- Here is a full breakdown of the LVT3 LED Board for the Mad Catz TE2 Fight Stick. This LED board allows you to program any colors to your fight stick buttons, including neutral and active states. You can also set idle animations for when your fight stick is in standby mode.

iNguyenn There has been one issue with the joystick connector that a few of us have noticed already... The diagonal Down-Forward position seems to flicker between Down and Forward, making certain moves come out wrong, which is kinda a big deal. A friend told me about this, then I noticed one of my sticks has the same issue, but not the other (both are using the LVT3). As a fix, since I am not using an LED joystick, I simply removed the LVT3 cable from the joystick, and used the one that comes with the TE2. My diagonal is no longer sticking now. It may be worth taking into consideration if you plan on using an LED joystick though.
KrizmKazm Ah okay, that's good to know. I was looking into making the joystick have an LED but idk what I would need to do. Any ideas if it'd work with the PS4 fightstick and are the LEDs always on or can you toggle it with the Xbone LED function button?
Also I might as well just reply back onto this post about the buttons. But, the reason I ask about whether or not the LED board works with Seimitsu is because I have clear Seimitsu buttons right now. I just don't want to end up paying more money for clear buttons if the ones I have already work. I guess we'll find out sooner or later.
I checked paradise arcades site and the board is available for pre order. Hopefully i'll get mine in sooner than later.
iNguyenn At ParadiseArcadeShop, the specs say compatible with the TE2 'Xbox One' Fight Stick, so I'm not sure how much different the PS4 version is. On the TE2, there is a button to turn the LEDs on/off, so you have that option. You could also set the "idle animation" to blank, and have it activate after like 3 seconds of inactivity so the buttons are off when you're not using them. I'm not sure if you can specify the neutral state to not have a color at all, and only show a color when pushed. That may be possible as well. Yeah I just noticed the website has them on preorder now. Crap, hopefully they can restock soon since its such a hot item.
KrizmKazm yo! So I got my TE2 stick in not too long ago. And I compared both the Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons and they're about the same size. So I'm guessing the LED board should work! A downside to these "newer versions" of the TE2 is the plexi.. I'm jelly that they didn't have the plexi like the ones with the KI sticks.
iNguyenn Nice man! Do you plan on getting an LED joystick as well? If so, there have been some issues with the joystick wiring on the LVT3. If you aren't using an LED joystick, Id suggest not using the joystick wire that comes with the LVT3 and you wont have any issues. If you do plan on using an LED joystick, see this video: ruclips.net/video/8fkwuAnvUng/видео.html I had the same problem on one of my sticks until I switched back to original joystick wire.
After what seems like 2 years, it's finally back in stock for both console's sticks. Bought it minutes after it was put in stock, can't wait for. Thanks for the guide, will be sure to watch this again when I get it.

Another great video, man! Subscribed! At first, I was worried that this board might not be compatible with the sweet looking "Rivals" TE2 that I just bought for PS3/4, given that it doesn't include the little 3 pin cable that your stick has... But I was able to refer to the TE2 parts guide that Mad Catz has available on their web site, and it turns out that you have to open up the PCB cover to install the cable to the board.
Weird - but hey, at least I know I can use it! Now I just have to wait for Bryan and Susan to Open shop following their move back to Minnesota.
BTW, kudos on that artwork! You did well featuring Maya front and (almost) center... What a great character model. Anyway, I love all the color in that illustration.
jcchaconjr Awesome, glad it all worked out! Yeah I like the "chick stick" too. Agano's stage really keeps the whole layout bright and colorful with that blue sky. And yeah that Maya render, too beautiful! I love all the detail in her face (those freckles, them lips) so I wanted her to appear nice and large. I'm pretty happy with both of my layouts, probably wont be changing them out anytime soon.

Really kicking myself for not picking 1 up when they were available.
Upgraded my stick with a brooks fighting board and ez mod, but didn't realize it disable the OG led board.
Looks like the Xbox version of the lvt3 is no longer produced, and the ps4 version is sold out. Not even sure if the ps4 board would be compatible, or if it could be discontinued all the same.
The te2 is just a great stick with the way it was designed, with being plug and play for upgrades. But sadly a lot of the upgrades are increasingly harder to find.
I've managed to luck out so far. I have 2 TE2s w/ LVT3s, and haven't run into any issues. I don't know what I would do if an issue arises, but I'll cross that bridge when I have to...

How do the buttons look in daylight?
I'm building a MAME bartop cab and couldn't mind it looking nice in bright daylight too.
wepootheuser They look beautiful during the day too! It's hard to capture on video or in photos, the exact colors and brightness that I see in person, but they are very bright and vibrant. Looks great!

Nice videos, so the clear buttons you've linked, automatically have the LED lights within them? or did you have to physically add those also? or is that common for the clear ones? the description of the buttons, doesn't really say it has LEDs within them, is there a way of telling?
+Andrew Williams Good question! The LEDs are part of the LED board, and not the buttons themselves, so as long as you are using 30mm Sanwa Translucent buttons (without a solid plunger), they will light up with this board. But yes, the clear buttons I linked will light up when used with the LED board. You'll never have to manual install LEDs inside the buttons.
KrizmKazm Awesome, so it's like the LED shines off of the board itself, and just bleeds through. Guess if I saw the other side of the board, I would of realised lol.

hi there mine arrived today and i switched the cables to make the buttons work everything works now . and i see the light . however connecting it and making it work with the software is where Im stuck. i got the part where the 1 and 3 buttons are flashing white alternatively .. but when i press scan it keeps saying verify your lvt3 usb cable is cconnnected to the computer and try again . i tried it both on my win 8 and win 10 pcs all have the drivers framworknet thingy and admin permission where did i go wrong ? hope to get help.

