks for sharing:)
Thank you, so much, very kind,
Best regards,
TGV
Hey TGV, Amazing watches.
I am a newbie in watch collecting/hobby and I have you to thank for getting that bug in me. And as an amateur, I would love to hear a word or two about the movements in those watches along with ur likes /dislikes as in the current video. I understand many of them are iconic watches with well-known movements, but still if you could just remind amateurs like me, then we can know/understand the watches better.
Cant thank you enough for all your videos and sharing your knowledge.
Great collection! Love all the bright colors. So many nato straps, I'm a bracelet guy but will agree nato's are great for the summer. Can't wait for the next state of the collection
Thank you Connor, yeh I am a not junkie! LOL ;-)
Best regards,
TGV
Thank you for the great entertainment! It's always a pleasure! You got me hitting the like button, because "it really does help" you, as you said. :)
nice mix of new and old, high end and low end, variety is the spice of life
I really enjoy your videos, your comments have real meaning and you have a genuine care for your viewers and getting the best value for our hard earned dollar. You have opened my eyes up to what to buy and an acceptable amount of money to spend. That being said I haven't found anything about fossil watches, so I've gotta ask what your thoughts and or opinions of the fossil brand.
Great video. your collection seems pretty thought through as for which pieces is in it.
I don't really collect myself, yet I do own a couple of different pieces. As I often buy items for task; my collection is as follows
- G shock GW-2300f (incredibly tough, radiocontrolled, solar powered zero maintainence whatsoever. Absolutely love it, mainly use it for work due to the toughness and the fact that it keeps itself with power and on time) - at the moment it sits on a homemade paracord band.
- Suunto Core Alu. This piece I have actually borrowed, as he has bought a GPS watch instead. Mostly use it for outdoor activities. I do alot of hiking and camping, so the ABC features really come in handy here. As it is a borrowed piece, I might consider buying my own Suunto sometime in the future.
Nixon Insider. This is my only semi-dress piece. I saw it first when I was in my teens and thought it was the most beautiful and masculine watch ever. As it turned out I got my hands on a used version (which unfortunately doesn't work properly, as the analog hands doesn't work). It is really heavy and I don't use it other than when I absolutely need a dressy watch. also it is a real power guzzler that chews through 4 batteries at a time. It has to go as soon as possible.
As I mentioned, I might want to add my own ABC watch at some point, but first I want to add a Citizen promaster. Several reasons to add this exact piece. First of all I like divers. I also really like the fact that it is both automatic and manual wind. I love that I don't have to worry when the battery is going dead. The suunto is acceptable, as it is more of a built for task piece and has a low battery warning, so I know if it needs replacement when I pick it up for use.
other reasons for choosing the promaster is the price. It is very affordable here in Denmark, where I live. As opposing to my other watches, it will accept different straps (nato, bracelet, leather etc.) I like my things to be versatile! Also I wear my watch on my right hand. Always have, always will, though I'm right handed. This makes the citizen ideal due to the placement of the crown. Finally I plan to use it as my "dress-watch". I rarely wear a suit, and therefore I intend to pull off the "james bond" look and just wear a diver as my dress watch whenever I need to.
thank you for sharing your knowledge of watches and gentlemanship with us
After watching this video a second time, I noticed that sarb you have has the exact green Colareb strap I use on my citizen Skyhawk! Love how the green plays with the orange on my hawky!
Upping the game here TGV,
With IWC, I had the pleasure of walking into the Bal Harbour shop in Miami and trying a Portugieser Chronograph on (18K RED Gold / Brown alligator strap) REF. IW371480)
It felt very elegant and classy my man (not as much as the grande complication), next time I drop into the IWC Boutique I will certainly grab the 2016/2017 collection book and send it through post for you to enjoy.
-Tommy
The intro of the video with Ernest the dog is awesome .And a very well maintained collection I must say.
Thank you Sandipan, very kind.

Totally agree. This channel deserves way more subs.

Thank you Grid, that makes my day to hear! Enjoy them :D
Which 4 if you don't mind me asking?
Best regards,
TGV
+The Urban Gentry I have bought the Squale 1521, Skx009, Seiko flightmaster and Oris aquis. Im very pleased with all of them. All thanks to you ;)
Love to see you back in good health! I love your work! Shout-out form Bethlehem, Pennsylvania USA :)))))))))))))
Thank you so much, all the best to you my friend!
Best regards,
TGV
nice video, and great collection! today my collection consists in 16 watches, I don't see myself trimming it down any time soon. I'm from Brazil and I tend to loose money in every sell...
WoW so many great watches TGV. Great video, it will be interesting to see what you have in another six months.
Thank you Bob, time has flown past so far, it will be in no time at all. Cant wait!
