..and the concept art team hears the screams of thousands of wallets, crying out in pain.... curse you concept art team. Dam that ship looks good.
Wallet already did its crying so I don't have to now.
Haha
Amen. Wallet already so empty it’s got an echo.
@@adarkwind4712 Yeah, mine cried that very day, got the refining and med modules as well, didn't see the need for the cargo as I figure, this, my Carrack (4x fury) and prospector would be a group for multiple types of play.
@@remiqainegalaxy and fury owner as well.... for the empire!
It's also really interesting with the Galaxy recently being shown as one of the ships you could use to build bases, when that feature finally comes
Yup! I released this video, then afterwards they drop that big news :D
One of the things I absolutely love about the Galaxy is that the Bridge is not in the front, its in a traditional position and that just feels right.
Really gives that star destroyer or venator feel. Same with the perseus
@@alexanderellwood8952 Man now you made me imagine a bengal sized Perseus with 8 turrets mounted along the foot of the bridge tower lol
@@HunterSteel29 There is still the rumor of an Anvil capital ship focused on big guns instead of torps like the Polaris. We might yet see that dream.
Yeah that ship concept got me. I am not one for putting money down on concept ships but seeing the potential of this ship and me wanting a less combat focus play style I thought this was the ship I wanted to make my big ship of the fleet. And also the fact that I get a $600 carrack for a loaner for who knows how long really sealed it for me.
exact same reaction & action from me, LOL
I'm loving this series. Very soothing narrative voice, and I appreciate the balance you maintain of responsible skepticism without being cynical, and hopefulness without being overly optimistic.
Thank you :)
You apparently missed something in IAE2952. While they claimed that the prototype was missing, if you watched the Jax videos, at the end when he's rescued by Bob, you can see that the Galaxy prototype is behind him, apparently stolen by pirates who took it to Pyro to sell.
it wasent stolen it was ..... tactically acquired
You mean Jimmy? Jimmy's a badass. Test pilot. Stunt Pilot. Even as a Marine he can flourish and facetank a squad of pirates. Hell he absolutely SOLD those Crusader heavy fighters when Jax got disheartened.
You are quite literally my FAVOURITE star citizen youtuber. Keep up the great work!!
These drydocks on the concepts are quite enjoyable, thank you for the content, looking forward to more. cheers
Grabbed one during the concept sale. Glad this video exists; helps me assemble my fleet better now. Great Stuff.
👌😎🚬
Great video! I unmelted a CCU to one after it featured so heavily in the base building segment of Citizencon. Building up to Large size base structures is FAR more tempting than the modular options previously offered to me.
I don't play Star Citizen yet because I am ppor, but out of all the ships I've seen this is my favorite looking. It reminds me of my favorite ship in Elite Dangerous the Anaconda.
Let's just hope it's not *too* long to wait!
you lacking 50 dollars to start playing this game?
@@gray_cardinall If they don't have a PC that can handle playing this game, the cost just to play this game is significantly more than a $50 starting ship package.
Great episode! And what a good looking ship that is. I was expecting a bit more shielding though. Maybe that will change as the development progresses along. Thanks for the video, Farrister!
I really appreciate this video, especially having on of these beauties in drydock myself!
Would love to see a Drydock episode for the Orion!
I decided to check youtube if there was anything interesting while gaming, and my my what a surprise, 6 mins ago a new drydock upload by Farrister, what a wonderful day.
Edit:
Considering it's basically just a bigger better andromeda (if fully crewed), I feel like they could've at least kept the central/spine turret pilot controlled and only put the other 2 turrets on the wings as remote, so the pilot still has some firepower like an andromeda, msr or corsair, but group-play is promoted by giving the turrets heavy firepower.
Also considering it's size (and cost) I figured it would at least get 2x large shield generator like the 600i or carrack, even the corsair and andromeda each have 1x S3(L) shield gen, and they're medium ships which are also 33% cheaper, it's just weird that the galaxy only has 1, unless it gets a ton more hull HP I guess.
