This is a really cool what if story! Annoyingly a lot of points don’t make sense such as Anakin getting bullied by other younglings - the reason he was bullied in the og timeline was because he started training really late and because he was a slave child. In this new timeline qui gon wouldn’t be the father figure Anakin desperately needed as in this timeline he was taken in as a baby and wouldn’t need the father figure. Dooku is dead? How? Because in the og timeline Dooku only died because Anakin was using the dark side and Palpatine prodded him to “dew it”. In this timeline Anakin doesn’t have all these dark side tendencies Would Palpatine really reveal himself to Anakin just like the og timeline when his influence on Anakin is far less than the og timeline? He also doesn’t have anything to lure Anakin like using padmes death vision or the fact Anakins mum got killed by the tuskens. Anakin probably wouldn’t be that distraught over Qui gons death as Qui gon lived much longer so would have completed his training with the shaman of the wills to become a proper force ghost. So Anakin could literally talk to qui gon whenever he likes pretty much
Without the attachment to his mother and his love for Padme, there was nothing to cause the turmoil that turned him in the movies. Very few plot holes considering how much it diverged from the movies. I sense great potential in you.
i dont think it would have mattered; looking at Jedi philosophy they dont teach anyone how to deal with their emotions, they only teach repression of those emotions. it happens over and over in Star Wars lore, not all but many Jedi when simultaneously confronted by an emotional and actual emergent (situational hypocrisy) situation in which Jedi philosophy doesnt have an easy answer, that Jedi in many instances, winds up turning (ie Count Dooku, Quinlan Voss, Asajj Ventress, Barriss Offee, Exar Kun, etc...) in legends material Luke Skywalker figures this out and makes changes in his new Jedi order... most people are just naturally emotional and Jedi philosophy as presented in the Prequals was ill suited to the overly emotional type.
Yes that's very true, but Anakin's emotions were amplified by Padme and leaving his mother after being with her for the first 9 years of his life. He had so much trauma as a kid that he never would have experienced and the Jedi do teach you to control your emotions. So I think things would have gone very different because he was raised to not show his emotions essentially.
But if he is taken at very young age like 2 then he would not have attachments to his mother and with a proper teaching he would not develop them for padme probably, at least not in unhealthy way
@@Vuk3 you argument is a complete non sequitur; it comes down to a 'nature vs nurture' argument, i believe Anakin is who he is, growing up strictly as a Jedi doesnt inoculate anyone from falling to the dark side, in all likely hood it may have slowed down the process but eventually he would turn because lets be honest, the Jedi were not the "good guys" in every situation and particularly in the clone wars era. looking at the big political argument of the day; the Separatists were right! the Republic was a corrupt, bloated mess only capable of taking care of the core worlds. of course they were co-opted by the sith but that doesnt negate their initial argument... now ur gonna throw a 100% jedi trained Skywalker into a fray where he will eventually see the hypocrisy of the republic... its exactly what happened to Dooku.
@@tonyf8167 yes you are right, it does not, but it does help by quiet a lot I mean jedi did have a bad way of teaching younglings and taking them into order from young age but this was good but also bad in same time, in theory if anakin was taken from very very young age and trained to be a warrior he would not remember his mother which means no attachment Also qui gonn would train him and he was jedi that followed a force not a jedi way, he would have been a perfect teacher Problem is that dooku fell to the dark side because of reasons you said not because he wanted to save someone he loved Even qui gonn saw trough failed jedi way and refused seat on jedi council Sure anakin could turn to the dark side but his chances would have been much smaller

