Your dog is awesome. Kind of off topic haha. Thanks for showing you building your fightstick. I was curious if I could build my own and it looks do-able. Appreciate the time taken to explain what you are doing too, rather than just doing it without explanation. Actual effort seems to be rare nowadays.
Thank you for the highly entertaining and informative video. I bought this same fightstick at my local record shop for 25$ today and going to replace some parts.
Not to take anything away from the video but your dog and my dog have to be from the same litter or something they look so much a like. Thanks for the vid and handsome looking dog.
11:50 Next Step... I didn't even know what the next step is :) Nice tutorial, I like taking things apart, then putting them back together again lol. I was planning on making a fightstick a few years ago but I'm not really good with these type of games.
I watched this vid years ago when I was in highschool and think we spoke in comments back then. My stick still works so smooth it's crazy, was fine on my PS4 and PC today. Can I still get these parts and designs though?
Where did you buy that art work? I amlooking at your link and it sjust a DL For the pick. but itd look horrible coming out of my printer. Not many areas around here that print shiz either.
I know it's been a while since you did this video, but any chance of an updated link for the template? I'm looking to update my SFxT stick, and maybe new art or at least plexiglass might be in the cards for me (along with a logic board replacement).
did you ever get the other fightstick you think people should be using, i was trying to find the video you said you'd do on it but can't. is there a link to the video if you have one.
great tutorial. i was looking for an art mod vid for the sfxt fightstick cause even though ive changed out my buttons the stock art is terrible. i was wondering if i could get away with just getting a laminated sticker made and skipping out on the plexi.
there actually is. i cant remember what its called but i remember seeing something for it. There's also the option of taking a ps4 controller and taking it apart and using that board to make it work but its a lot more tedious.
Ah, So you just printed it out at a place near you. Really nice DP Graphics. Love em lol. May have to try and set my own graphics up then lol. Keep the vids up. Maybe one day toss out a set up vid of how your gaming set up looks?
hello mr gamingdekap... i want to ask, between this SFXT pro and Soul Calibur SE by madcatz, which one is better? in term of durable, quality, comfort, and performance?
+StuartEvil Dunno if you found out already but there's a site called Art's hobbies (tek-innovations) where you can send in your own artwork and get it printed for $5. As for ordering artwork that's already made, I don't know about that, but you can download artwork off the internet and send that in.
if you get the tournament edition, you can order a custom full top panel replacement from ART, it will replace all top panel with one made of plexy, with whatever layout you want
maybe you should make a few shirts or something and see how they sell its not my idea i have seen a few people want a shirt with a saying of yours on it
basically. the reason the SFxT version is more expensive is because they're limited edition but in comparison both fightsticks are pretty much the same.
Julian Ayala sorry for late reply.. just bought a standard PS3/PC fightstick Pro - will all the items on art hobbies site work with might even if labeled as SFxT Pro? - figure the layout/size is same.. just the artwork?
Phil Maclachlan i believe the layout would be the same because the SFxT version of the fightstick pro is the same as the regular fightstick pro just different art work.
***** Just poke some holes where the screws go so you can keep the original art. The new art/ plexi already tells you where they're at. I'm thinking about getting one of these, but I'd like to keep the old art AND be able to put new stuff over it.
buttons/artwork/plexi-$80. i would of never replaced the buttons if i thought they were ok but impossible game made me really beat the hell out of those buttons.
I dig the added plexi glass, it gives it a very....sturdy/classy look.
Your dog is awesome. Kind of off topic haha.

The only sfxt stick tutorial on yt that goes in depth. Thanks my man! Thumbs up
9 years later, what an entertaining video, lol... :))
Not to take anything away from the video but your dog and my dog have to be from the same litter or something they look so much a like. Thanks for the vid and handsome looking dog.
11:50 Next Step... I didn't even know what the next step is :)

"A very not good look moment!"Lmao..Thanks for the help.
Dekap you should do a mail video where fans send you mail it'll be lots of fun! :)
it was off way worst. having problems with the webcam lately. looking into a actual video camera so hopefully things will be better in the future.
@gamingdekap could you make a small tutorial video about what you mean when you refer to buttons as 1 2 3 4?
