I can’t believe Aris used to say “BOOOM” like Rip lmao
That took me of guard too, lmao.
Rip stole the term from Aris.
I hate rip, what a complete poser
Aris has been grinding for too long man
Respect
Aris likes to yank on his Korean Stick #Kappa
Nice review, Got a crown in my Eightarc and I love the korean sticks.
*****
Congrats I make a joke you call me retarded. *claps*
Probably the best name for a channel ever
Selling fight sticks like a vacuum
Great review Aris. I made a custom SE awhile back with the exact same parts and it works great. I really like sanwa buttons over korean buttons. Plus I didnt break the bank, the whole project was aboit $55
Man, I never watched Arnis back in his trihard days.
I would kill to see a video comparison between korean, japanese and hitbox controllers. Your opinion means a lot to me. :|
Ok guys, I bought this and it works great so far! I suck with stick, but its very easy to use! I'm mainly a PC gamer, but used this on Ultra Street Fighter 4 and its plug and play. Even adds a new control option for MadCatz Controller. Good stuff
If this is your first stick nevermind this. If it isn't and you've used Sanwa joysticks in the past, how do you like the Korean stick compared to Sanwa's JLF?
tavis Taite First one i've bought, but I've played with others. I like the resistance on the stick a lot, I think I prefer it over the spring-type ones. I will say that I wish the buttons were a bit more raised, they feel a bit flat and don't offer much resistance
ive watched this video on more than one occasion and i can say its still a good video
Korean arcade sticks been around since the early 90's especially in the u.s.
What. People keep saying this but I never saw them. Someone just made that up and you believe it. American levers look like Korean levers.
An other notable difference between the vewlix and the noir layout is that on the noir layout there is more distance between the lever and the buttons.
this fighting is awesome I love it. I just multi mod this stick and change the art. I just wish mad catz chose myoungshin fanta instead of 303-a crown but overall this arcade stick is perfect
I'm a pad player but I plan on getting a Japanese type stick for PS4 in late 2014.
As someone that has always preferred to hammer my sticks & grew up on arcades featuring bat sticks, this sounds like the upgrade I need.
Forget my comment amigo, I entered the web and saw it, thx for this vid amigo.
You're awesome, continue doing that goooooooood work with your channel!!
No wonder Madcatz went outta business - they were selling sticks for $90 a pop through Barnis? Come on man
This was the best arcade stick I’ve ever used
u gotta be trolling right ?
This stick works with the PS4?
Noel Molina only with a ps3-to-ps4 Brook converter I think. I feel like you could try to use it on a game that has legacy support but using a converter is smoother and reliable for a wider variety of games
so is this stick like non existent now?
I'm pretty sure they are still out there if you look hard enough but they will mostly likely be resells with a bunch of broken shit
I was able to get one of these from your giveaway on episode 25 of ATP live. It took some time for me to get used to the directional inputs. However, once I got used to the circle gate, my ability to backdash and wavedash seemed to be way better than on my Japanese fightstick.
Can it compare to the Hayabusa stick?
I can only compare it to the Hori RAP SA Kai. They both seem to be amazing sticks, but this Korean stick seems to be too noisy when you break it in. The Mad Catz Korean Edition stick is very efficient for 3D fighters, but the squeaky noise of the stick over time can get annoying ( IMO at least).
TekkenOtakuHD Do you use it for games like SFIV? If so how does it feel when playing that particular game?
crazyman606202 Sorry for the late reply, but this fightstick seems to be optimal for 3d fighters. Playing 2d fighters, like SFIV, feels more natural when using a Japanese fightstick. However, this doesn't mean that a bat top wont suffice. It all depends on preference.
I have this stick, bought it in April 2014 for $109. Used it 2 or 3 times tops. Its sitting under my TV Mount collecting dust.
i would buy it but i dont live in USA..
Vader...You Seek Vader! You plan on using it again?
Looking to sell it? Where you located?
couldnt you just mod a sanwa japanese stick to have the korean lever?
