I wish I could of seen them live the UK tour of 1979 at The Apollo in Manchester with a certain Def Leppard warming up for ACDC
Wow, it's hard to summarise that performance. There are just so many superlatives that apply. Just mindblowingly raw, electrifying intensity. Thunderous and tight backbeat, stellar guitar work and awesome vocals.
He really was the lightning ⚡ in the middle 🤘🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
For any of you young kids out there that want to start a band, this is how it’s done.
Absolutely
I hope real bands like this will get back in fashion. I think the time is right
Stood the test of time extremely well. Wow! Pure energy. I always loved AD/DC with Bon Scott. Only with him.
La frescura de la juventud en un tema potentísimo, después de tantos años seguimos gozando esta actuacion, que grande fue Bon Scott.
This song rise up an stadium, even today!!!!!!! The power is incredible.
This is indeed a Golden moment Thank you... Five of the best jobs to do on the planet right there ....
What a badass Bon was! And Angus on his own level! Made my night.
На Русском пиши пригодится!
Killer song by a killer band! Bon's "Dodgeball" skills are epic! "If you can dodge an Angus you can dodge a ball!"
This is wild ... love it. AC/DC were Aussie Icons.
All Aussies icons but all born in Scotland lol
@@soultraveller5027Melbourne’s cosmopolitanism was a beautiful thing back then, I was privileged to have joined it, and to have become an Aussie, too, while the roots were not forgotten. A tremendous melting pot. I wonder if AC/DC would have emerged as such in another environment. What an incredible band.
They don’t make them like this anymore do they?😢
No they DON'T MAKE EM LIKE THAT ANYMORE 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Different species. Is not even about the music. Not just about the music.
Guitar players take note: no effects pedals to be found on this stage and not needed. The Gibson SG and Gretsch Firebird plug straight into cranked up Marshall stacks. Fantastic tone from both guitars with no frills, no excuses, and no b.s.
Thank God my big brother introduced AC/DC for me!!! Greatful forever🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Angus is rock royalty!!
I used to argue with Shane Sweeney back in middle school in the 1980s about who was better Angus or Mick Mars of Motley Crue. Now I'm 50 yrs old, and I have to admit Shane was always right Angus was better. Awesome. This song holds up.
Mr Scott was truly a unique talent!! One of the greatest bands of all time!!! The kids today just don’t have this kind of entertainment!!!
They have trap music haha
Superb rhythm and what a voice. Absolutely satisfying.
Bon Scott just oozed Charisma, you always felt with him that he considered it his personal responsibility to absolute kick ass and blow everyone away in the crowd by showcasing just how bad-ass AC/DC really are.
this is absolute peak rock n roll !
I'm glad I saw them while Bon Scott was still alive, they were never the same band for me after he died RIP
' 70s were the best musically. This concert is just one of the many examples! Show me any band in 2023 that can reach this level? Right, none do.
Quite true, love them since 1979 x
70s were trash. Ac/dc were the exception, not the rule. Most bands were drugged up and their musical output was trash compared to the music of the 60s. music dipped in 1969.
I think this might be their best version of this song I’ve heard.
I can see many guys around here. It makes me feel so happy. Continue rocking on with this masterpiece! Me and You, as the new generation, are prohibited to let this masterpiece disappears! 🤘🏼🎸
Greetings from Angola! 🤘🏼🎸❤️
Anybody is here in 2024? 🤘🏼
Aye!
Why woulnt I be.. 😐
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🎸🎸🎸🎸❤️❤️❤️
What is haggis?how revolting....
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Probably my favorite AC/DC song. And this is a great version. Thanks for posting.
this song and shot down in flames pure Bon
Angus was great at that time, saw AC/DC on their lick up your daughters tour mid seventies. Wilko Johnson did a similar thing and also went all around the theatres gangways while playing his guitar with one of the first radio amp connections. 1970’s were great for live music.
“Lick” up your daughters?! Erm…
I literally had tears in my eyes listening to this. AMAZING!!
This PENETRATES THE SOUL, it IS A MONUMENT OF HUMANITY ! AC/DC FOREVER !!
This is impressive on many levels. Let’s just say they are playing without a safety net. And they nailed it.
Память на века всем ушедшим рокерам рок 🎸 рольщикам рокершам рок 🎸 навсегда здорово 👍
I am 50. An just discovering great bands. I use to be upset because I missed this back when I was younger but boy it feels really good now when I have better appreciation of good stuff.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Rocked my socks off!!!
The ORIGINAL Baby's Got Back! The power of the band is crazy. Rock band as entire orchestra. That's amplification.
Bon sure loved those tight fitting pants didn't he?
What a band. Must have been something special to be there live at their concerts. They literally give their all to each song. So electrifying.
Sight and Sound was a fantastic program. Always showed bands at their peak performance