I agree with the cargo choice, doesn't really make much sense to get it for that, and the you said there's not really an equal medical offering, but I think that would be the apollo variants, in a pure sense I think the only reason to get the galaxy is as a mobile refinery (since it can both store raw and refined materials at teh same time).
The only kind of people I see buying the ship are ones such as myself who think the angular RSI design is just awesome, maybe even replace your hercules with this as your hauler if you prefer an RSI hauler instead of circular CI or phallic MISC, or finally the the kind of player who prefers fewer ships, due to it being able to due multiple rules, besides fighting and even defending itself if not fully crewed.
I dunno, in hindsight I feel like it's a cool ship, but I should've probably not bought it since I'm not interessed industrial play, already own an M2 for hauling and for medical will get an apollo medivac, the m2 is also a large S5 ship like the galaxy, but gets pilot weapons and 2x S3(L) shield, I know it costs more, but even the C2 gets 2x S5 guns for pilot and double shields...
After this retrospective I feel like I should melt my galaxy, but it's CCU'd, fml.
COULD NOT agree more. 👍
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, the single shield is surprising
i remember hearing somewhere that eventually remote turrets will be able to be controlled by an AI "shard" (i.e. Persues point defense turrets) which could allow them to be slaved to the pilot. If that's true, it'd essentially mean that the default loadout does not have that capability, but upgrades can be made.
I did buy the Galaxy Freighter Warbond at release. Yes, the design was a primary attractor I will admit. I bought the other two modules with credit, but the Freighter is what I got it for.
The same cargo capacity of the Caterpillar, but with internal loading of tractor beams for FULL SIZE 32 SCU containers, was part of the decision. The Cat does not seem to have capability for those, and the Galaxy gets to keep them inside unlike Hull series nor fully rely on other assistance like the more vehicle focused Hercules series.
And the ability to flex into other areas like medical, refinery, and the hinted-at manufacturing is a nice bonus. The other bonuses, in my mind, are the hangar and nice Habitation setup. Oh, and that RSI styling
@@ericwollaston5654 same here. I did buy the Galaxy mainly for being a freighter. I really do not know why people are so dismissive in that regard. As you said, it has the same capacity as the Cat, will probably be a tad faster, definitely better armored and can carry a MPUV in the hanger to help with loading. The point about the single S3 shield was explained in the Q&A (which not a lot of people seem to read). I fully expect that most ships in that size category (C2, Cat, etc.) will have a single shield after the balance-pass.
This was great, thanks Farrister!😊
Given the general lack in combat spec (undersized/numbered shield, no pilot guns, relatively small missile capacity, questionable rear coverage), it almost feels like this ship's base stats are designed with the possibility of a combat module in mind
If they made this thing good at combat no one would buy the Perseus so I kinda understand the loadout
Interesting observation and I think CIG are more than happy to add literally anything they can sell
When it first released, I immediatly thought a good module would be one that adds another large shield as well as one of the Perseus' size 7 turrets underneath. It wouldn't out-perform the Perseus by any means, but it would provide a combat option in a pinch.
It is the support Perseus. Similar design style, but made to support the backline rather than fight in the front.
Doesn't make sense, where would the extra guns go? The only military possibility I can come up with is a minelayer, and that's only indirectly a combat role. This is RSI's civilian large ship. The ship you're looking for is the RSI Perseus.
Galaxy seems like it will be a great ship, should be fun to crew one day.
Neat observation from what you said about the cargo option: You can bring a vehicle onboard and transfer cargo from vehicle to scout ship, from inside the ship, since the vehicle/cargo bay is connected to the hangar. That's something that the Polaris and Odyssey can do as well.
Thank you Farrister for another great review!
YES YES YES, thank you Farrister for the review of the RSI Galaxy!!
This and the Perseus are easily the best looking ships in the game (well, when they arrive lol). I don't care what anyone else say.
I have added Zeus Mk2 on that list.