Not readily. Hard mod with drilling maybe. It requires different size panel opening and mounting options.
our battop square gate also would be awesome
Hey ATP can you make a review for:
1-current eTtoki Omni Arcade Stick?
2- (Myoungshin Fanta) - (Crown CWJ-303N) - (Crown CWJ-303A / 303-FK)
is it compatible for pc and ps3?
if you have a nvidia chipset no anything else yes
elchickenado What do you mean by Nvidia Chipset? Nvidia GFX Card? Or Intel Processor?
neither they no longer produce them unless you have a computer from 2004 so i use this stick its very good and i like that its small so it fits under my desk
it says for PS3 on the website?
I was going to use it for tekken7 on PS4 will it stilll work?
shredtilyurdead yes I got mine yesterday and it works. You just can't go to the home page with the stick and the pad button is "select" on the stick
Chaale Voran how the hell did u get it?
aris...are you from greece?
He's Armenian.
He's Romanian
Ehsan Hussain he's pedestrian
He's a Homospaien.
He’s gay
What is a good Korean Fight stick in 2018. Really would like to get one but no shops in the UK sells them.
Is there a good website that ships overseas?
Just build your own. If you don't wanna build more than one, try to buy a case tall enough to fit the korean stick and then follow a standard custom stick building guide
eTokki is the go-to choice.
Hey Aris, on my korean stick I have trouble entering directly diagonal inputs. So, whenever I wanna press df or db (only!), it acually registers f,df or d,df for df and b,db or d,db for db (according to TTT2 command history in practice mode). My japanese stick or gamepad obviously don't do that. What gives?
It could either be that your stick isn't operating correctly or that you are more used to a square restricter gate guiding you to the angles.
you're dealing with no gate, or the equivalent of a circle gate. Since it's not square you have to know where your corners are. I'm able to KBDC just fine, just know your corners.
Avoiding The Puddle Korean sticks i found alot more fliud then japanese sticks. Japanese tend to have the tendency of that need force of yanking it to make good direction while korean is more smooth motion.
Take a shot everytime he says stick. Good luck 😂
5 solid meat spins lol
hey how are the diagonals on the korean crown? im thinking on make an arcade controller i like tension i was deciding between korean or IL euro
Speech Level: 100
if they are that good then why aren't they main stream? They only showed once at Madcatz store
Korean sticks are mostly used for 3D fighters, Sanwa products are better for 2D fighters. Since 2D fighters are more popular (anime fighters, street fighter, marvel, etc), Sanwas get more time in the spotlight. However, as Aris said, Infiltration uses a Korean stick, so it really boils down to preference.
I wish they could come with the box autographed
is there a way to buy one of these sticks from europe ? madcatz doesn't ship to europe..
you could also just mod a TE Stick with a Crown stick, they sell them at etokki.
Do you have any used fight stick square gate balltop for sale.
This is the second time I've watched this video. Aris is too cool man.
looking back at this more people would have bought this if this was on a regular te instead of this smaller one.
How can i buy this
Nowadays, eBay would probably be your best bet (or whatever used-goods platforms you have where you live). That being said, I haven't seen too many of those around; it's been a couple of years after all, not to mention that this was a limited run.
can i use it with windows 10 as there now doing good games n stuff
these are IMPOSSIBLE to find now lmao
Tbf their are much better korean sticks out there now.
@@thissmithymanga7119 which sticks do you think are the best at the moment the Etokki Omni?
Wonder if they make this still?
They are out of business
what would you suggest for a ps4?
Will it work with pc if I got my hands on 1?
360 or xbone version yes they should be plug and play as long as they are wired ps3 ps4 you have to get some 3rd party software its usually free so no biggie either way
Yoooo Aris you still got any sticks left? I'm tryna cop for tekken 7. Does it work on PS4?
i doubt it as it might have drivers for just pc and ps3 and to my understanding the ps4 uses different drivers, useless the game support s the drivers like something like skull girls 2th encore, witch is compatible with ps3 sticks on ps4
OK... I went to the link and on the madcats site the wasn't any fightsticks for Xbox one.. Smh!!
jwan jones they went bankrupt awhile ago.