Did a great job of story telling and know your star wars lore is very rare to see since a lot want their POV told, not the lore of the storyline is awesome.
No because Dooku’s form struggles with aggressive confident and overwhelming forms like Anakin’s. Which is why when properly channelled he beats him (as with the original timeline). With proper training from youth and less of the arrogance, he’s got the upper hand in age and technique. He’s not going to lose with a more advanced form. Duelist forms like Dooku’s aren’t flawless, they’re simply efficient and give you a solid upper hand against the Ill disciplined. Anakin with a balanced mind can leverage his forms aforementioned aggression whilst also punishing on the counter attack. I don’t think the count has a way of holding him off in that scenario.
If he started from very young age by time of episode 2 he would be more powerful than yoda and sidious, basically dooku would meet his end quiet quickly
I feel like in this version of events Palps would try to kill Qui Gon and Ashoka to lead Anakin to the dark side rather than just reveal himself outright. He is insanely intelligent and this would line up with his personality
Yeah Icarus. Every time someone brings up a fantasy of “if only”, they seem to forget that a huge part of Palpatine’s brilliance and threat was his ability to instantly adapt all his plans to new developments. Very possible he would’ve ended up with a much more powerful Anakin for an apprentice.
@@mjwolf9529 Yes exactly. I understand it’s a what if, but the characters in question are still the same people down to the core and would ultimately make decisions based on their personality and experience.
I addressed this too, revealing himself like he did in the movie would have been an idiot move if he wasn´t confident that he could turn Anakin. In my version he either backstabs Anakin or a duel ensues.
Hokay, several problems with this: - Sifo Dyas, Dooku, and Jinn all were at odds with the order because of their belief in the Chosen One, and with him discovered I have doubts they would allow this chosen one to train with any of them. He would likely be trained directly by Yoda or Windu to ensure indoctrination and orthodoxy. - Form 4 is fine, but I think Windu would push to train the chosen one in Vapaad as well as he would be one of the few younglings skilled enough to master the variant form and its requirements of proper temperament and emotional control. This emotional control would be essential to avoiding what happens in the timeline we know. - Some of the events of the Phantom Menace may still happen, but without Anakin on that planet to be the cause of them getting off of it, it is possible that Maul instead succeeds in tracking down and assassinating Jinn, Kenobi, and Amidala. This can pave the way more quickly for the Sith Grand Plan - Since the presence of the Sith is not revealed during the invasion of Naboo, Palpatine must find a different route to the Chancellor seat, perhaps using Padme's successor as queen as Valorum failed to stop the invasion and it cost the life of their political leader. Also it is plausible that Dyas never orders the Clone Army if he is never made aware of the return of the Sith, and if the deaths of Dyas and Jinn never encourage Dooku to leave the order he may never become an apprentice to Sidious nor lead the Separatist movement. - To execute the absolute authority of the Grand Plan, Sidious MUST create a long standing war or other ongoing galactic disaster to have the senate grant him all the emergency powers and appointments. So he may still work through other political ideologists to oppose the Republic, but it will be harder and have different figureheads. But he will not have to worry about Amidala who was a primary opposition before and during the Clone Wars. - It is possible that Anakin will never personally meet Palpatine if his masters are Yoda or Windu as Sidious generally avoided most of the Council to avoid detection, and so focus may be more on destroying this boy than on recruiting him as he will lack all of the weaknesses he developed because of how history unfolded in the normal timeline - If Sidious is revealed at any point, it is possible that the combined power of the Council and Skywalker might outright defeat the Sith Lord and the entire Empire timeline is averted.
What happened to the mom though. Ani originally left home at a young age too, so you can't rule out his yearning to meetup with his mom again. You could give a positive note where Ani would be able to visit often, and at one point, earlier than the raiders. Preventing all the torture his mom would've endured.
He wouldn’t have had a real emotional attachment to his mother due to him being taken at an early age i dont think he would feel the need to visit his mom