Agreed with both of you! def gonna have all these ships in game one day
The new (and old) RSI Dorito triangle 🔺️ makes their latest ships look great. Makes me wonder if that unknown wedge shaped ship shown last November may be... wait for it... the Aurora Mk2.
You are an eloquent disclaimer master.. I like the Galaxy. A medium support ship. Good versatility and maybe more modules coming up for it. It'll probably be one of the three ships. I actually put cash out for. first being the Cutlass B of course.
Thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next in this series 🪐
I'm glad i purchased a Galaxy, now that we know about the base building module.
Yeah, big win for owners!
I hope we can buy the individual modules in game.
I like the drydock series. Great video.
Some nice thoughts here Farrister, thank you. I believe that the Galaxy is going to be an incredibly important ship for the community. Not only is it going to add a beautiful looking ship, it may well be the first ship to truly support modular design. Devs suggest once Polaris is out, the Galaxy and Perseus will be next. I’m hoping the Devs can learn enough with the modules on the Galaxy to start applying promised modules on other ships already out and pledged ships yet to be created.
I see that ship as a support ship for fleets/Orgs. With the cargo module and the hangar we are able to resupply for example a Idris/Polaris etc., so they do not need to leave the operation zone. So ARGO Cargos or C8 can transfer the supplies between ships.
The Galaxy only misses some more jumpseats, so that we also can transport new crews for the ships which we are resupplieing.
I have this ship in my buybacks. Waiting to see how it pans out. Love the style of it from what we have seen.
I love the series, and excited for the Galaxy. I may even try it as a solo cargo hauler.
The RSI Galaxy is a beautiful ship, but a bit out of my budget. I like it and it's modularity. I can see the potential for it. Thanks for reviewing it Farrister, The video was great as usual. Take care my friend, fly safe, and I'll see you in the verse.
So keen for this ship!
when i first saw the Galaxy, i was more 'Meh!' but the more i hear about and see the ship the more I feel like it could become part of my fleet... at least until the Odyssey comes in... and maybe even still after depending on how my ship list is looking and funds at the time 🙂but the biggest selling point for me is that medical module and the modular design... something i know the Retaliator will benefit from, modules that is...
thanks for another on point and awesome video Farrister, i look forward to the next one 🙂
I was fortunate enough to win a Galaxy Hope package in a raffle and it's single-handedly got me excited for mobile hospital gameplay for orgs. The Apollo had me looking forward to medical, but the Galaxy operates closer to the scale a Carrack does, and crews of 4-6 are gonna be pretty common out there.
This is perfect for a small org it has a Refinery to obtain recourses, medical to heal during war times, a cargo area to transport goods and hinted from CitizenCon base building. All important to make money, protect, gain recourses and build
I think this ship is the test bed for the modularity that will come with more complex ships like the Carrack and Cat.
Hard to say for sure, but we may get the Retaliator modules first if we get any big Squadron 42 info at Citizencon. They may just opt to finish that ship first if they need it for that project.
The new ships will get released 1st before the older generation, as they will need major alterations, and can't see CIG making that a priority. Its easier and quicker to build from scratch than modify.
@@davedanter Yeah, we're in a weird place with a few "generations" of ships. I am hoping with some of the older designs that they built them in such a way where they could be more easily modified to add components, etc.
@@JL-rj9fl I get the impression CIG have learned from those design mistakes of those early year's. Those Concept sales from the very early days have turned out to be the bane of CIG's existence, yet with the newer ships there seems to be more focus on the future, with a solid roadmap in place. and a quicker turnaround, It all just takes a lot of time.
@@davedanter Yeah, I've got a few older pledges and I'm happy to see them starting to move faster. In spite of all the time that has past over the years, I'm happy with how things are going. I'm usually pretty good about managing expectations, but I can't help but get excited about Citcon this year. I feel like I'm a kid on Christmas Eve or something.
The Galaxy is far more compelling now that we know it will have a base builder module, putting it one tier below the Pioneer.