Best regards,
TGV
You are one of my favorite youtubers! You should review other things like cars, clothes, etc...you have great voice and have good presence
Now own the Orient Ray Raven II because of you, and loving it! Wearing it with a black nato w/PVD buckles. All purchased from Long Island. You should get a commission.
I am also a nerd when it comes to nicknaming my watch's.... My Brietling Crosswind is the TGV....haha! of course when I eventually get my own Sube that will become my new TGV. 😎
much love from Philadelphia
Brian
Great collection TGV! I'd have a very hard time deciding what to sell, I love them all!
You really need to get a Nomos in your collection. It would be a great 'placeholder' untill you get a Lange. Take a look at the Nomos Club, it's one of my favourites from Nomos. It's a 'sporty' dresswatch with some color to it.
I have way too many watches, I don't even want to start counting them LOL!
Hello, it was pretty fun watching your collection. I thought that is bigger than mine. I've got more than sixty. It was the 2015 count. I don't know the present figure. The pepsi is one of my favourite. I think I am dreaming about it for twenty years now. But the faith made that five days agonI bought my first submariner. Hulk. The ideea of trimming my collection crossed my mind too. But only crossed. When my son heard about , he said , dad give me your assault knife. So that's it. Keep it up brother, alex
I've been eyeing the 116610 for quite some time. Trying to find a way to acquire one reasonably. But I need to try one first before pulling the trigger. Great video, TGV!! Thanks for sharing!!
Also, why did you get rid of the Glycine Golden Eye?? And the Squale Heritage?? I thought the Squale was the watch that helped you through your times in hospital. I think I recall you stating that you'd never get rid of the Heritage. ;)
Very nice Gov, keep up the good work both with your channel & collection!
Thank you Jeff, always pleased to hear from you my friend.
Best regards,
TGV
Wow nice collection TGV lol
I may to do a video on my state of collection! Have sold a few items out and also got some items in..... Vintage is definitely a great way of getting interesting pieces in and most time never costs the earth.
Anyway
All the best
Regards
Vincent
Great video. Brought great inspiration. The core of my collection currently is the Tudor Prince Oysterdate, Squale 1545 Rootbeer and Orient Ray Raven. Looking to add a vintage Omega Seamaster, possibly with a blue sunburst dial and a Rolex Sub or even a GMT, probably from the late 90s.
Thank you Marco, wow what a cool collection, you have great taste my friend, enjoy and wear them with pride!
Best regards,
TGV
I love the diversity of your collection!
Thank you Zahy! :D
Best regards,
TGV
Another brilliant review, many thanks
Thank you sir!
Best regards,
TGV
Fascinating video. I have only five watches - three of which are watches that I wear. Speedy, Black bay red and a SKX. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Matt, I actually envy you, firstly you have a killer line up there, great taste! But also, less is more I feel.
Best regards,
TGV
Always great choice of intro music.
If the Tudor had a thinner case, like the Glycine, it would be the perfect watch. It just so gorgeous. I agree with your choice of the Tudor Rose over the new movement. An in-house movement is great but the Rose is what makes the Black Bay an iconic piece.
Thank you for this very nice review of your collection, TGV... Excellent! Cheers...
Thank you Steven :D
Best regards,
TGV
Great video TGV as always, but couldn't help but notice that aside from the gifted Elgin, not a single white or light faced watch! You like the dark or coloured face watches. Haha. I think you should have kept that beautiful dressy Junghans chrono. Good luck on the moon phase hunt.
Great collection Tristiano and very well deserved, enjoy them all buddy..
Thank you AHH!
Best regards,
TGV
Awesome collection tgv.....i love the skywalker and riley.
Thank you Sam :D
Best regards,
TGV
The state of the collection videos and the strap videos are my favorites but all your other video are amazing too. Absolutly stunning collection.I miss the Hamilton intra-matic (I want to buy one myself because I saw your nice video about it). But the Tudor DayDate is even a better dress watch.:)
Thank you Tim, very kind. I miss the Hammy too, really was class, but like I always say, I just cant keep them all.
Best regards,
TGV
Awesome collection TGV! And everytime I see the Squale I want one hahaha.
Thank you my friend, Haha, see too and I already have one! :D
Best regards,
TGV
Loving that Tudor Black Bay!!! Great video!
Thank you JC! :D
Best regards,
TGV
Love the pieces in your collection, and the GMT definitely tops that list. I'll probably get one sooner than later, just waiting to find a good vintage one, and would like to see how it looks on a Jubilee (hint hint buy buy buy :-)).I have 8 watches, but in reality, only wear 4 of them (PAM, Yacht Master, Squale Master and when I'm out on the water, Suunto (soon to be replaced)), and my others watches like my Timexes are somewhere.
The Seiko SARB is definitely my favourite one, followed by the Omega and the Tudor day - date. I think a gentleman like you should look for more dress watches. :P
Fun, Fun, collection! Besides the obvious ones to like... that Black Bay , nice.