I always thought that The Choosen one was to bring balance to the force. If he never went to the dark side it defeats the purpose of him balancing out the force. The jedi were lost and weaker than there predecessors because they lost touch with the force by being in fear of instead of accepting and understanding the use of the dark side. Ultimately Anakin/Vader did exactly what he was meant to do.
The light side is the force in balance. The distinction between the dark and light side is that the light side represents the natural order of things - light side users let the force "flow through them." They listen to the will of the force, they don't try to bend it to their own will. Sith bend the force to their will through their willpower. They don't listen to the will of the force, they deny the will of all others than their own. This is the reason why Jedi and Sith powers work the way they do. The light side is highly connected to nature - to the living world. The light side grants powers of healing, physical enhancement, awareness, etc. It makes one in tune with the universe - sets them at peace. It's this balance that allows Jedi to become one with the force on death, and it's the very reason Sith cannot. The Dark Side grants many abilities, some considered to be unnatural." - Palpatine. Compared to the very natural order focus of light side abilities, dark side abilities do the exact opposite. Sith can enhance themselves physically like the Jedi, but to a much greater, physiologically impossible, degree. That's why Sith are so unbelievably durable whereas Jedi are not. Anakin was burned alive and had his lungs scorched by the lava, yet he lived long enough for Sidious to save him. Windu was taken out immediately when struck by lightning, but Vader was able to endure it for some time before throwing Palpatine to his death. Maul survived being cut in half. In legends, Bane survived his own lightning storm (with the aid of his armor some) that was noted to instantly kill others. Sion was a walking pile of ashes. Nihilus didn't even have a physical body anymore. The unnatural nature of the dark side is also why the Sith can become literal ghosts after they die, but cannot join the force. Their willpower can use the force to keep them alive, but because they deny the will of the force, they cannot join it the same. Ironically, in their search for immortality, Sith blocked themselves off from the only way to become truly immortal. At the time of clone wars, in terms of power the Jedi were at their all time high with people like Yoda, and Windu, but they had fallen farther from the Jedi path then ever before. They stopped listening so much to the will of the force as the will of the senate. Had they still been good, they could have helped Anakin and he could have destroyed Sidious. But, because they were so caught up in their own politics and dogma, he fell right through their fingers.
With AI tech advancing as rapidly as it is, it's gonna be so cool to see these "What if" scenarios actually play out on screen, with a striking degree of accuracy.
I honestly think that the council would have made plo koon his master because they probably would have wanted to extract as much out of anakin and reach his full potentia. This was a fun video, sometimes though I feel like writers forget the force when coming up with scenes. If there were a hundred jedi, they would not need to use lightsabers. If they all used the force at once, they could contain Palpatine so he couldn't move, bind him with restraints and the battle would be over before it began.
Great video!!! I love these what ifs!!! I just love this channel!!! Small thing: I think even Anakin should probably first learn to walk and talk, so its not 100% possible to be trained until he is abit older. I dont think that he learned those skills immediately
This “what if …?” story is perfect. If Anakin had been trained from birth, he never would’ve become Darth Vader and he would’ve restored balance to the force by killing Darth Maul.
It is from a darth malgus old republic thing where the twilek was taken by the jedi by herself instead of her and her brother because she was stronger in the force. Then malgus manipulates her and made her kinda betray her master
One thing that should be done by disney plus is a What if series but for star wars. Minus the watcher or something is could be from the point of view from the father of the light side and the dark Mortis. Then this story would be perfect in what could’ve happened.
But they would still have crashed on Tatooine because of the mission to Naboo. Anakin not being there simply means they would have to find another way off world. They still would have faced Maul on both Tatooine and Naboo, and Qui Gon would probably still have died. Anakin being found earlier doesn't change that, they weren't there to look for him. The trade federation might even have won, considering Anakin wouldn't be there to blow up the ship in the AU.

