I'm not sure the viability of an in atmo only aircraft, but if they do decide to do that, I think ornithopters as an alien vessel would be very cool. I could see the Banu creating such a craft.

As a long-time motorcycle rider, thank you for going with the current Pulse design. Barring the aggressive, drag bike/sci-fi/junk crunching geometry, the LX is an absolute stunner! Can’t wait to see how hover tech evolves.

The answer to grav-lev has already been answered. Switch it back to the 3.1.4 - 3.4 models. It was fast, smooth, fun and a lot less explodey. Example of fun as follows. Get a Dragonfly out on Yela. Race it up a mountain at top speed and into space. Be amazed that you are not falling back to the ground. Fly it to GH. Do whatever. It's Grim Hex. Get back on Dragonfly and fly back to where you started. Realize how much fun that was. And best of all, NO explosions.
His skills with blender are AMAZING!!
Yeh, the speed he works is nuts.
All I learnt from this was that we need:
- Dogs
- Capes
- annoy John crewe for 3 months

This is so cool! Really happy to see you guys use Blender. They really deserve all the praise for bringing 3D, Animation, Sculpting and all accessible to everyone :)
Anyone remember the live gamedev where they modeled the spider, and had an unfortunate spawning of the character model? Good times :3

My last dog was a mutt of a bunch of large breeds, resulting in a massive beast of overprotective daughter bodyguard with a forward mounted thunderclap emitter and an aft mounted death cloud discharge nozzle. And he was about 90kg.

This. That thing looks awesome. Only thing is, the top wings need to retract in while the bottom wings work as the skid pads when landed. But otherwise it's such a cool design.
I'll give you my wallet, you'll probably need antihistamines for the amount of dust that comes out of it though.
@@Billy-bc8pk maybe have the lower ones flip out and foward while the upper ones fold down and more less makes running board to step off the bike the flippy ness like bang kori bomber or how ever its spelled or have the lower ones flip foward then the upper ones lower then angle back and becomes the landing gear. so it looks like a grasshopper sitting
I mean, this thing is honestly cooler than all the gravlev vehicles actually in the game, give it to me pleeeaaassseee!!! Alberto is ridiculously talented and it also warms my heart to see Blender being used and accepted by creatives at big studios, it will be the industry standard within the next 5 years or so, mark my words.

Great looking concept bike. I'd like to see a simple trike with balloon tyres that pulled along a small trailer for quick in and out runs to the bunkers or moving items quickly from ship to ship in our hangers. I'd like it to be as simple as you can make it, without the need to wait 5 mins for a door to open or a ramp to come down. A single button press to power and start the engine so you're off as soon as you sit on it. Cheers

Very cool demo! It's been a while since we have seen some in engine work on SCL too *wink*. Special thanks to Bran for being such a good pup. That is a cool looking bike, reminds me of a sky bike from anime. Anvil needs a battleship and destroyer and I think something from the inspiration vein of the Space Battleship Yamato universe would be cool.

Jokes aside, a humming bird wing style hover bike/vehicle would be unique and cool
John Crew should troll Jared by coming up with a Lolopi Liner. Blend a Drake Cutty with Starliner wings scaled down to fit on the top of the hull, like a SC version of the Spaceballs Winnebago.
So in about an hour you can do this, but we had to wait years for the X1 and are still waiting for other bikes.
A huge difference between doing a quick concept of a bike then getting it to work in game, especially with something like the Ranger and the 2 wheel tech needed.
I've been waiting 4 years for a single dev to go in and make the Connie lose its middle struts like they said they've wanted to. I've used blender it doesn't take this long LMAO just select the middle struts and press delete and fill in the windows.
Loved the swoop bikes in start wars.

Its a pod system that has you slowing down close to EVA style of moving Gimbled Gyroscoped (GG´s) or Alignment Disc Altitude Metamovement - Suit. .... Well... Or Adam.... The Adam Suit is an adition to the EVA....

Okay, first comment, why did he need to wear a hard hat? I'd he expecting to be hit on the head?
Now for my ideas: Since we now have modularity, how hard would it be for us to get detachable wings for some of the existing bikes. I don't mean breaks off, but something that allows the hoverbikes to glide at medium speeds, and allows them to act as dropable veichles. That can glide out of another ship, while slowing down the top speed. (due to drag.) Then when it lands, you can detach the wings allowing you to regain the full speed of the veichle.
Also can we get a small ammount of of pitch movement on hover bikes, mainly to help us climb or aim weapons.
Note: i'm only about 1/3 through the vid, so I don't know if you addressed this yet.

Make upright lean back relaxed seated bikes. More relaxed where the legs extend out on comfortable flooring.