I know, right?! You release a video, and then afterwards they release big news :D
I like the Galaxy and look forward to seeing it in game. I also want to see the loosely related ship, “The Endeavor.”
i like this new Format of Contnet. I like to see more like this!
I'mm so excited for this one! They already have my money for it and all modules. Maybe you could transfer a module to another location, similar to claiming a ship somewhere else. that way it would only be a matter of time. More modules would be great of course, maybe a scientific one and a combat one with more shields and weaponry. or even a dronebay to repair, rearm and refuel smaller fighters. There is potential here and I almost cannot wait! Beautiful ship this one!
The more i think about the Galaxy the more i want it.
Great potential, especially with base building features now announced
Do we know if the galaxy has the same mobile respawn capabilities as the carrack when the med bay module is equipped
Can't wait to use this ship as an intermediate construction ship or crafting ship
Yeah! They announced that after I made this video, sadly!
Thank you for a great review of what is known about this ship, Farrister. Kudos!
I love the looks of this ship and would have loved it to be at least close to be a C2 or a caterpillar competitor (with the cargo module of course) - specced to soloable (as a normal Truckdriver is). Alas, as others state - the (oddly) lack of protection as well as lacking pilot guns rules this out... at least with the current specs. Maybe some modules gives extra options? Like another shield-slot that comes with the cargo-module? ;)
It will continue to be one of my dream ships aesthetically - but show-stopped by specs.
I have a CCU waiting, but don't like the one shield gen. I am hoping it has armor to compensate.
Also it should have enough computer power to slave/blade the front turret to the pilot or maybe 2 automated, like the point defence on the Perseus.
The C2 and the Cat do not have much more to offer in terms of combat. You can safely ignore the peashooters you can control as a Cat-pilot. And as described in the Q&A, there is a balance-pass for shields ahead. I would not be surprised to see all three having only a single S3 shield in the end. C2, Cat, Carrack, Galaxy...they are all on the same level when it comes down to being soloable, which it not high. So just pick the one you like best.
@@JahruYou probably could solo the C2 - they list the crew as 1 to 2. Nevertheless, I agree you probably wouldn't want to.
I am not one to buy non-flyable ships, let alone concepts. However, I picked up a Galaxy for a few reasons. First: Each member of the crew has their own private warters to call their own, making it a place you can actually LIVE, long term. Second: Modularity - yes, right now it's a pipe dream, but once it is released, it means this ship can do whatever the crew decides to do, either as a single crew, or in support of larger organization needs. Third: Size - It is 'right sized' for the crew - big enough to support a 6-man crew and give them all plenty of jobs to do, but small enough not to be overwhelmed if only one or two people are online to operate the ship for it's configured function. Fourth: It was 'Right priced', if you buy without the modules, like I did. It's cheap enough to afford to buy a true, live-in multi-crew ship, but not get overwhelmed by the cost of investing in something so big, you'll never be able to truly use it even if you're just online solo.
Box missions
Does Talon fit officialy into the hangar (with spawn)? For the talon is consideret as an XXS/S1 ship.
Truly until we see this thing in game, few people will be able to answer with any degree of reliability.
Great video!!! I literally NEED!!! this ship now 😂😂😂
Great video, as always.
However, you forgot to mention the Galaxy-class will feature saucer separation, along with holodecks and a fish tank in the Ready-room.
And an unnatural attraction to those who dwell in the continuum
@@FarristerContinuum Life forms? You mean those tiny little life forms? I still don't know where they are (probably in the Jeffries tube or on Risa tbh).
I have an oddball fleet lol. I own my starter Aurora, an M50, 2 Connie variants, Drake Caterpillar, my Reclaimer. I also have a Saber and Vulcan that my brother bought for me. There might be 1 or 2 that I forgot. For concepts I have an Apollo, and of course my complete Endeavor master set. I favor ships that will do medical, science, exploration and overall fleet support, but do not (myself) purchase combat focused ships, with my money. So I could see this "jack-of-all trades, master of non" RSI Galaxy being a good addition to my fleet, for medical use, if it releases before the Apollo. If so, I'll buy a medical variant.