Do you see my ideas from the comments response to "What If Yoda Trained Anakin Skywalker?" and which of these ideas do you like the most? Anyway, this is a great video, Mr. FL. So keep trying your best even if you don't have many likes, but always keep your dreams high and shine when you succeed. May the Force Be With You!
I guess she would be freed later on by the Lars family, so even Shimi would have a somewhat happy ending.
If Qui Gon survived in Episode I I'm sure that the entire Story would be different in a good way and that Anakin wouldn't joined the dark side

A small criticism gui-gon would have disappeared like yoda and obi wan did because it would have been enough time for him to finish his ghost training as he discovered it but died before he could finished learning
Idk how u don’t have 100k subs this channel is very underrated
To add on to this, I feel like Anakin would've reached his full light-side force potential being the most powerful jedi to ever exist. He would most likely be able to throw moons out of orbit with the force if he wanted to

It's pretty good really awesome indeed but then Anakin Skywalker would not fall in love with Padme or have kids and we all know how important that is but that's okay because they are not the chosen one Anakin Skywalker is
This is a really cool what if story!
In this timeline Anakin doesn’t have all these dark side tendencies
Would Palpatine really reveal himself to Anakin just like the og timeline when his influence on Anakin is far less than the og timeline?
Bro this channel's content is literally under-rated :/ I hope you get a lot of subs :)
i dont think it would have mattered; looking at Jedi philosophy they dont teach anyone how to deal with their emotions, they only teach repression of those emotions. it happens over and over in Star Wars lore, not all but many Jedi when simultaneously confronted by an emotional and actual emergent (situational hypocrisy) situation in which Jedi philosophy doesnt have an easy answer, that Jedi in many instances, winds up turning (ie Count Dooku, Quinlan Voss, Asajj Ventress, Barriss Offee, Exar Kun, etc...)
in legends material Luke Skywalker figures this out and makes changes in his new Jedi order...
most people are just naturally emotional and Jedi philosophy as presented in the Prequals was ill suited to the overly emotional type.
@@tonyf8167 yes you are right, it does not, but it does help by quiet a lot
I mean jedi did have a bad way of teaching younglings and taking them into order from young age but this was good but also bad in same time, in theory if anakin was taken from very very young age and trained to be a warrior he would not remember his mother which means no attachment
Also qui gonn would train him and he was jedi that followed a force not a jedi way, he would have been a perfect teacher
Problem is that dooku fell to the dark side because of reasons you said not because he wanted to save someone he loved
Even qui gonn saw trough failed jedi way and refused seat on jedi council
Sure anakin could turn to the dark side but his chances would have been much smaller
@@tonyf8167 The separatists where right about separating from republic, but not about forcing this separation to others. Also, Qui Gonn also keep with the jedi order because 'they where not the good guys" but they where the better they had at the time. If Anakin was in the jedi order as Quin Gonn's aprentice, he would have turned the jedi order to an pretty better way
Super entertaining, aligns with the story (with some changes of course), great work! I really enjoyed this!
nice video. I think you missed out on the most important part of the "chosen one" thing. Anakin has to destroy the sith not just the side characters lol. also I think Obi Wan still would have been like a brother to anakin because of his connection to qui gon. finally wouldn't the dooku situation probably be different? big news spreads fast. dooku would have known about the chosen one and probably would been instrumental in Anakins lightsaber training.
Palpatine just chillin' in his chambers, with Yoda approaching.
This is exactly how I pictured Anakin to become had Qui-Gon not been killed by Maul I think even Obi Won would've been a little jealous of Qui-Gon & Anakin's bond & yes Ahsoka would round out the duo.
Absolutely love this story line you have made. Wish we could see a what if series bassed on your interpretation.
What if Anakin was taught in the Old Republic era, by Master Arca Jeth or Vodo-Siosk Baas?
I'm doing 'What If Anakin Was Born in the Old Republic?" Next week!
So just Revans story?
Love the idea of Anakin getting trained by Qui-Gon! It seemed like the perfect situation, and even though (at least if things played out the same way they did here) the sequels we all know and love wouldn't happen due to Palpatine dying and Anakin staying in the light, I still wish Anakin would have gotten to know Qui Gon more.
Please make "What if Jar Jar Binks was a Sith Lord?"
It will happen.
It’s already canon