I have the same ball top, I like Seimitsu stick with sanwa buttons, what I used when I used to be heavy into fighting games
It's a million times slicker than the original art and I will be doing some jstice to my qanba as soon as I can get something done to my taste.
I watched this vid years ago when I was in highschool and think we spoke in comments back then. My stick still works so smooth it's crazy, was fine on my PS4 and PC today. Can I still get these parts and designs though?
Cool video. Hey do you sell any T-shirts or merchandise like Dekap things?
may be removed after having put it, that happens with the leftover points off the screws? the plexiglass is a sticker?
now im wondering if you notice the lip of the edge of the plexi when youre playing because i cant imagine it rests flush?
Kinkos/FedEx Office isn't supposed to print out stuff with art covered by copyright, so other options might be better. Just a heads up.
On this stick do you use the Sanwa GT-Y octagonal gate?
yeah takes time. try different ways of holding the stick too. i tried 5 different ways before finding my grip
friend good afternoon could you help me with the measurements or the design of the artwork of art I can't find it anywhere
oh yeah i wanted to ask you how you house trained you're pit or where you learned how to house train him
So do a lot of people use fight sticks or is this like a elite type thing?
Hey is your dog a boxer dekap looks real nice in the video seems well trained to, is that dog yours or is it a family dog. Great video bro
Where you get all your stuff from like billions and stick and glass and art am trying to do the same
hi, can the plate that the joystick mounts to be screwed off, or is it soldered on?
Cool video but can you tell me if u ever made the video of the fight stick u recommend.
Where did you buy that art work? I amlooking at your link and it sjust a DL For the pick. but itd look horrible coming out of my printer. Not many areas around here that print shiz either.
How long do you recommend heating up the original art to get it off cleanly? You didn't state how long in your vid and just used a jump cut
couple minutes should be fine.
YEZ!! like the metal rack on a t-shirt would be awsome
I know it's been a while since you did this video, but any chance of an updated link for the template? I'm looking to update my SFxT stick, and maybe new art or at least plexiglass might be in the cards for me (along with a logic board replacement).
im pretty sure focusattack has a link to a template, look up the SFxT stick on their site and i remember i found a template in the artwork page
you should have Paul take a look at the cabinet on your fightstick and have him try and make it sick like an abrstract design ya know?
You should it would make some incredible designed graphic t shirts I would buy one
I wanna see you do some sports dekap...
I this one yesterday and its my first stick, learning to adapt from pad to stick
did you ever get the other fightstick you think people should be using, i was trying to find the video you said you'd do on it but can't. is there a link to the video if you have one.
great tutorial. i was looking for an art mod vid for the sfxt fightstick cause even though ive changed out my buttons the stock art is terrible. i was wondering if i could get away with just getting a laminated sticker made and skipping out on the plexi.
thanks for this tutorial. This put things in better context for me.
man, I have the same fightstick, what model of plexi cover do you choose?
why did you get new sanwa stick and buttons when the original were already sanwa?
Is this same as the new FightStick PRO normal one? I mean, are the interior (e.g. wiring) all the same?
Is there a board you could replace to make it compatible with Switch and/or PS4?
there actually is. i cant remember what its called but i remember seeing something for it. There's also the option of taking a ps4 controller and taking it apart and using that board to make it work but its a lot more tedious.
Ah, So you just printed it out at a place near you. Really nice DP Graphics. Love em lol. May have to try and set my own graphics up then lol. Keep the vids up. Maybe one day toss out a set up vid of how your gaming set up looks?
what are the measurements of the metal plate? I made my own art in CS6 and I wanted to make sure the template is to scale, unless it is from DL.
kinkos? ups store? the actual graphics i put together myself using the template in the description
link in description
I have a madcatz arcade fightstick pro which basically looks similar to the SFxT one, but is it the same in button layout wise?
hello mr gamingdekap... i want to ask, between this SFXT pro and Soul Calibur SE by madcatz, which one is better? in term of durable, quality, comfort, and performance?
I jus got i bt cant make i work on PC (fighcade). Would you have any tip for me on that?
Why did you change the stick unit? I thought this stick comes with full Sanwa party already?