+lalapeanutbutter OK thanks for letting me know
Amigo, where can I find 1 for Xbox360?
Check out the video description for the discounted price.
Avoiding The Puddle I'm sure you don't care but... I couldn't buy the fightstick ke, but I bought the pro fightstick one... I was late to the offer T_T (but thx anyways amigo, next time I will be faster xD)
If you still wanna try the korean stick, they're selling the joystick for $30.00 or so shipped at www.FocusAttack.com. It's really easy to install, so if you're still interested, buy it! Make sure you get the 5-pin converter too, which I believe you can get bundled with it.
Is hooking this up to PC hard/is it compatible?
Its compatible. If its like the usual mad catz sticks, it pretty much plug and play. From my personal experience, when I use my chun-li te for steam, its plug and play.
great review aris
5 out of 5 meatsicks, A++++ would watch again
Available for UK?
Yes.
I want buy this arcade stick, but not have more in stock. :(
great review thanks
dude you're so underrated
Korean crown lever bat-top joysticks are awesome because they don't need restrictor gates. They rely on micro switches for stick movement.
"...you trust them, Madcatz has been around for years..."
ANDDD... they went bankrupt and ceased production just 2 years later after this video. Lol. Yeah.
Not because they don't constantly sell out of the sticks. The management of the company made some dumb deals with manufacturing of Rock bank or Guitar Hero parts. As far as I can tell the sticks are hard to find , so they didn't mess anything up there.
ANDDD... now they are back from the dead, thx Lord Aris^^
Do a review on an American Stick
Holy shit its cheech marin with a beard.
Bruh imagine what these would go for on eBay now
Man..I can't even find this dam stick for 360 =_=
Tweet markman!
great review man, im probably gonna buy one. big question though, does this ps3 one work on pc?
on steam yes. for me at least
***** was it a plug and play?
UG6 Yes it is
Eikichi Onizuka do i go with this or hori vx 360 fight stick? I'd be playing street fighter if it would help the choice

that lip smacking is insufferable. im so glad he got over it in his recent stuff.
get over yourself
Yea jesus
This guy looks like modern jesus. I'm going to call you RNGesus
Fuckin essays
These are so expensive though. And even a $160 stick has 15ms input lag. REEEE
Nelli no prob just find a madcatz se and switch out the buttons could get for less than $110
15 ms is just barely a single frame. If you're playing on PC it wont matter, if you're playing on consoles maybe it'll be an issue in really tight situations due to the added lag of console games. But with a good TV or gaming monitor, a single frame of lag is hardly an issue. The other thing is that online that tiny bit of input lag isnt gonna effect you as you're already at the whims of the netcode and an internet connection.
You know, I was thinking the same, plus I am on pc with fast sync. ~70ms of input lag +-14ms still much less than vsync ~130ms. I actually ordered rap4kai because of black Friday deal since it was 25% off.
Darksydephil doppelganger
Dislike because you kept pronouncing "Rah-yoo". Come on, I understand some people grew up mispronouncing it, and you got used to that pronunciation, but it's been 30 years.
Who cares
Just bought this stick, since I've seen so many good reviews to it.
hows it holding up? ive been wanting to pick up a stick for a while now and i think im ready to shell out for one lol
It works great, just remember that its very small in size, so it could take time to get used to it.
EmbodiedArgosax mm.. ive got pretty small hands so im not sure it being small will be too big of an issue. thanks.
have you modded yours at all? wondering how easy it would be to replace the gates on this (i have pretty much no knowledge on arcade stick whatsoever, all i know is most people go for japanese sanwa sticks and this being a different type idk if theres any difference in modability. i ASSUME there isnt)
MrPandaKitten I haven't modded the stick, but I have a couple of friends that mod sticks, I'm gonna ask them so then I could give you a better answer.
EmbodiedArgosax i appreciate that, thank you :)
Anyways, very nice review, convinced me to purchase the stick, you've earned yourself a subscriber :)
Does it work on ps4?
stu maxi Works with Mortal Kombat and should work for Skullgirls