This was good but idk if dooku would turn full sith cause the main reason he did was qui gon dying
Did a great job of story telling and know your star wars lore is very rare to see since a lot want their POV told, not the lore of the storyline is awesome.
My Question, Does Anakin ever lose an arm fighting count dooku like in attack of the clones?
Yes when using Form VI
Bail Organa as Supreme Chancellor? Man, that would make too much sense and it sounds like an amazing idea.
Hokay, several problems with this:
- Sifo Dyas, Dooku, and Jinn all were at odds with the order because of their belief in the Chosen One, and with him discovered I have doubts they would allow this chosen one to train with any of them.
This can pave the way more quickly for the Sith Grand Plan
- Since the presence of the Sith is not revealed during the invasion of Naboo, Palpatine must find a different route to the Chancellor seat, perhaps using Padme's successor as queen as Valorum failed to stop the invasion and it cost the life of their political leader.
- It is possible that Anakin will never personally meet Palpatine if his masters are Yoda or Windu as Sidious generally avoided most of the Council to avoid detection, and so focus may be more on destroying this boy than on recruiting him as he will lack all of the weaknesses he developed because of how history unfolded in the normal timeline
- If Sidious is revealed at any point, it is possible that the combined power of the Council and Skywalker might outright defeat the Sith Lord and the entire Empire timeline is averted.
What happened to the mom though. Ani originally left home at a young age too, so you can't rule out his yearning to meetup with his mom again.
You could give a positive note where Ani would be able to visit often, and at one point, earlier than the raiders. Preventing all the torture his mom would've endured.
He wouldn’t have had a real emotional attachment to his mother due to him being taken at an early age i dont think he would feel the need to visit his mom
she would escape tattooine and live a happy life in another planet
he wouldnt have had a bond with her and she would probably get saved by the guy who married her in the prequals
Tuskins would've taken her hostage like before, but because her son had no memory of her, her story ends there.
Why would he yearn to meet his mum? No other youngling yearned for their family that they have 0 emotional connection too
I keep watching this and every time i watch this i get more excited
Maybe one day they will do "What If" series for the franchise this would be a good one to see
Well Done
What if LUKE was trained from birth?! He didn't learn about the force until he was in his late teens and he still became a powerful Jedi master!
And because plo koon is one of the only ones to have defeated yoda in sparring, they would have seen him as being the perfect master for anakin.
please don´t overrate plo koon that much.... I hate it when I always see those guys who overrate them because some youtube videos

WHAT THE F---?!
Anakin Skywalker isn't suited to Form IV Ataru...that's why he started with form I like all Padawan learners then moved to Form III later on because of Obi-Wan.
Then when he found found Form III wasn't for him...he used Form VI for a while...he found that lacking in offensive power so he switched to Form V Shien at first..then changed his style again to Djem-So with Form IV Ataru as a secondary style.
Shien and djem so are both form 5 and it really suit Anakin style.
Palpy could have teach juyo to Vader tho… but then again with his robotic body djem so was even more op

They may have not had a brotherhood the same way as canon, but still a very tight friendship
Is no one gonna talk about how cool the thumbnail is? I also would love to see dual wielding purple lightsaber Anakin 😎
You underestimate Sideous’s intelligence. He only tempted Anakin and reveals himself to him because Sideous sensed Anakin’s darkness. More likely that Sideous would try to kill Anakin, either by surprise or during order 66.
"Lose once to the Sith and it's game over. They took the rule book"..... (Oh you can try to win without knowing the rules, good Luke with that.)
That would've been so interesting to see!
It would be so cool if Disney did something like the Marvel What if series but for Star Wars. We could see stuff like this with a real production behind it; a bunch of short non-canon stories. It would be a hit too
If Anakin had been trained from birth to be a Jedi then space nerds around the galaxy wouldn’t have anything to vlog about.
This is a good fanfiction, I've seen one other where qui Gon jinn survived, and trained anikin as more of a gray Jedi outside the walls of the Jedi council
This was a fun video, sometimes though I feel like writers forget the force when coming up with scenes. If there were a hundred jedi, they would not need to use lightsabers. If they all used the force at once, they could contain Palpatine so he couldn't move, bind him with restraints and the battle would be over before it began.

"We still do not grant you the rank of master. we grant you the rank of grand master"
This “what if …?” story is perfect. If Anakin had been trained from birth, he never would’ve become Darth Vader and he would’ve restored balance to the force by killing Darth Maul.
That was great loved it

It is from a darth malgus old republic thing where the twilek was taken by the jedi by herself instead of her and her brother because she was stronger in the force. Then malgus manipulates her and made her kinda betray her master
One thing that should be done by disney plus is a What if series but for star wars. Minus the watcher or something is could be from the point of view from the father of the light side and the dark Mortis. Then this story would be perfect in what could’ve happened.
BRO THE THUMBNAIL IS INSANEEEEEE
A dope what if.. Definitely sounds plausible..
The storytelling is so great
But they would still have crashed on Tatooine because of the mission to Naboo.
I love this!
Thank you!
Omg… why can’t qui gon ever just die from old age in these things.. sheesh. 😢 awesome! Loved it :)
It’s honestly as simple as if Anakin never had to worry about his mom then he wouldn’t go to the dark because he wouldn’t have the anger that started it all