Thank you Gary :D
Best regards,
TGV
Totally new to this. Just have the the Seiko SNK809 & looking to add the Orient Bambino FER2400BW next.
Love that Casio F91W! Had that as a kid myself, brings back plenty of memories!
Thank you, welcome to the best hobby a man can have, love the Seiko, a Bambino will compliment it marvellously.
Best regards,
TGV
Speedy is tops for me but I agree with your love for the Squale... The blue is just fun and gorgeous and unique... Hope to own one soon... Would love to see a Hamilton in collection one day...
That's a very large collection & i thought i was bad lol. As for my own i already have 7 of the 8 pieces i desire so the next purchase will be my final one. Ideally i'd be happy with just the 7, easier said than done. Looking at yours i'm ever so envious of your Tudor Day Date so i may well take that route myself.
LOL Thank you Stephen, I am going to cut down, but then again, I always say that.
Best regards,
TGV
I appreciate the Seiko "Riply" Giugiaro, Elgin Manual Wind, Rolex Submariner, Citizen Promaster NY0040 and Skywalker. Kudos on not having 17 watches that look the same as I have often seen in other collections.
Thank you sir, very kind. I never even thought of that! Interesting observation.
Best regards,
TGV
I like how eclectic your collection is. You aren't a purist of any particular movement or brand and I love that. I will say that if the Elgin was made after 1968 then it doesn't have any reference to the actual Elgin company. The brand was sold in '68 and nothing after that is really very special. I love old American watches, so that is the only reason why I share that tidbit with you. :) Either way, great video. I enjoy your work.
The day I'll have a collection like that, o dear!!
Currently own six pieces, four quartz pieces and two automatics. Next to the collection will probably be a Visodate.
Great collection. Especially the divers. Love the dial on the navitimer. Still think you need a white dial in there too.
The Tudor is my favorite. Love the color combo.
I have a gold pocket watch I got as a gift from a friend last year, a Pebble smartwatch, and a cheap quartz watch I got from a kiosk at a mall when I was 10.
Nice collection! Interested to see what dress watches you'll be adding. Also it never gets old seeing that Charles Frodsham movement.
Thank you my friend, very kind, it truly is magical that Frodsham :D
Best regards,
TGV
TGV like always it is such a struggle to pick out my favorites. but I am fully love struck by the Rolex sub. I just started saving for one. I don't know about the date as well. I need one. I love day dates, but if I can at least get the day that will do it. I find those watches hey most wrist time. I am also going to make my first state of the collection video this weekend.
Always great. Love the addition of the Black Bay and Elgin.
But I miss the Sinn 104!
It's pretty crazy how much you have affected my taste.
Beautiful collection !!!!
hello from France
Bonsoir !
Regards
Seiko Card Shuffle, eh? Use it on my Orients as well LOL. Brilliant as always, my friend. Hope you get a JLC Reverso in for review soon.
LOL indeed, Thank you Arvin, oooooh yes the Reverso, such a classy choice.
Best regards,
TGV
My favourite is the navitimer!! With that lovely brown strap ohhh it looks gorgeous TGV.
Thank you Knish, very kind.
Best regards,
TGV
P.s. you have great taste ;-)
Perfect ...... Great video... TGV.... Once again you ROCKS....!!
Thank you Ketan, very kind.
Best regards,
TGV
Great update, Tristano. Remember the sunscreen next time. My collection is 19. I bought a box with 18 slots in it in order to stop my runaway watch buying. So I keep 18 in the box and one on the wrist. My latest addition is a Tudor Prince Oysterdate 38mm, which is a definite keeper. I've made a pact with myself that I need to sell a watch before I can add one. Let's see if it holds ... Do they have AA meetings for watch addicts?
Very nice collection keep up the good work
great collection TGV!!!
Thank you Charles :D
Best regards,
TGV
what a collection, my goodness man. great video
Thank you, very kind :D
Best regards,
TGV
I like these videos that show the state of the collection. It's always interesting to see how our tastes, needs, and desires change what we keep, what we let go, and what we chase after. I like how your collection has progressed. You need to find a wristwatch similar to your grandfather's pocket watch though, something you can wear to remember him by. As you'll recall some time ago you reviewed my collection. Mine's changed a bit since then as well, would you be interested in doing a follow up? Maybe you could do follow ups with other viewers' collections as well - just an idea. Ciao, John
Since 3 years I slowly and carefully started my collection, I'm being very cautious not to impulsively buy watches. I thought about the Orient Ray Raven and some other divers, but I'm now reaching the point that I cannot get the Rolex Submariner Hulk out of my head. My grail for now, working on a 2 year plan, instead of a 5 year plan. Great collection, Tristano!!
Thank you Harry, sure you can do it my friend, work hard and before you know it, the Hulk will be on your wrist.
A VERY worthy grail.
Best regards,
TGV