@@KrizmKazm I believe it is because the board is not compatible with the Victrix Pro 2.i mean the buttons work and light up but I can't customize them because the Set Up App Won't work... Big Sad.. They should especify in it's site that it does not work with Victrix 2

Hey saw this very informative video and noticed your mention of the issues you had loading the software. I'm getting the software update alert about visiting paradisearcadeshop.com therefore not letting me run the setup software. Any suggestions ?? I've tried numerous times now and still says the same update message
Anthony Chapin Make sure the mini USB is not plugged into the LVT3 until after the software launcher window appears. Otherwise, try running as Administrator and/or extract the ZIP to a different folder and try again... not great suggestions, I know, but I just kept trying and eventually got it :/

Does the software having a dimming feature? Also is there a switch inside to turn the lights off? I believe the one Madcatz makes can be turned off by opening and pushing a switch.
+Maccha.ice The Madcatz TE2 actually has a Lights ON/OFF switch right on the front of the stick. While there isn't a dimming feature, you can set the colors to be anything you'd like, so if you choose a color that has less saturation or is darker, it appears dimmer.
Really? Wasn't that only for the Killer Instinct model? Mine instead of the on / off / haptic has a rs / dp / ls for functioning as the other sticks that are normally found on the dpad. Seems all their current lineup are like this.

I'm 90% sure it does, but the guys at ParadiseArcadeShop can probably confirm for you before ordering. I have the LVT3 board in 2 of my MadCatz TE2s. The TEs+ are very very similar.

Hello, how is my query, how can I get LED buttons for arcade stick, but of those that turn on when you press the button, or is not it just the button? or is it a different system? because I am in a project to build some arcade stick with LED buttons similar or equal to those that appear in your video could you send me information about sales webs of these implements? and how to arm them?

You can set active and non-active colors to your buttons using this LED board. In your case, you could assign the color Black as the inactive state (so they appear dim or off, then set whatever color you want for the active state. That way, I believe they will only appear to light up when pressed.

+Adul620 yes, FocusAttack.com is great, and a very popular source for modders. I believe a lot of tournament players shop there for parts. Shipping time is pretty reasonable and they offer tracking as well. They seem to have a large inventory too. Everything I've wanted from them has always been in-stock and available.

iNguyenn Good question. I'm not 100% positive, but the specifications for the LED board don't mention any particular button style being required.

iNguyenn No prob. Yeah I'm assuming as long as the screw buttons are roughly the same size as the Sanwa, it should work. I might suggest just ordering one button first to test it out

To be honest, I have no idea. I've never used a Qanba stick. It may be worth shooting an email to Paradise Arcade Shop and ask, someone there should know.
Got mine in the mail this morning, doesn't work, that's the 2nd now, it doesn't seem to be a reliable product.
Where are you getting stuck? Just hooked mine up the other day and reconfigured all the colors, no problem.

Ok, just watched your video. It looks like you hooked up the hardware without issue. As far as installing the drivers, are you on Windows 10 and is your Windows 10 up to date with ".NET 4.5"? If so, are you using the ALPHA BUILD? If that doesn't work, how about trying the 2016-Hori update version? arcadeupgrades.com/products/lvt3/ The 'Version Mismatch' error makes me think you need a different version of the drivers.
I have 4.5 umm How do I use Alpha Build? as for drivers, I've downloaded the recent ones as well

mrsixonenine Good question. There are 2 LVT3s on the website, and one is labeled as "Xbox", but both have xbox listed in the specs as well, so I'm not sure :/ You may want to shoot them an email and ask. They are usually pretty responsive.

hahah no they don't, they just put out a normal led bored that lights up. the same exact one they included in the KI edition. it was cheap, 20$. they sold it on there website

Hey Krizmkazm, do you still have a way of controlling this board? I recently purchased one and the software doesn't work.
Mine still works. However, I haven't had to run the software in years. Kyle (commentor below) is having the same issue as you and I remember hoping on the forums to follow up on his issue and it sounded like something they were actively working on a solution for, although I haven't heard an update. I just followed up with Kyle (below) to see if he was able to get it running.

shoryuken forums, he has been sporadically helping me use the LVT3 on
his moledcule google chrome app. The board doesn't quite work yet with
his application, but hopefully he gets back to me and can make it work. I
would recommend trying it out in case it works for your LVT3. It should
have all the same functionality as the PAS software.
As for PAS shop and the proprietary software, I've contacted PAS
multiple times about getting an update to the software, but it seems
they can't get a response from the creator of the software.
Hopefully somebody comes through soon, it's a good board and easy to
install/use as far as adding LED effects.

Does the led color program still work for u? i purchased one of these and haven't been able to change the colors since i got it in october.
+iiCandyman I haven't changed my button colors since I first got it, but the program was always a little flaky. As noted toward the end of the video, sometimes I would have to try and launch the program 10-20 times before it would actually open. Does it tell you it's not connect to a USB port, or that is needs to get an update?

iiCandyman Yeah man I always had the same problem. As frustrating as it is, you just gotta keep trying. If you get the message, unplug the mini USB, then plugin back in, hold down the buttons and just keep repeating until it works. There's nothing you're doing wrong, just gotta keep trying :/

Having issues or is ParadiseArcadeShop still sold out?
I just picked up the lvt3 for xbox one. installed everything correctly but the software won't open after I install it. keeps saying I need to update but I already have the updated drivers. is there any way to get the old software that we know works?
To be honest, the old software did the same thing. 10:45 Keep trying over and over again until it pops. I know it's frustrating

I don't believe so. The software is very amateur, but does the job once you can get it running. I don't remember seeing an icon though. I just kept unplugging/plugging the micro usb cable to the fightstick and relaunched the software. Try running as Administrator too.

I dont think so. I've been using it for 3+ years without noticing any latency issues.
