I have to be honest, what I love the most about your collection is the variety in the timepieces as well as the price range. Divers, dress, aviation, etc and a $100 to a $10k watch. Love the collection!

Never been a watch guy until I got a Garmin Fenix 3 last year to train
for my marathon. I know digital watches don't have "souls" but it's such a
fantastic utility watch! Ran across your channel and you got me hooked
on watches. Just picked up a Squale 1521 black dial. I really wanted
to pick up the blue but won the black on eBay auction for $580.
Hopefully I wont regret the color decision. Keep up the great reviews!

That Tudor date-day is a fave. It adds some warmth to the collection with its lovely dial and affinity for brown leather. Superb purchase old chap!

Oh ok, I love your videos man It's one of like 2 channels who's 20 minutes videos I watch. Take care and carry on.
TVG, still enjoying my Squale 1545-PEP. After a break in period I am getting an accuracy of about -3sec per/day measured over a weeks run time. This is measured to the atomic clock. Not bad for an ETA movement. Even gave Orient a try. Got my wife a Mako USA dive watch with the sapphire crystal. Her wrist can handle that size. She works at a private school and they have a pool for the kids to swim in during the summer. She loves the fact there is no battery or anything else to deal with and she has always worn a watch. But this is her first automatic. She loves it. She can use the bezel to time things for the kids. Both watches are also on NATO straps as well. Many thanks for all your information. Regards.

Fantastic stuff my friend, I can remember back to your collection at the start of the channel, interesting evolution. After University I hope I'll be able purchase a higher end piece, my grail has always been the Milgauss!

I could only ever dream of owning the kind of watches that you do!
However, I could never see myself owning more than 7 watches because I do not see a reason to own a watch that I won't wear at least once a week. Only exception would be timeless and expensive classics that I like to call "Safe Queens".

Nice collection you have. I felt in love with Seiko's watches too. I own SRP123 K1, it has really nice GMT ring. Hope you review one, someday. You channel help me a lot to learn about watches and the passion they inspire in us.
I'm really surprised that the Sinn and the Squale Heritage have gone. But when I see their "successors" I think it was worth selling them. Still can't believe about the Sinn though. That Breitling is so beautiful and adorable. A watch collection depicts the person's character and lifestyle and yours is fantastic!

Nice update. I'm not much of a Breitling fan but yours is a true classic that I'd be proud to own. Good points on Seiko, I keep finding models I never knew about but find so cool. Looking forward to the Protrek review. That looks like a perfect watch for when I'm out bike riding or hiking in the mountains. Cheers, John

The Sarb is a huge hit because it's affordable but the value you get for that money is really hard to beat. I always love the diamond on the second hand, I think I'll finally be picking one up this year.
On another note, TGV, have you ever considered getting into microbrands? Halios, Borealis, and Obris Morgan come to mind as having some sharp looking divers that lack proper video reviews online. Another interesting brand would be Maison Celadon, which takes what one thinks about a chinese watch and flips it on its head. They make something like 100 pieces a year and look to be crafted extremely well, but can be had for under a grand.
Great collection and I'll be glad to see where it goes in the next year.
Just picked up the Seiko SKX009K2! Only have an apple watch right now so excited to get a "normal" watch

I reckon i could trim that collection down to just the three, that's not to say i don't like any of the other pieces but i just feel that three in particular really stand out for me.
Looking forward to the Baselworld special, i believe my next piece was highlighted early in your video.
I'm really loving the blue/grey combo on your 1521 and the navi. It's a very soothing color combo to me if that makes sense? I'm looking to add a blue 1521 like yours in the future, it just seems perfect to me. My Aquis needs a new companion!

I would have stopped after the 4th watch....one diver, one chrono, one elegant watch and a colourful fun watch. Who needs more variety? Maybe add an all bells and whistles digital sports/beater watch such as the mudman and you're set for life. Lovely!

I was really surprised you sold the Sinn 104. It's probably one of the best watches for ~1k out there in my opinion, but as you said, you can't keep 'em all! ;)

Favorites: Everything except the Giugiaro
Least favorites: the Giugiaro. Glad to see that one go, but just my personal taste.
My choice to move out would be: Giugiaro, Marathon, Glycine, Orient, ProTrek.
All the rest are keepers

I like where you are going with the collection. I still cannot make myself like g-shocks and abc watches in general, but I do think they can be very useful. Can't wait to see which IWC will be picked and I'm looking forward to see how the collection transforms this year. PS I love the new Tudor Black Bay 36mm .

Just picked up the Squale gmt ceramic that you had in your possession awhile back TGV..Wow! They definitely stepped the quality up on that piece ...Its a keeper for me...

Oh man, the Black Bay 35mm, and what about the Black Bay Copper? Or the re-issue of Omega First in Space on the brown leather band? Lots of new watches to drool over and save up for to add to your collection! I notice you really like those naoto bands.... In lieu of metal bracelets. If you ever want to sell the Breitling .... Thank you for the video. Some very nice pieces there and good variation. IMO though, I rate the Mako line higher than the SKX. I've had a variety of issues with SKXs and find that the fit, finish and overall quality are far superior in the Mako family.
Just my thoughts. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the Pro Trek review ;-).
I'm not sure about anyone else, but I would gladly live everyday wearing a Rolex Sea-Dweller and that would all I'd need as my collection! (I currently settle for my beautiful SKX haha) Great video as always TGV.

Due to the fact I'm not a big fan of Nomos' new releases at Baselworld I have to decide whether I'm going to pick a new or used hand wound model like the Orion or Tangente.

Love your SOTC videos. I don't want to wait another seven months for the next one! I've been struggling to decide between an Oris Aquis and the Squale 1521. After watching your SOTC I think I need to go for the Squale. You mentioned an exclusive, I hope it is on the new Squale model being released at Basel.

All of your pieces are outrageously strong, but I agree with you, that if I had your collection those would be the one's I'd part with first too. BTW, what happened to your Tag GMT? I m an advocate, from professional point of view I m looking for dress watch, the classic style. Earlier, I was searching the Watch in only Tissot and its collection. Now, after seeing your videos the I m fan of seiko watches.
So, my preferences are dress watch, classic style(suggest any different style if u want to) Arabic Numerals is compulsory, day date preferred and would like to try n explore new brands as well.

I think that as a collection it is growing very nicely. From those, if I would only keep 5, they wold be: the Seiko SARB, the Rolex Submariner, the Tudor and another 2 (I would probably go for the Glycine and Squale). Thank you for your great videos! ;)

An idea for a video. Watch management. I don't think you have mention where you store all your watches, except for your grand dad pocket watch in a safe.

Thanks for your reply, I was having problems with my Oris but after a few days I just started wearing it again, it started while wearing. When I tried winding it, everything seemed normal again. After 2 weeks, everything is working normally. I will not forget that awful grinding sound but for now, I'm being gentle with the winding and it's working fine!
Love the collection......I'm looking to add a Squale or a Glycine combat to my collection although I think a Panerai luminor will be my next one which is taking a bit of time to save up for.

I wonder if that new grail watch is a GMT. You haven't seem to have found the GMT that fits your collection quite yet. I really love the new black and white bezel on the Omega GMT revealed at Basel. Surprised the sinn left but sacrifices must be made. Absolutely love your Breitling.

nooo not the sinn 104 ! that one needs to come back TGV i cant imagine your collection without it its such great piece. But if it were me id sell the orient, glycine and the casio to make some room but its upto you, maybe the marathon. All in all great vid definitely worth the wait
