Shmi is safe! For the time being... And wow, what an ending! The music, Anakin's awakening and slow realization, the growing panic; the sheer amount of horror you've managed to elicit in such a short scene.

You're well on the way to becoming one of my top what if content creators. The horrific spin on Anakin waking up like that hadn't dawn on me until the mental swap was made fully apparent. The very idea of Vader patiently bidding his time, using what knowledge he'd already stolen to ingratiate himself with the council, or even becoming some type of shred political jedi to usurp the Supreme Chancellor title, like a combination of Dooku and Sideous would be grand. You have a lot of directions to go with this, but, frankly, I'm just happy you started making this type of content to begin with, but still curious to see what direction you take.

I was waiting until the right time to introduce Anakin in Vader's old body, and I'm glad to hear the feedback that it was a good time to do it. And you my friend just earned yourself another sub! I like where this what-if is going! But there may be problems for Darth Vader due to his actions: 1. Due to his saving his mother, he has another person to lose. 2. Palpatine or Darth Sidious will find out about his mother's rescue (Or he already knows, though it is slim at best, but he does have many connections so who knows) and will exploit it, but that's probably later down the road. Not to mention other "fun" things that will happen: 1.Obi-wan and Ahsoka (if she's ever introduced) can sense something more about Anakin/Darth Vader as there might be moments where Anakin has a "Vader" moment that makes them concerned and worried about him and for a brief moment sense the dark side power within him. 2. Anakin doesn't kill the Jedi in this (Though he still has his negative opinion of them), but perhaps due to his mother and Padme (due to them probably having a more healthy relationship), Obi-wan and Ahsoka, he may soften up just a bit, but to the point where he pulls a 180- He's still Darth Vader at the end of the day. 3. Don't forget, that every action has a consequence. Perhaps throughout the what if, subtle changes may occur that maybe a big problem (Such as Darth Maul arriving earlier than expected, or General Grievous not have his lungs force crushed by Mace Windu, or worse Palpatine having a failsafe plan). The Possibilities are endless. But it's your show, you can do whatever you want, just giving you something to think about.

Now the original Anakin did at times lose control a bit and a bit of his darkness leaked out, but that was a younger and Anakin with less self control, Vader by now has a ton more self control over his emotions and I think would be able to hide his darkness really well. And the consequences are indeed fascinating to ponder and important to think about as I move forward, thanks for the food for thought!

Wow that was very good. Now a question. This isn't like time travel, Right? I mean what Darth Vader dose in the past, doesn't change the out come of the future Vader? Right? I mean Anakin Skywalker is now in Vader's future. Is this like two branches, in reality? I love time travel paradoxes, but this is beyond that! This is a new paradigm that blows away what we think can be done with the FORCE.
Great questions! I definitely see this as two branching timelines. What Vader does in the past will not affect the future he originally came from that Anakin is now in. Thank you for watching!!

if they switched bodies, then anakin would fight dooku then grievous with a slow mechanical body wracked with pain, sidious would have failed as anakin wouldnt have been able to stop mace, the empire wouldn't happen and star wars would suck :(
This is Vader inside the mind of a young Anakin, body undamaged with all his limbs in tact 😊 but you are right that Anakin in the damaged body of Darth Vader would be in immense pain in the suit and how he overcomes that will be interesting to see as the story continues!