Very insightful video. Thanks!
Didn't realize just how much open space is still in the cargo module after you fill up the grid. If you are feeling risky you could probably haul more than the c2
Time will tell, I suppose!
mhm i dont find the ship in the store anymore will it come back before release?
I do really like the design of the galaxy from what ive seen. Definitely thinking of upgrading my connie to it.
I wonder if them modules came with lti, i don't remember more importantly will the base building module come with lti when its released seperate of the ship.
The galaxy is my one large ship ill be happy when it releases. Im anxious to see what other modules it will have ive got cargo and medical and will acquire the base building module when it releases im hoping my reclaimer will work side by side with it for construction materials for base building. And who knows cig might release a battle pack modules or a merc module with cells to hold bounties. There is a lot cig could do with this ship over the years
Yeah they announced the base building shortly after I had made this one :D
The Galaxy looks great, but the sleek, sexy and aggressive styling is incongruous with the role of the ship.
I would have suggested a more industrial look, and keep this design for a five crew mercenary corsair or fast attack gunboat.
It's very futuristic RSI, I think
Fuck yes!!! "Iv been looking forward to this" -count dooku
I would like to see a command and control module, with remote sensor drones that can be deployed to 25km out, and give a 3d sort of Homeworld 2 style fleet command console, where org fleets can direct the flow of battle. I would be important to protect this asset and when lost the tide of the battle could change drastically..
Medical Galaxy with Medical Pisces, and if they do end up making a medical URSA, the Galaxy w/Med Bay Module Could be a pretty OP hospital.
Medical much? :D
@@Farrister medical who?
I really liked the modularity, even if I'm not convinced that we're getting to see the ship anytime before release or even some time thereafter.
CIG did say recently that their work on the Polaris will help with the production of the Perseus and Galaxy (and I would assume other RSI ships with that design language). It really sounds like these 3 ships will be the next 3 larger ships to be flyable, unless plans shift of course - cough cough - Merchantman.
during the ship talk livestream they said that with the work on the hull C being done they would have resolved any remaining blockers for modularity (not in development yet though) and that they are working on the polaris which will then be followed by the perseus and Galaxy since those ships share their assets and interior modules, which is supposed to allow them to knock out these 3 ships in rather quick succession (for CIG standards i presume).
cool tech demo
Thought of another role, it could have a munitions factory to support a battle fleet by acting as a rearming ship. Uses raw material to craft missiles and munitions, with docking collar underneath to restock allied ships
Interesting idea, feels a bit too speculative for me though!
I bought a galaxy and it’s modules for 3 reasons,
1 it’s modularity
2 it’s org focus in mining and medical
3 it looks freaking sick
The bridge on that is what the Polaris should have in my opinion. I want a galaxy with a hangar bay!
We need to talk about the cargo module loading cranes! For anyone that has ever watched container ships load and unload, I can picture how incredibly fast the central cargo module will be for this purpose. The cranes can quickly move the containers to either place them on the central elevator or pick them up off the central elevator to stack on either side of that bay. This is a distinct advantage over the Hercules in this role (as a container mover - orbital station to most likely larger cities/outposts). On the flip side, no large vehicles, which is better suited to the Herc. This is why I love Star Citizen - the module doesn't invalidate the Hercules or vice versa, they are just good at different things. :)
Fun video. I’ve been doing some salvage, and thought this ship was a coming ship intended as a mobile dry dock to repair ships instead of scrapping them. Any news about that game loop?
I think you mean the Crucible, perhaps?
@@FarristerAwesome, thanks! I forgot that one. The bugs have me gaming off and on, but I always think living in the Star Citizen universe looks great.
