      Take away the 2 horizontal struts and fill in the glass shouldn't be taking 4 years especially since it's what they want. Give the files to me I have blender I'll do it

    Would be cool if the wings expanded out at lower speeds conserve fuel through gliding and then narrow at higher speeds to decrease drag

      Would make sense as it has all the right ingredients. Enough room for at least two patients, heavy armor to evacuate out of high risk areas and with the VTOL thrusters it’s also well maneuverable.

    The Storage boxes on most bikes look great. The Dragonfly Yellowjacket has perfectly fitting boxes.
    Not functional yet, but still. Beautiful.

    soon as they said ship metrics and people having issues adapting to it. think that also means banu merchantman. sounds like someone worked hard on it and then someone was like well the banu are going to be 2 meter taller now and the whole ship had to be adjusted :p but honestly every time i saw the BMM i thought... are banu bending down to get through these doors.

    I feel like adding a helicopter-like ship for local flying would be pretty awesome. Like the helicopters form avatar, it's pretty futuristic looking, it has weapons so it makes it like a really small drop ship style helicopter. I'm a helicopter mechanic so I feel like it would be pretty sick to add something like this.

    The Beginning of the Bone
    First sighting of the bone was when user @Azyate began boning comments in #sc-testing-chat unceasingly, with the initial comment being that of @KudosChump right before the drop of SC Alpha 3.17.0-ptu.8029196. The trend continued for some time until a :bone: made it's way into the MOTD! That, along with a bone-comment by Synth, solidified the :bone: 's place in history as a universal sign of The Gibbening of The Patches.

    I really appreciate how hard you all work on making the ships and sharing the process with us, there is a lot detail and factors to consider and adjust to at all levels of the design, and despite that kind of chaos possibly making bad stuff, you all’s process has really served you well and made you excellence apparent.

    One of the biggest things when it comes to "eras of ship design" is to make sure that that era is respected when it comes time to revise and rework old ships. It would be a shame if the Avenger becomes this weird Sabre knock off rather than maintaining it's space shuttle carrier-fighter look.

    Mantis with a small cargo space would be even better. It never made sense to me that the Mantis has bathrooms, a bed, and even a food space, all the creature comforts of a long distance mission based ship... and its not long distance enough to even need those features.
    If this ship was given a MASSIVE scanner, or even turn that baby into a data runner! Some cargo space for long distance exploration or something, now THAT would be an amazing and novel variant which a TON of people would purchase since the design of the mantis as a mid range ship is amazing

    The sidecar idea gave me the following idea:
    A MagLev Vehicle trailer that can carry 1 SCU box, 1 player confortably or up to 12 small boxes.
    (basicaly, like a reverse RAFT ship, that has no propultion and just floats there, but can be pulled away by tracktor beam, vehicle or ship.)
    The trailer Attaches itself to vehicles and surfaces via Tracktor beams locking the trailer i that position relative to the surface or ship it is pointed to. This woudl alow any vehicle, or ship to "add" 1 SCU worth of cargo per trailer added to them.
    These trailers would also alow furniture and FPS items to be carried, and players could use those Items while the trailer is attached.
    In the future, a trailer carrying fabricators, mining lasers, medical beds and other support items could be carried along like a "poor man small base kit".
    Also, these trailers would make great shooting plataforms from ships and locations, and players could add fixed FPS guns and AI turrets or simply make a treehouse with a sofa on it, to watch the wild life around them.

    Shift delete 2 seats, 2 beds including the giant purse bag handles from the freelancer mid(MAX) and make that turret accessible from co pilot seat.
    Also Pulse bike was added and removed so fast from the shop, marketing wasn't very well

      right I had to sprint past the beds because the game would just make me lay down and get stuck if i walked past them. like you cannot stand beside them and look at them or you in for more wasted time dealing with work-arounds.

    I'm interested how the process moves on from the design mesh work and revision shown here. The impression I have is that the ship team uses this as a sort of prototype and essentially starts again from scratch in different software. It feels like working being done twice, can you help me understand how it is done and why doing it this way is efficient and effective.

      wow this really inspired me to spend more money on SC, is that what they expected to hear? I get bored playing SC because of all the bugs, lack of content. just today spent an hour doing xeno which has been the same event for days on end now, just to bug out and the mission just go poof. with no record of my progress on the mission from start to right at the end. Would have enjoyed having the xeno missions cycle through I mean I didnt get to play alot of these other missions for long. but i feel like this idris transport mission has been available for almost a week it feels like

    This is perfect, but I wonder why the company does new projects like this and the company still has uncompleted projects since 2013 with a cost of 600 dollars, I don't understand, how the company doesn't work on real projects and they dedicate themselves to making garbage projects that take 2 days to complete....       @@karisto6935 ah I see what you are asking, and I guess that's an impossible dream because it's impossible to push a feature though in one go unless you want to have catastrophic bugs that cause the game to be able to reliably launch for the majority of players.

      After RSI is cleaned up, they'll probably move to misc next since they have the second biggest backlog.

      @@MrRoblcopter its not backlog which drove them to RSI. Its simply based on what sells. The Polaris, Galaxy, and Perseus brought in more money on their concept releases than almost any other concept. Even the Arrastra blew the charts away.
      Origin, and MISC don't pull in profits like RSI. Truth be told, I am a MISC man myself, but after ILW, we all know Drake sells.
      Drake will be next.

      @@wafflesinsanity "brought" "sold" what's the incentive to make them when they already brought in the money? RSI has a good 4-5 cap ships and smaller ships they could chew through, while everyone else has about 1-2.

    Definitely cool watching everything build up and come together. I’d attach the capes like streamers to the frame of the vehicles so player capes later can be a thing.
    Seems like aliens may have colorful streamers utilizing star cloth

    I literally called that it was too similar to the RSI Scorpius... but I think if this could become a real concept... I would pledge for it.
    This would be awesome and I think Antonio...Alberto... .. that person that made it, should be the sole creator of it.
    To pay tribute to brandt ? you could do a small bobblehead or easter egg on the speeder bike when made in-game.
    I also died when you all laughed about the rsi struts... constellation cockpit remake CONFIRMED?!?! (I know you guys saw those reddit posts)