Tausendwasser i played super meat boy on this and smashed the hell out of everything.
haha, okay. because I ordered one of these two days ago. just got shocked for a moment.^^
Tausendwasser IS there a site to buy artwork?
+StuartEvil Dunno if you found out already but there's a site called Art's hobbies (tek-innovations) where you can send in your own artwork and get it printed for $5. As for ordering artwork that's already made, I don't know about that, but you can download artwork off the internet and send that in.
How much did all of this cost fightstick included
Im not saying he doesnt go out im just asking if we can see him do stuff outside
You replaced the sanwa joystick with a sanwa joystick dude..aren't they the same thing?
you know how stickers give your car 5 more horsepower. A better looking stick will make all your normals into EX normals
BobaCakes lol
BobaCakes he could just have bought a new balltop lol
***** didn't watch the full video. Thanks for your input though.
Jason Orozco He said it in the first 30 seconds of the video
How often should a fightstick be modded?
What size should my artwork be when I submit it?
yo i have a question, what's the balltop size for this fightstick?
+Dekap Can you tell me what kind of paper you use for the artwork?
I want the stick and the buttons to change position, (to play the stick with right hand) cant find any, its possible to customize this???
if you get the tournament edition, you can order a custom full top panel replacement from ART, it will replace all top panel with one made of plexy, with whatever layout you want
Be Seth Killian
Where r u from?
Thanks man. Tho I like my sfxt fightstick. Got it a few days ago and tryin to adapt. Ill be lookin for that next fightstick vid u mentioned tho.
Damn, that was a pretty involved process.
Do you know how to replace the USB cable? My dog just chewed through mine
You could probably grab a spare usb cable, strip it and splice it into the existing one. Should be 2 or 3 wires you could solder or twist connect.
How did you cut the artwork so perfectly?
He paid for it, like he said
8:43 not gonna lie my heart almost skipped a beat too
maybe you should make a few shirts or something and see how they sell its not my idea i have seen a few people want a shirt with a saying of yours on it
negative.... should i?
Where can I find a PSD for the TE2
Is this arcade stick the same as the Mad Catz Arcade FightStick PRO?
basically. the reason the SFxT version is more expensive is because they're limited edition but in comparison both fightsticks are pretty much the same.
Julian Ayala sorry for late reply.. just bought a standard PS3/PC fightstick Pro - will all the items on art hobbies site work with might even if labeled as SFxT Pro? - figure the layout/size is same.. just the artwork?
Phil Maclachlan i believe the layout would be the same because the SFxT version of the fightstick pro is the same as the regular fightstick pro just different art work.
and the mad catz sfxt pro was $100? or $150?
not flush but its not noticeable. hasnt flexed either.
Did you even have to remove the old art sticker? Couldn't you just overlay the new art over it?
***** Just poke some holes where the screws go so you can keep the original art. The new art/ plexi already tells you where they're at. I'm thinking about getting one of these, but I'd like to keep the old art AND be able to put new stuff over it.
what's the dogs name ?
on all my sticks i use the octagonal gate
pretty much the same minus the button layout
blue staffy?
Hey! I have a good deal opportunity on a ps3 version of this stick, does anyone know if its compatible with pc and tekken 7?
smurfness, thank you for tellin me what the artwork says, it was about to kill me.
@CatzizMyThang what makes you an expert on his life to say he doesn't go outside?
No link ??????
Thats what i was thinking when he did the video yesterday on the gift he got. I thought it was a t shirt design.
What game
get one!
buttons/artwork/plexi-$80. i would of never replaced the buttons if i thought they were ok but impossible game made me really beat the hell out of those buttons.
yeah. i was being haunted by deathstroke when i made this video
You kinda remind me of one of the characters from The Big Bang Theory sometimes.
I'd buy one
Dude when it fell I was shit scared. Can't wait till I get my first finest fight stick
God i love Deadpool he's so sick.
@gamingdekap if definitely buy a shirt bro
Good video man, I love the stick but I don't think I could ever own one just for how much hassle it takes to get at the art.
Fuck me! Are all fight sticks this hard to mod?
There is a template
Do they have one for ps3
Dekap when you did the test do the camera with the gameplay
a lot of people use them.
You must be a real deadpool fan dekap