I really like the design of the galaxy but when they did it wrong by making in more like a cargo runner, low key disappointed about it, but since its not in the verse yet I'll reserve my judgement of it, as it is, the crusader A ships are looking more like a ship that I would use as a daily driver. Great informative video Farrister 🤟😀
i had asked for a drydock on this ship on the last one, i really want this ship, its so cool, i really want it for cargo
it reminds me of the Arquitens-class ship in star wars and thats my fav ship in star wars. the galaxy will end up my main ship along side a few others, the hull line up of ships and a capital ship if i can ever get one
As a medical ship, I know a few other medical players still lean toward the Apollo. Just in terms of price, a non-Warbond Apollo Triage is $250 to the Galaxy's $470 (ship + medical module) or as good as half the price. The Galaxy has more combat ability, extant docking facilities, and all three bed types, but each of the three medical bays of the Galaxy medical module is equivalent to one of the two Apollo medical bays.
Those advantages are nothing to sneeze at, but I still feel like the Galaxy's flexibility of role means it has less flexibility within its role. The Apollo can carry two T1 beds to the Galaxy's single one, or four T2 beds for four respawning facilities to the Galaxy's three (1x T1 and 2x T2) - if the T2 beds lose respawning (which is possible; the Apollo looks to be the first ship with a T1 bed) then the Apollo with two T1 beds is suddenly twice as effective.
My brother pledged for a Galaxy, since he wants the chance to switch out from cargo hauling to mining-support to medical. That's the strength of the Galaxy, by far; it's three ships for the price of one. For me, I know what I am and so I prefer the Apollo.
I think they have it ready more than they tell us. The colors on this match the Zeus MK2 MR. Thats probably done on purpose. I would love to see the Zeus MK2 along this one.
That would be exciting...
Is the Galaxy becoming available to buy (and with a discount) for the next IAE next week?
I don't know, will have to wait and see!
I really wish the galaxy could hold a prospector / future single seat miners. Of course, when I pledged it it could, but that was apparently a typo. :(
What I want to know and be sure of is if attaching AI blades to the turrets would allow all 3 of them to be slaved to the pilot (which would mean a massive forward firepower of 6 size 5 weapons).
Beautiful yet so very poorly thought out. Rather than one, large, swappable chunk that forces the ship to lean heavily into a single role, it should have been designed with space for between 3 and 5 smaller modules that can be put together in a large number of ways. This would have turned the Galaxy chassis into a custom player ship that can be geared for any variety of roles as well as a multirole focus or something in between. Despite the beautiful external hull, they’d each be considered unique to the purposes of the group that uses them. Eg: an explorer might want an expanded housing, scanner room, cargo space and med bed. A combat support might want extra room for troops, an armory, a fighter/vehicle hangar and an engineering station. These are just off the top of my head to give the gist of it. A ship customised in such a way would not be constantly returning to swap out its role entirely because it would already suit the focus of the group that uses it. It was a lost opportunity and I doubt they’ll be heavily used past the honeymoon stage soon after it is flyable.
This ship is actually just a love letter to the elite dangerous acaconda, easy ccu for me to get a respawn ship for me and the boys.
The CMDR boys xD
When will it enter the shop again?
Perhaps in May, or November?
You made a "mistake" with the assumption that only the Hope class would be a comparison for medical gameplay: you forgot about the Apollo, but it was a great video :-) Keep up the good work.
Apollo looks fantastic! But will likely not have the full suite of beds in a single ship.
Ah you are right! I forgot the Galaxy had all 3 kinds of beds at the same time vs the set up of the Apollo: ithas 2 rooms with the option to implement one of the following set ups: 3 tier 3 beds or 2 tier 2 beds or 1 tier 1 bed.The Apollo would have 1 option less than the Galaxy.
I have a CCU waiting, but don't like the one shield gen. I am hoping it has armor to compensate.
Also it should have enough computer power to slave/blade the front turret to the pilot or maybe 2 automated, like the point defence on the Perseus.
Stop dreaming, all that nonsense is years away, anyway you need to spend a little more than you have.
The comment about the prototype being missing was referring to it being stolen by bandits at Ruin Station.
I upgraded my Valkrie to this. It's totally worth it.
Between this ship and my Carrack all i need is a Bengal and im all set 😆 🤣
"Just a Bengal" :D
@Farrister 😆 🤣 😂
I've been planning to steal one (or find one to salvage and repair) since I first saw them. Assuming I can't get a Pegasus carrier. I keep asking, but nobody seems to know if they're even still in the game.
I really hope I get one as my Endeavour loaner since it is closer to size and role than the starfarer
Love the "Drydock" series. Appropriately titled... sounds rough.
Sounds perfect to support the Orion, whenever that will be done
I wish they'd add a ramp to the back of the ship to support ground vehicles. I want this ship so bad!! But my currency is so weak
*cries in GBP*
Update on the Galaxy from Citizencon 2023:
● The Galaxy will be the next big ship from RSI after the Polaris (which itself is scheduled to be released within the next 12 months)
● The Galaxy will have a fourth module: Base building, allowing you to construct everything up to Large (but not XL) base parts.
Thus bridging the gap between smaller solutions (a ground-based vehicle) and the Pioneer.
I'm glad the Polaris and Perseus are the priority now. Those two are the biggest ships in my fleet.
Yeah have both, yet its the Perseus for me.
The best thing about the galaxy is that its loaner is a carrack. If you want a carrack but can't afford the $600, buy a base galaxy with no modules for $380 and you'll have a half(ish) price carrack for at least 2 years, probably longer.
But who would want a lump like the Carrack...no one
I think that the difference between the Galaxy and the Carrack is that while they're both suited to work on the fringe, the Galaxy is less suited to take damage and mote flexible, whereas the Carrack is designed to take a beating way the hell out there and still come back. Basically, "close fringe" versus "far fringe".
Sub capital sounds amazing
In my opinion the Galaxy should come with atleast a small sickbay with a T3 bed by default considering its size and crew capacity and since there is enough unused deadspace in the ship for them to utilize anyway. It doesn't make sense that I need to install a whole flying hospital into my ship only to have a single bed, unless I park a C8R Medical Pisces in the rear hangar.
To be honest, the deciding factor for me personally to buy this ship was its resemblance to Imperial Star Destroyers....
*Imperial March intensifies*
Have you talked about all unannounced ships? Because you haven't done a similar video for a while. If it is, you could talk about land vehicles or mechs
Wait... you actually talked about ground vehicles!
Apollo (also still in concept): Am I a joke to you for comparable medical gameplay options?
Haha Apollo looks fantastic, but you don't get that full suite of beds aboard. You would get your selection based on model. With Galaxy you would get beds at all tiers. Obviously all subject to change. (Apollo fan boy here)
I do belive they talked about a combat modul for it to, but not exactly what. My wish would be automated combat drone bay. The consept skin/paint is called Protector.. Im sure the combat modul Will be something New.
to me it look more like the carrack adult version.. or should I say evolve version... gotta got them all?
sub-capital means corvette?
Potentially, but I usually just use it to mean something on the cusp of capital size. There are capital ships that don't meet military classifications - eg 890 JUMP, Hull E, etc. so I'd also surmise that there are sub-capital ships that don't meet military classifications
The part that really bothers me about the ship is the single module there's no mixing and matching on capabilities. Sometimes it would be nice to refine materials and then store them locally other times you want to refine 2x as much because you have another place to store them.
I think I will stick with the Aurora LN I bought for $35 9 years ago, thanks haha
now after CitizenCon, Can be used to build S to L stuff on your outpost
For a ship that size the missile count to have 4 size 2 should be illegal to have should 28 minimum or 34 count at best with multi targeting equip wit that large computer and radar. firing more then 4 missile at a time suggesting 8 minimum 12 maximum. Honestly that should be standard for Connie size and up
id get one if they let us use the two turrets of to the side whilst in the pilot seat of course until u get people to man them etc.
Its a fun ship with purpose. Just needs to be in game to enjoy it.
